Chapter 2730: Big Miss

Firework looked at the advertisements and laughed. “I hadn’t expected Dreamland to hire her for their promotional videos. She’s the Fairy Galaxy’s hottest female celebrity, though I think big sister Tingxue is much more beautiful than her.”

Tingxue turned to her and said, “You’re beautiful too.”

Firework’s eyes lit up. “It’s my greatest honor to receive big sister Tingxue’s compliment.”

Zu An couldn’t be bothered to join their conversation, so he made his way to the window and saw many similar elevators descending at the same time. The journey was so smooth that he wouldn’t have known that they were descending if he hadn’t looked outside.

Dreamland must be a technological civilization. It would take advanced technology to construct such amazing systems. They might even be ahead of those advanced civilizations I saw in sci-fi films from my previous life.

It would have been great if he could have scrutinized Dreamland in its entirety from above, but the iridescent lights and clouds hindered him from doing so. No wonder so little is known about Dreamland. They're truly secretive.

The further they descended, the thicker the fog became. It came to a point where they couldn’t see the scenery outside anymore. Zu An decided to sit down on a chair.

Firework continued chatting with Tingxue, though she did most of the talking. Zu An wondered how she could hold so many words in that little mouth of hers.

There was a slight shake, and the elevator door opened.

“Esteemed guests, welcome to Dreamland!”

Staff members were already waiting outside.

Zu An and the others stepped out of the elevator. They were probably at a transport hub to receive guests from the space elevator and transport them to their final destination.

“Esteemed guests, we have three hotel styles for you to choose from—the fiery beach, the serene mountain, and the fleeting clouds. May I know which one you prefer?” the staff member said with a smile.

Zu An frowned. “Don’t all guests stay together?”

“We understand every guest has their individual preferences, so we’re doing our best to fulfill our guests’ needs within the scope of our abilities,” the staff member replied. “Be assured that the hotel style only determines the location and environment of your stay. You’ll receive the same service and information.”

They understood what the guests were worried about.

“It has to be the fiery beach for me,” Firework said with glowing eyes.

“Alright.” The staff member turned to Tingxue and Zu An. “What about you two?”

“I choose...”

Firework interjected before Tingxue could finish her sentence. “Big sister Tingxue is with us. She’ll be taking the beach too.”

Tingxue opened her mouth, but she didn’t refute Firework’s words in the end. Someone of her nature would have preferred the mountain or the clouds, but for some reason, she instinctively didn’t want to pick the clouds. She'd been about to pick the mountain when Firework chose on her behalf.

It was all the same for her, so she couldn’t be bothered to argue.

Zu An chuckled. “I’ll pick the beach too.”

Firework grinned brightly.

“This way, please.”

The staff member led them out of the building and onto a convertible jeep. Looking at the brilliant sun and the tropical forest, Zu An had a bizarre sensation of having returned to his previous life.

Firework stood up, raised her arms, and cheered in excitement.

The staff member driving the jeep didn’t stop her despite her seemingly dangerous actions. These guests were all experts from all over the Myriad Worlds. They would emerge unfazed even if a massive truck crashed into them.

Unaccustomed to Firework’s rowdiness, Tingxue shifted to the side, which brought her closer to Zu An. Her cold aura cooled the scorching weather for him.

Zu An sighed. He had experienced something similar from Yan Xuehen and Chu Chuyan, and he couldn’t help but wonder when they would be reunited. He turned to the staff member driving the jeep and asked, “I heard Dreamland has the power to fulfill wishes. May I know where I can gather more information about this?”

He wanted to know if he could save Chu Chuyan, and if so, what price he would have to pay.

“There’s no rush. Please have a rest at the hotel first. We’ll make arrangements accordingly once our big miss’ coming-of-age ceremony concludes,” the staff member replied with a smile.

“Big miss?” Zu An was surprised.

“Yes, she’s the doted-on daughter of the incumbent master of Dreamland. She’ll be reaching adulthood in a few days. It coincides with your arrival, so you can attend her coming-of-age ceremony, too.”

Zu An frowned. He had no interest in Dreamland’s big miss. If anything, he was unhappy that he was getting delayed over this matter.

Firework, on the other hand, was hyped. “Is your big miss beautiful?”

The staff member was stoked to receive that question. “Our big miss is the most beautiful woman in Dreamland!”

“Oh? Is she as beautiful as our big sister?” Firework hugged Tingxue’s arm as she asked.

The staff member glanced at Tingxue via her rearview mirror and was enchanted. “She’s as beautiful as this esteemed guest.”

“Tsk. You’re just giving me the politically correct answer.” Firework harrumphed in disbelief.

The staff member quickly changed the topic to not offend her. “Our big miss will be conducting Dreamland’s rite after her coming-of-age ceremony. She’ll answer your questions then.”

Zu An could tell that Dreamland had planned it as such, as there was no point in probing now. I’ll have to wait for that rite or something.

The jeep soon arrived at the seaside. Dashing men and beautiful ladies sunbathed on the beach. It was a beautiful sight.

Firework whistled. “I made the right choice. Let’s play at the beach once we settle into our rooms.”

Zu An’s eyebrows shot up when he thought about Firework and Tingxue wearing bikinis. That made his heart pump vigorously. No wonder they say all men are pig trotters.

Tingxue frowned, but she didn’t respond either. She wasn’t too interested in this matter.

The jeep stopped before a hotel. Looking at the extravagant hotel, Firework murmured, “It’s a bit tacky, but I like how bling-blingy it is.”

Zu An was awed by the hotel’s size. Even with his divine sense, he couldn’t perceive its entirety. It was almost as if this hotel were a world of its own.

“This way, please.” The staff member stepped forward to lead the way. “Please take your invitation letter to the receptionist to register.”

Right as they entered the hotel, a commotion broke out in front of them. A guest was fumbling around while exclaiming, “Someone stole my invitation letter!”
