Apart from Li Yanfeng, none of them knew that they were secretly working with sky plunderers. All of them believed that it was merely a coincidence that their imperator's supernaturally sharp instincts caused them to attack at such an opportune moment. Imperator Ji's expression turned cold and calm once more as she turned to him. "Li Tianming, the Adjudicator now has justification to wipe out the sky plunderers now that you've conspired with the firemaples to kill Lin Xiaoting and trigger a civil war in Violetblitz Starcage!"

"Bullshit," Tianming said, face filled with disdain. "Were you blind? Lin Xiaoting came at me and tried to kill me. I don't care how or why this civil war happened. He came for my life, so I ended his life! Were you expecting me to get killed without resisting?"

Li Tianzi proclaimed, "What Tianming did was perfectly legitimate self-defense. It had nothing to do with instigating any war."

"Your excuses won't matter! The Adjudicator will be the final one to call the shots!" Imperator Ji snapped.

At that moment, the angry roar of an imperator shook the entire capital. Imperator Jian had finally noticed that his son was slain. "Xiaoting! My Son!"

Imperator Jian had not just lost his father long ago, but even his son was taken from him! One could only imagine the rage he felt.
