Mythical Era: My Evolution into a Celestial Beast

Chapter 1080: Void Creation Transformation Tearing the True Spirit Apart (I)

By late March of 2027, spring had returned to the land. Everything brimmed with vitality, though there were far more mutated creatures roaming the wilds than before. Outside Wujiang City, two energy fighter jets streaked across the sky. Soon, violent explosions and bursts of fire erupted above, mingled with roars and howls.

"Mutated beasts seem to be getting more common these days." At dusk, by the riverside, Zhang Xiaolan, who had come out for a stroll after dinner, looked up at the mutilated corpse of a mutated beast falling from the heavens and sighed with emotion. Two years ago, mutated creatures had still felt like a distant menace, something ordinary folk would almost never encounter.

Beside her, Shi Feitong, dressed casually in a white T-shirt and jeans and appearing no different from an ordinary girl with black hair falling to her shoulders, smiled and said, "They're only low-level creatures, Auntie, you don't need to worry about them."

"By the way, Little Tong, aren't you busy? Why do you come to keep this idler company every day?" Zhang Xiaolan asked curiously.

Chen Chu had only ever told her that Shi Feitong was a friend of his; he never explained her true identity or how powerful she was. However, anyone who could call the present-day Chen Chu a friend was clearly no ordinary figure. During the month Chen Chu had remained in seclusion, Shi Feitong had often come to visit Zhang Xiaolan. Over time, the two of them had grown quite close.

Shi Feitong smiled lightly. "I am busy, Auntie. But my only task right now is to wait until Big Brother Chen comes out of seclusion. I have something important to hand over to him."

"So that's how it is," Zhang Xiaolan said, suddenly enlightened.

While Chen Hu ventured into the mythical world, and Shi Feitong spent her days chatting with Zhang Xiaolan...

Deep within the sun, a pair of eyes, one golden-black and the other golden-white, slowly opened. Even the scorching matter ahead was twisted out of existence by their gaze, vanishing without a sound.

This seclusion had lasted longer than Chen Chu expected, nearly a month and a half. By now, he had fused the Supreme Power principle with the true planar world and merged it into his true form, and his cultivation had stepped fully into the peak of the ancient titan level. Of course, because of the unique nature of the Primordial Genesis principle, he was still just a step away from the true spirit level.

This time, however, he had awakened because of a faint premonition of danger. It was an instinct warning him that something had its eyes on the slumbering Destructive Dragon Emperor.

The once dim and oppressive Chaotic Region, where storms had raged without end, was now bathed in magnificent radiance, transformed into something like a legendary paradise. Above the sky, within a seven-colored vortex spanning a million kilometers, a chaotic light-egg hundreds of thousands of kilometers across pulsed. It shrank and expanded as if alive, endlessly drawing in and exhaling the boundless power of heaven and earth.

The oppressive might pervading the world silenced everything. Even the Chaotic Sea, once roaring with tsunamis thousands of meters high, now lay calm as a mirror, shimmering in multicolored light.

Wooo!

In the sky drifted a colossal Kunpeng, more than 2,400 meters long, its body broad and armored in black scales. With wings spread wide, it cast a vast shadow as it glided.

From the ocean below, the Deep Sea Dragon Turtle, as massive as a yellow-brown mountain peak, lifted its head and growled in displeasure.Big Horn is so proud just because he broke through to the titan level first

Not far away, coiled around an iceberg, the Nine-Headed Dragon Ghidorah lifted all nine heads and bellowed in overlapping discord.Damn that guy! It's been circling this place for more than a day-cycle. Even if it wants to show off, hasn't it had enough already?

Ghidorah, let's go. Ignore it.With a deep roar, the Dragon Turtle sank beneath the waves, sending up a mountain of spray.

Boom!

The iceberg shattered as the Nine-Headed Dragon's immense body dove into the depths, disappearing alongside the Dragon Turtle.

Wooo!

High above, the Single-Horned Kunpeng gave a triumphant cry, spread its wings, and continued circling the Dragon Palace, exuding the aura of a titan.

Meanwhile, within a rugged ancient city on an island thousands of kilometers away, the Longjia King—2,800 meters in length, with her upper body rising a kilometer tall, human-headed with a serpentine body—stood high while countless Longjia bowed in worship. Today was the Longjia Race's sacred day of praise. All Longjia aliens offered chants of devotion to Alicia, their supreme ruler. Even the Ancient Giant Clams that had lived alongside their race surfaced, opening shells hundreds of meters wide like enormous fans.

