Chapter 4490 - The Strange Flower Buds
Generally speaking, cosmic gods from imperial-class worlds rarely left their home territories.
There was only one possibility for Prince Liehun: he was still clinging to the dream that the Adjudicator could turn the situation around.
When that time came, he would return with the subordinates he had taken with him and reclaim control of the Vermilion Bird Starcage.
“We can ignore them for now. They’re just defeated rabble. Even the Adjudicator probably doesn’t care about them,” Li Yanfeng said with a smile. He then looked at Tianming with admiration. “Tianming, I truly didn’t expect you to single-handedly kill Yueling Long. Even I felt terrified by Yueling Long’s aura after she drank the Adjudicator’s blood!”
“The key was the dazzling radiances from Violetblitz.” Tianming glanced around, his gaze lingering briefly on Jiang Qingluan. “This victory belongs to everyone.”
Feeling the warm atmosphere around her, Jiang Qingluan was deeply moved. She could no longer hold back. She stepped forward and wrapped her arms tightly around Tianming. “Tianming... thank you.”
She knew that Tianming had taken an enormous risk coming to help her and the Vermilion Bird Starcage. Although they had ultimately won and everything had turned out safely, she would never forget what Tianming had done.
Tianming, however, felt rather helpless when he felt the warmth and softness touching him. However, he didn’t push Jiang Qingluan away, only patting her on the back.
As for whether Xian Xian might carve something else onto the tree trunk again, there was no helping that. After all, that trunk already had plenty of carvings. Tianming simply gave up worrying about it.
Soon, Jiang Qingluan wiped her tears, stepped back, and released him. She smiled at him. “All right. Since we’ve won this battle, let’s celebrate first. Later, you should go back and see your wife.”
Seeing how decisively she withdrew, Tianming said nothing further.
Thus everyone grew excited, celebrating and cleaning up the battlefield.
Only the high-level leaders, Tianming and the others, gathered outside the starcage, looking at the scars wrought by the battle.
This place had become the burial ground of countless cosmic gods and even six imperatores. It wasn’t an exaggeration to call it the most intense war the Realm of Chaos had seen in a million years.
Fortunately, the war was over for now, and perhaps a brief peace would follow.
Li Yanfeng said thoughtfully, “Actually, as long as the Adjudicator and that other existence are absent, the sky plunderers could already control the entire universe.”
Everyone nodded in agreement. Various imperatores were already dead, and those remaining all belonged to the sky-plunderer camp.
The Yueling Starcage, Aquamarine Starcage, Torch Dragon Starcage, and the violetblitzians were also now leaderless, posing no further threat.
“The main issue is that the Adjudicator and that other one will definitely not let this go,” Imperator Cheng surmised. “We must take every step cautiously, not leaving them any opportunity. Unless necessary, it would be best if none of us showed ourselves, in case we’re suddenly attacked.”
Tianming nodded solemnly. “That’s right. The Adjudicator can no longer wage war with armies, so he can only act personally. Our elites should gather at Nullity to prevent him from picking us off one by one.”
“I think that works,” Li Yanfeng said with a laugh. “It’s not the first time anyway. Returning to Nullity feels like going home.”
Imperator Cheng thought for a moment before agreeing. “Then we’ll go too. It's better than staying here and risking being attacked once the enemy regroups.”
Hearing this, Jiang Qingluan felt a little awkward. She glanced at Tianming and said with a sigh, “Then... let’s go.”
She had just bade Tianming farewell, but now she would end up returning “home” with him again.
Li Muyang and Li Tianzi quickly arranged everything.
Li Yanfeng and Imperator Cheng spent the next few days making preparations to bring along their most trusted subordinates to Nullity. Aside from preventing the Adjudicator from eliminating them individually, they also had plans that required them to gather together. Those plans concerned the dazzling radiances, which would play a key role in shaping the future.

At the far edges of the Realm of Chaos lay a chaotic world shrouded in endless white mist. A green flower bloomed amid its shattered lands, radiating both vibrant life and an eerie aura.
Within the flower, hidden in swirling mist, lay a breathtakingly beautiful woman whose form could not be clearly seen.
Eight green flower buds had also appeared in that massive green flower over one million meters wide. Each bud was more than one hundred thousand meters in size, full of vitality just like the main flower. Strange green patterns spread across their entire surfaces shifting continuously, forming countless different shapes that contained mysterious and unfathomable power. It was an eerie and unsettling sight.
Suddenly, a green leaf broke through the white mist, carrying with it fragments of middlekin astrons which it sprinkled over the eight green buds. The buds began to bloom, and colossal bodies over one hundred thousand meters tall formed within one after another.
They were unmistakably the imperatores who had recently been killed in the Realm of Chaos. The four Yueling imperatores, Yueling Long, Yueling Ji, Yueling Tu, and Yueling Tong, all appeared here. Also present were Imperator Lan of Aquamarine, Imperator Zhu of Torch Dragon, Imperator Jian of Violetblitz, and even Lin Xiaoting.
A total of eight imperator or quasi–imperator figures had eerily re-formed. However, all of them had their eyes closed. They were entirely emerald green, growing out of the flower buds as though human and plant had fused together. The bizarre scene was enough to make one’s scalp tingle.
