A similar majestic project had been done during Heaven Pit. Heavenfall and Dusk presided over it.

“Closing the entrances first before beating the dogs?” One immortal said: “After all, they got the whole alliance gathered in there, a truly rare opportunity.”

“What are they doing?” Down in Stygian, Big-foot Immortal had the same question.

“Trying to trap us.” Immortal Devourer’s eyes lit brightly, checking the entire wall.

“So be it, they can’t keep it up forever and will have to attack eventually.” Mirage laughed.

Those who had slumbered didn’t mind this at all since they had no plan of leaving Stygian. The dark power here was rather comfortable for a long hibernation.

“They’ll attack soon, it’s to seal escape paths.” Controller had a bad feeling about this.

“We will see who will be the ones running.” Immortal Devourer uttered coldly.

“It is our chance to wash away the humiliation at Grand Thousand World.” Fire Immortal said murderously.

“That’s right, we have the advantages this time.” Extinguish and last-gen cultivators nodded.

Being surrounded on both sides forced Zhao Dachui to retreat. This defeat changed their strategy entirely. Instead of direct invasion, they chose to hide and slumber for the right moment in numerous worlds.

In the aftermath, Grand Thousand Beast - who was on the verge of death - handed his world to Guardian Alliance. They gained incredible resources to build a larger defense around Heaven Desolace.

The immortals from Stygian became restless upon remembering this defeat.

“In my opinion, we can’t let them carry out their plan. We must break the seal before it is formed. Waiting is unwise.” Controller, the strategist, had a different view than everyone else.

“Why? We have an absolute advantage in Stygian.” Immortal Devourer disagreed.
