Pei Lingxi let that sink into the others, the masked cultivator was going to pick his saber and knife so they had some time to discuss.

Others weren't really that dumb, the fact that this masked cultivator was able to create a situation where they were saved by him meant their lives were in his hands.

Whenever he wanted he could kill them. The only thing that was saving them was their storage rings, once they lost their rings then their deaths were certain.

"What should we do...." Lian Zhi was finally scared, dying was a thought which might break even old mighty cultivators, much less someone like her.

Pei Lingxi sighed, "There is only one way which I can think of, kill the snake as quickly as possible, once it was killed, the test would be over and he won't be able to use any excuse to target us"

"So should we just bombard it with attacks?" One of the male disciples asked.

Pei Lingxi shook her head, "No, first we have to group together and occupy the center of the arena it is the only place which won't be affected much by swaying and because of that we can easily balance ourselves even when attacking, in fact do it right now.. come here first"

Others didn't question her decision and immediately grouped and moved towards her from the edges as in the middle the masked cultivator was retrieving his weapons and the snake was doing everything in its power to swallow him.

When they all grouped up, Pei Lingxi took a little breath of relief, "Let's move towards the center and prepare your attacks for the time being, half of us will attack it and the other half will hold our attacks for the next round when others will rest.

Most of the time we will be closest to the beast so, it will always attack us, this is a little dangerous but if we can manage to attack constantly in pairs of half and manage to hold it then it would die of injuries."

After saying all this Pei Lingxi looked towards her left side, "Sister Bai, I think you should join us too?"

Bai Lian thought for a second and shook her head, "I will attack the beast from here, don't worry about me I have a good movement technique" she wasn't lying her lightning flow technique was quite fast.

Pei Lingxi nodded, it would have been better if Bai Lian was with them, but it was not much issue if she wasn't.

Bai Lian shook her head internally, how things change so fast. All of these disciples were quite confident to kill Lin Feng but now they were trying their best to just survive.

She had to admit that Pei Lingxi really was quite smart, she still was able to figure out the best solution to save themselves. Her logic was indeed simple and effective but against Lin Feng she doubted it would work.

She had a feeling that he would definitely do something which would make the situation worse for the Yin Yang Harmony sect. She could see that his expression hadn't changed listening to Pei Lingxi at all.

After collecting his weapons Lin Feng didn't use the snake's strength to put distance from it. Instead he just kept dodging and moving towards the group of disciples.

Looking at that Pei Lingxi and others became stunned.

Lin Feng shook his head while walking towards them casually, "What a shame, I just wanted your storage rings so that I could create some proper burial for you guys after your deaths, but it seems like you guys didn't like my idea, ohh... well, let's just end this facade, shall we"

Lin Feng had to say that Pei Lingxi was really quite calm throughout everything, she was able to keep others organised too. These were good traits to have, he was thinking if he could use her to work for him in the Yin Yang Harmony sect after he left.

While thinking Lin Feng moved closer and closer to the group of disciples.

Pei Lingxi fell into a dilemma seeing that, she didn't know if attacking towards the beast right now would count as a direct attack on this cultivator. If the cultivator was behind the beast then it wouldn't have been a problem if their attacks hit him in case the snake dodged them.

Right now though, this cultivator was in front and so the attack would basically count for him.

"Just maintain distance from him", since they couldn't attack they could only maintain proper distance from him.

The movement of the masked cultivator was slow for them as he was dodging the attacks, so it wasn't hard to maintain distance from him.

Lin Feng again shook his head, suddenly he dashed and arrived beside Pei Lingxi.

The disciples were too stunned to think properly, they weren't even able to clearly see the masked cultivator move, he was just too fast.

This was enough to make them understand that this masked cultivator was either hiding his cultivation realm somehow or an existence which they weren't able to understand.

No matter which possibility it was, it wasn't good for them. Just as they were too shocked, the beast which wasn't moving slower since it wasn't attacking Lin Feng entered the striking range from the whole group.

The disciples became conscious about the snake but it was already too late, forget about being able to attack the snake to make it move away, they couldn't even form their attacks.

Lin Feng wasn't closest to the snake so it targeted one of the male disciples who was closest from it and this time Lin Feng decided to not save the disciple for the ring...

SNAPPPP

A cracking sound was heard as the snake jaws clenched around the disciple. He wasn't even able to react much less scream before getting swallowed.

Pei Lingxi trembled but she immediately got hold of herself, "ATTACK AND MOVE"

All the disciples immediately attacked instinctively listening to her yelling. If they didn't then the snake would have attacked someone else when it had finished eating the previous disciple...