Across the sea, mythical colossal beasts leapt skyward, bellowing thunderously. The scene evoked the wilderness of primeval times, vast, mysterious, and filled with awe. This was the empire of colossal beasts. Unlike the ordered civilization of humanity or the structured societies of alien races, here there were no wars of conquest. Each beast simply did as it pleased, roaming wherever it chose.

Even the ancient-titan-level dragon kings had each claimed their own regions tens of thousands of kilometers apart. Around them, the power of principles twisted nature itself, freezing the land into glacial wastelands or boiling it into molten hells, reshaping the world into habitats suited to their might.

This was the strength of the ancient titans. They bent nature to their will, altering heaven and earth to form their dwelling places. Now, as the beasts in all directions waited solemnly for their king to awaken...

At the very edge of the seven-colored vortex, tens of thousands of kilometers above the ground, in the thin depths of space, a pair of eyes glimmering with greed and bloodlust appeared.

With the Dragon Emperor's breakthrough refining the power of heaven and earth, the very space within the range of the Chaotic End principle had grown fragile, the world's laws stretched thin. That enormous chaotic light-egg, spanning over a hundred thousand kilometers, pierced the mythical world's material space so completely that even the depths of the void shone with its brilliance.

Such a grand spectacle had naturally drawn the attention of countless void monsters. Even those void monsters, driven only by the instincts of destruction, slaughter, contamination, and madness, shrank back in fear before that dreadful aura of annihilation, not daring to approach.

At last, however, a true-spirit-level Void King had been drawn to the scene. In the twisted darkness of the void floated a massive creature, more than two thousand kilometers long. Around it surged a dreadful black power that warped everything like a bottomless black hole.

It resembled a colossal upright bear, its frame vast and burly. Its entire body was covered in black fur strands hundreds of kilometers long, drifting like seaweed. Upon its head writhed over a dozen black tentacles, each hundreds of kilometers in length. They twisted like venomous serpents as they probed into the void, adding to its hideousness.

Its gaze fixed greedily on the chaotic light-egg that pierced the void, endlessly expanding and contracting. Yet soon the monster shifted its eyes, peering through the fragile spatial rifts around the light-egg, down toward the beasts below.

Even though the Dragon Emperor's aura remained dormant, the void monster still felt a primal dread. Instead it turned its hunger toward the ancient-titan-level dragon kings and titans below. The rich vitality, the thick aura of life within their flesh and blood, was irresistible to void creatures.

Kill. Eat.The hateful growl echoed across the void as the enormous creature stirred. With a thunderous motion, it began to rise toward the material world, the thin spatial layers along its path collapsing into fragments.

In the depths of the translucent river of time, a beast coiled upon a tributary suddenly opened its eyes. Its gaze twisted the flow of time and space, locking upon the void creature that was descending into the material realm.

The temporal true spirit's eyes were cold, tinged with faint mockery.Foolish thing, daring to provoke that monster.

Around the Chaotic Sea, other ancient titans stirred. The Colossal Magma Dragon lying in molten oceans, the Ancient Ray-Beast drifting in the gray currents, and the other ancient titans hidden in the black currents all lifted their heads.

Boom!

At the edge of the seven-colored vortex, space shattered, leaving a hollow tens of thousands of kilometers wide. Immense rifts spread for over a hundred thousand kilometers. Endless streams of void energy erupted, cascading like a cosmic river to engulf all things.

From the depths of that darkness, the massive form of the void monster emerged, a true-spirit-level pressure flooding outward. However, unlike the Five-Colored True Spirit they once encountered, this void monster exuded a force mixed with something that instinctively filled every trembling beast with fear.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

One after another, the mythical-level and titan-level colossal beasts flying in the air buckled, crashing into the sea below. Even the boastful Kunpeng, which had flaunted itself for over a month, plummeted with a resounding crash.

Bang!

Far away, in the blazing magma ocean, the Magma Dragon spread its wings with a furious roar.A void creature has descended! We must not allow it to disturb the king!

Damn wretch, daring to provoke the Dragon Palace. Everyone, attack! The Ancient Ray-Beast bellowed.

Roar!

From a frozen mountain range spanning ten thousand kilometers, the Azure-White Colossal Dragon roared. Without hesitation, it unleashed a storm of black ice-crystals and shot skyward.

Though only at the beginning stage of the ancient titan level, it showed no fear. However, the Time Dragon dwelling in a rift of time started in alarm, roaring as its immense body burst out from the temporal gap and warping time as it pursued.
