Omen Path was a labyrinth. One wrong step meant entering another domain or another world. There was only one constant - fatal danger even for overlords.

Thus, the immortal realm was a minimum requirement. Till Ancestor met this requirement and made his way inside, not dodging the dangers.

They landed in a primal forest with towering trees. They couldn’t see the sky due to the branches and leaves. However, light was still present due to the stars circling these incredible trees.

“Whoosh!” Flowers on the ground suddenly shot spores at them, draining and killing any creature unfortunate enough to be struck.

This was when Till Ancestor’s pouches came into play. They released sweet fragrances and burned the spores.

“Not an illusion.” Mo Xiangsheng’s expression darkened: “These corpse-spore trees can latch onto anything.”

At first, he assumed this place was just an illusion. It turned out to be otherwise.

“A celestial immortal’s body can turn into worlds. Corrupted blood can become dangerous grounds as well.” Till Ancestor said.

“Right.” He nodded and said: “That’s what happened to Dusk. Wait, if Omen Path was only a tiny part of Heavenfall, how dangerous would Dusk Realm be?”

“Scared? Not too late to turn back.” Till Ancestor said.

“Haha, don’t scare me, Senior. I haven’t heard of warnings about Dusk Realm, only Heavenfall Path and Omen Path.” He laughed.

“Heavenfall’s body didn’t die entirely, hence leftover malice. Dusk, on the other hand, was a clean death, so that place is a paradise.” Till Ancestor said.

“So that’s something good regarding a clean death.” He murmured.

“Good for other people, yes.” Till Ancestor said.

“Senior, it must be a terrible feeling to watch a corrupted death. I definitely prefer a clean one for myself, not needing epochs of purification.” He said.

“Hmph.” Till Ancestor snorted and didn’t say anything else.

Suddenly, they heard creaks as if a gigantic iron door was being pushed open. This world became darker than before.

“What is happening?” Mo Xiangsheng activated his heavenly gaze after sensing a threat.

“Damn!” He saw something resembling a dragon or a serpent coiling around this world. It was long enough to make several rounds around it. Moreover, its body was sticky with black liquid dripping down.

“What is this, senior?” He asked before pulling Li Qiye closer: “Hide behind me, don’t move.”

“Earthmarrow dark dragon.” Till Ancestor summoned a radiant crescent saber, capable of reaping worlds.

“I’ve never seen it before.” He said.

“Of course, it was Heavenfall’s foot tendon. Okay, no more talking.” Till Ancestor said.

“Raa!” The dragon roared, revealing a lack of teeth. Instead, it had muscular tentacles shooting out and blotting out the sky.

“Die!” Till Ancestor slashed and illuminated the world temporarily, cutting down all the tentacles while targeting the dragon’s mouth.

“Ooo!” The dragon bellowed from pain, realizing it was facing a formidable foe. Thus, it let go of this world and escaped.

“Amazing, you can slice three thousand worlds and all foes from such a long distance.” Mo Xiangsheng praised.

“No need to flatter me.” TIll Ancestor said.

“Haha, I’m just telling the truth. I’m sure if you ever want to, Farming Society will follow your commands.” He continued.

The trio continued directly, forcing their way through Omen Path.

“Senior, we’re not taking the winding path?” Mo Xiangsheng asked.

“Why would we?” Till Ancestor responded.

“Isn’t it the safest path? The brat from the nine worlds used it to reach Dusk Realm. I’m sure you can find it in just a short time.” He said.

“Waste of time, other immortals will reach Dusk Realm way before us. We won’t even have a spot to stand then.” Till Ancestor said.

“Makes sense since you can sweep through anything, the direct path is the fastest.” He understood.

“Did you flatter your way into becoming an overlord?” Till Ancestor remarked, prompting a chuckle from Li Qiye.

He turned red and glared at Li Qiye: “Why are you laughing? If flattery is a dao, then there would be overlords everywhere.”
