Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 5194: End of The Road! II

Chapter 5194: End of The Road! II

From above, the cold and clinical voice of Ubergulden Hye-jin rang out with a total absence of interest in the suffering she had just authorized.

"Contain him and shackle him, Ragnar, and don’t play around with the meat any longer."

THE Creature heard the words clearly as his entire existence was buzzing with the static of near-collapse, a sound continuing to play in his mind as if his very civilization were shaking.

His Existence was shaking from the pain and destruction as he couldn’t help but remember her.

Her face. Her warmth.

Her smile that was taken away so senselessly!

HUUM!

Anf his existence began to burn with rage!

His internal foundations were asking him if this was the end, if his climb was to be concluded as a harvest for the Superbius houses, and the massive, crimson-haloed hands of Ragnar neared him to finish the shackling!

He did not yet enact any change! He had not changed anything, so how could he be broken here?!

In that moment of absolute end, THE Creature felt his existence roaring in a desperate, primal defiance that reached deeper than his broken bones and his mutilated flesh!

He reached into the void of his own foundations for THE Primordial Source, searching through the wreckage of his consciousness until he found a single, ancient letter from THE Tongue of THE Primordial Source.

It was a letter that carried a meaning that transcended the eons and was forged in the pained emergence of the first things, and he roared it out of his existence with a volume that threatened to shatter the very foundations of THE Undefined Gaps.

"...PERSEVERE!"

BOOM!

Obsidian flames erupted from his body in an endless pillar of absolute authority, the force of the eruption actually pushing the brutally smiling Ragnar back by several meters as the space around them groaned under the weight of the ancient letter!

The giant laughed and roared out with a genuine excitement, his crimson halos spinning with a newfound intensity as he witnessed the impossible recovery.

"Oh? Now that seems like the genuine power of a Relictus! Haha, good! Rise! Tatakae! TATAKAE!"

BOOM!

The scene was shocking as THE Creature’s wounds and broken bones rapidly healed themselves under the surge of the obsidian fire, his muscles knitting back together and his spine snapping back into alignment with a series of loud, textured pops.

He rose from the crater with his obsidian mask hardening and his aura flaring with the weight of the ancient letter, looking coldly at Prima Custos Ragnar as his power seemed even grander and more terrifying than before!

HUUM!

Prima Custos Ragnar looked toward THE Young Relictus whose aura was even grander as he cracked his neck, the sound echoing like the snapping of dry branches in the cold silence of THE Undefined Gaps.

He asked with a dry, predatory amusement...

"What is the whole deal with "Persevere" anyway? It is among the words THE Relictus love to use as it does ridiculous things to the local architecture of existence, but..."

"But today, buddy boy, today is just not your day," Ragnar said, his voice dropping into a register of cold certainty.

"You can Persevere for as long as you want, but even a mountain eventually finds itself ground into dust by the turning of the tides."

HUUM!

Ragnar’s existence pulsed with a terrifying density as he raised his hand and pulled from one of the nine Prime Causes that comprised THE First Cause, reaching into the fundamental substrate of reality to grasp THE Dominion Cause, otherwise known as THE Cause of Supremacy.

The second experiential truth that emerged during THE First Cause was the truth that wherever multiple conscious beings exist, they will inevitably arrange themselves into configurations where some stand above others.

This arrangement is not imposed from outside but emerges from the interior of consciousness itself, derived from the recognition that differing capacities produce differing standings, and THE Dominion Cause holds this truth as its foundational axiom.

Many Armamental Axioms emerged from it.

It governed all authority, all governance, all hierarchy, all command, and all submission, for every arrangement in which one being holds power over another draws its structural legitimacy from this singular Prime Cause.

Ragnar pulled upon that Cause and allowed it to flow in his Rivers of Infinity in one hand, while his other hand reached toward a second Prime Axis to grasp THE Bellum Cause, also known as THE Cause of Conflict!

This was the Third Axis of Division: the fundamental truth that existence fights, born from the reality that consciousness encountering other consciousness inevitably produces friction.

THE Bellum Cause holds this truth as its foundational axiom, asserting that fighting is not an aberration of existence but a core function of it, as essential to the arrangement as breathing is to the body. It governed all conflict, all warfare, all violence, and all the structured expressions of one existence pressing against another with the intent to overcome, for every blade that has been swung or Pulse that has been cast draws its legitimacy from this Cause.

The power of both Prime Causes flowed in his hands, cascading across his Rivers of Infinity as he swung his hands down in a motion that sought to erase THE Young Relictus from the coordinates of THE Undefined Gaps!

HUUM!

Crimson and gold forces that the common eye couldn’t even perceive thundered down with the weight of entire civilizations, and THE Young Relictus erupted with his power, pulling from THE Primordial Source in a desperate, surging defense!

