Emperor’s Domination

Chapter 6895: Who’s The Dog?

Chapter 6895: Who’s The Dog?

Immortal Devourer’s comment stemmed from previous battles when Guardian Alliance failed to conquer Stygian.

“It’s far tougher to fight outside of Stygian, let them come and die just like before.” Fire Immortal agreed.

He remembered how unstoppable Immortal Emperor Min Ren was while dashing through their ranks. Finally, Mang appeared to stop him.

With their leader dead afterward, Guardian Alliance had to retreat from Stygian, unable to maintain the push.

“We’ll be stuck here like dogs after the barrier is finished.” Controller shook his head.

“If they come, we’ll close the gates too and they’ll be the dogs under our grand momentum.” Immortal Devourer said.

“Right, we can modify the seal and use it against them, they won’t be able to leave like before.” Immortal Devourer said.

“It’s not out of the question.” Fire Immortal agreed.

“It can’t be this simple, there must be a reason why they’re doing this.” Controller said.

“We aren’t their only enemies. Perhaps they are preventing us from stabbing in the back when they attack Heaven Assault.” God Messenger said.

“If that’s the case, it’s a good opportunity for us. We wait for war between them and then break the wall.” Devouring Lord said.

“This is an opportunity indeed. If they don’t attack, we can slumber and grow stronger.” Fire Immortal said.

“Your Highness, what is your read on this?” Controller asked the cultivator on the throne.

Guangmai was fixated on the world’s heart and occasionally, Li Qiye. The question made him glance at the wall outside.

From start to finish, his focus was not on defending against the incoming attack.

“If they are in no hurry, neither are we for a better strategy.” Guangmai said.

“I fear that everything will be too late then.” Controller said: “We should still seize the initiative.”

“What if this is their ploy to bait us out?” Guangmai said.

“That would make sense because they were defeated last time on our territory. Leaving Stygian means falling into their trap.” Immortal Devourer said.

“We should focus on using the grand momentum to build stronger arrays. We’ll capture them if they invade.” Fire Immortal said.

This appeared to be the consensus of the crowd. None wanted to leave Stygian since it was the safest here. Even in the case of defeat, they would be able to hide in the darkness.

“Your Highness, perhaps we could just destroy the seal as they build it, wasting their time.” Controller said.

“That’s doable.” Fire Immortal said since this didn’t require leaving Stygian.

All eyes were on Guangmai who had a smile. In reality, he didn’t care much about Guardian’s goal.

“The urgent matter right now is not Guardian or that wall.” He said.

“What is it?” Immortal Devourer asked.

“We must capture the world’s heart first.” He pointed in the heart’s direction.

The immortals and overlords gazed at Golden Lamp while salivating, unable to resist the temptation of life force. However, none of them was confident in seizing it from Golden Lamp.

This was some overlords’ first time seeing Golden Lamp and the world’s heart.

“This is more than enough to fill us up if we split it.” Immortal Devourer said.

Among their group, he might have devoured the highest number of immortals. The ancient immortals, such as Controller, had never ventured outside to devour due to the risk.

Immortal Devourer, on the other hand, only started after the rules of Gu Chun. This permitted infighting for the more powerful cultivators. Many speculated that he had devoured some missing immortals from their alliance.

“Is that all you know? All this time enduring just to eat?” Guangmai glared at him.

This remark left him in an awkward spot.

“Of course not.” He smiled wryly.

“Is there more to it than just a majestic life force?” God Messenger asked.