Ragnar laughed because the display was pitifully weak compared to the genuine Relictus he had feared in the eons of the past, and he watched with a cold, analytical eye as the result of the collision manifested.

BOOM!

THE Young Relictus faced a force so terrifying that when it smashed down, his entire body that had just risen was flattened again, the impact grinding him into the solidified obsidian floor of THE Undefinition.

Countless bones were broken with a sickening, wet crack, and his internal organs were ruptured into a slurry of golden ichor and obsidian fire that pooled in the crater!

Ragnar smiled with a cruelty that suggested he was finally enjoying the texture of the engagement, his crimson halos spinning with a violent light.

"Come on, say it again, buddy boy. Persevere, Persevere!"

"Persevere!"

BOOM!

Obsidian flames raged on THE Young Relictus’s body as his fractured existence and civilization healed through sheer causal defiance, and he began to rise once again, his aura flickering with a strength that was objectively grander than before!

Ragnar couldn’t help but laugh wildly before he bellowed out...

"Buddy boy, you simply don’t get the magnitude of the forces arrayed against you!"

BOOM!

The combined weight of THE Observable Force, Infinity, and two Prime Causes flowed through Ragnar as he struck out again, and THE Creature was flattened once more into the blood-stained crater!

Ragnar’s voice boomed through the void, encouraging him to rise again, to find that word and scream it against the darkness one more time!

"Go on, buddy boy, again!"

"Persevere!"

Obsidian flames raged once more as THE Creature healed and rose, his bones knitting together with the sound of grinding stone, before an instant later...

BOOM!

He was flattened again, the cycle of violence becoming a rhythmic, brutal cadence that stained the obsidian mountains with the scent of ozone and cooling blood.

THE Creature was decimated again and again, his body being ground into a ruin of meat and information as he uttered that single word of defiance every time his consciousness flickered back into focus.

By the eighty-first time, THE Creature was heaving in a crater filled with his own blood and the dissolved remnants of his authority, his breath coming in gurgling, wet gasps as Ragnar knelt toward him.

The Gilded One’s massive head came beside his ear, and he breathed in the scent of the decimation he had caused, his devilish smile inches away from THE Creature’s nearly shattered skull.

"It has been so, so boring lately, and I have been so, so lonely in the heights of the Braneworld. I can only break and collapse so many Luxuria whores..." Ragnar whispered just to him, while the other THE Gilded Ones watched from above with cold, judgmental gazes.

"I thank you for coming, as I can sense you come with change, so come on, buddy boy. Say that fucking word again, otherwise all of this will be over and we will have captured nothing but a tiny, broken little Relictus."

BOOM!

THE Creature’s existence buzzed at these words, and even throughout this carnage, his eyes never lost their light of defiance, for they burned with a fire that Ragnar’s Prime Causes couldn’t extinguish!

Ragnar picked up the head of THE Creature by the hair, and THE Creature looked at the Gilded monster through blood-clotted eyes, voicing out through broken teeth a question that carried the weight of a curse.

"Did you... forget that every time you come close to grasping THE Primordial Source... it gets taken from you?"

The words were heavy and unhurried, and Ragnar blinked as he smiled even wider, the irony of the statement not lost on his mind. And as if on cue...

BOOM!

The region above THE Undefined Gaps shattered as a baleful obsidian brilliance unfolded alongside a roar that smashed several weaker THE Gilded Ones from the skies and into the ground like falling stars.

Ubergulden Hye-jin gazed coldly above as the form of a titanic beast began to manifest in the distance, a being that was likely countless gigaparsecs away yet whose form was enlarging with a terrifying speed.

Its size alone was likely as vast as a Primordial Realm, and though it was far, it neared with a gravity that threatened to pull the entire Gap into its orbit.

Ragnar looked up toward the approaching darkness and smiled brutally, while above, Ubergulden Hye-jin took her diagonal crown off and whispered into its crimson-gold surface...

"A genuine Relictus actually came. Bring the others quickly."

BOOM!

Down below, Ragnar closed his massive fingers into the cranium of THE Creature, his grip tightening until the obsidian mask began to groan under the pressure.

"See? I knew you would make things exciting again, and I cannot thank you enough for starting this war, buddy boy. Do you want to bet if you will miraculously make it out of this alive, hmm? Wanna bet?!"

Ragnar asked these words as THE Creature only stared coldly at him, his answer being a single, final vibration of authority.

"Persevere."

BOOM!

Obsidian flames rose up higher than ever before, THE Creature breaking the grip of Ragnar as the Gilded giant laughed boisterously, and all of existence groaned for the catastrophic change that was about to unfold!
