Everybody looked at Syrelle, Corey, and Pamela with strange expressions when they saw the three of them gathered together, and especially after Syrelle's words.
"It seems they have a plan." Klaus said with a light smirk while crossing his arms.
"I wonder what it is." Pope Arzhel said, and then he yawned while covering his mouth. "I'm bored. Can we end this quickly."
Klaus looked at the pope with a strange expression. "I heard that amongst the four temples, you're the most enigmatic Pope, and you don't behave like a Pope most times."
Pope Arzhel chuckled with a smirk. "And you forgot to add that I'm the most dangerous and powerful."
"You know you're a very ruthless man, right?" Klaus looked at him with slightly narrowed eyes.
Pope Arzhel shrugged. "I've heard worse."
"The queen is about to make a move."
A new voice entered into their conversation, and both Klaus and Pope Arzhel looked at Azhrun, the prince of the Supreme Sea Kingdom.
He gestured at Queen Nerith with a bored and nonchalant expression, and they also looked back at the queen.
Their attention had been on Corey and Pamela, and if they were been sincere, they were not so bothered about the queen. With all the preparations they made, they knew that they could handle the queen without grave losses.
"What's that?" Klaus narrowed his eyes as he looked at a disc Queen Nerith brought out from thin air.
The disc was silver, and it was constantly emitting a golden glow as it hovered above Queen Nerith's hands.
Pope Arzhel narrowed his eyes, and a tinge of suspicion flashed in his eyes at first before it turned to realization.
"She wants to escape." He said with an utterly calm tone and expression despite the gravity of his words.
However, Klaus and Pierro were not so calm after hearing his words.
"What? That's not possible." Klaus shook his head, not believing such a thing was possible.
Although the shell world pearl he had used was not the best of the best in the Supreme God Empire, it was not a low grade shell world pearl in the slightest.
And to hear that the Queen who had been deprived of her biggest advantage- her connection to the world tree, had the ability to break free of the shell world?
It was impossible in his mind.
"She cannot be allowed to leave." Pierro, the vice leader of the Freedom Fighters said with a grave tone.
"Stop her." He looked at Klaus with a solemn expression, and Klaus frowned for a moment.
Indecision filled his mind, and just as he was about to give the order to the two Immortals of the Empire, Queen Nerith threw the disc far into the distance behind her.
The disc spun in the air at a speed that not even Corey and Pamela could follow. In the blink of an eye, it stopped midair in front of nothing, and then it began spinning on the spot.
Klaus' eyes narrowed at first in confusion, but then his eyes widened in shock and realization when he saw where the disc had stopped.
"The barrier!" He shouted, and then he looked at the two Immortals in the sky. "Stop that thing!"
The moment he said the word, 'stop', the Immortals moved.
None could follow their movements, and when Corey blinked as he stared at the rapidly spinning disc, an extremely powerful shockwave sent him flying.
Boom!
None could react, and everybody aside from the Titans was sent flying as Queen Nerith and Orynthia blocked the attacks of the two Immortals.
The barrier that protected the army of Klaus and the Freedom Fighters shattered into pieces as the remnant immortal mana from the clash blasted the shield into pieces.
Even the Titans who were not sent flying away sustained slight injuries from the shockwaves of the attacks. But these injuries were nothing to them.
As for Corey, Pamela, Jeremy, and the others.
They were protected from the remnant immortal mana by Syrelle, however, the shockwave still sent them flying because she was too slow in reacting.
Corey tumbled a few times, but he eventually stopped himself, and got to his feet. He looked at Syrelle who placed her hands in front of her to prevent the shockwaves along with the immortal mana from reaching them.
A tinge of suspicion flashed in his eyes, but he ignored it and looked at Pamela.
When he saw that she was okay, he shifted his gaze back to the disc.
His eyes flickered when he saw that a hole was appearing in the air where the disc spun, and it was getting larger at a visible pace.
He looked at Pamela. "Let's go."
She nodded, and then lightning appeared on their bodies.
Black lightning appeared around Corey's feet, and white lightning appeared around Pamela's entire body.
Clap!
A loud thunderclap resounded in the air as both Corey and Pamela vanished and ran in the direction of the disc.
"Stop them!"
They heard the roar of Klaus, but they didn't bother turning to look.
To the shock of everybody that knew nothing about the duo, Corey and Pamela moved at a pace that made it difficult for some Tier 5s and Tier 6s to follow.
As they ran toward the disc, they had to dodge and weave around some remnant attacks and energies that could cause them serious injuries.
At the speed they were moving, such a thing should be difficult for them, but the control they had over their bodies was nigh-perfect.
As they ran side by side, dodging, weaving, and running on rubbles that appeared in their path, and also near the shattered and deformed ground where the four Immortals were clashing, they looked like two flashing lights that could sunder everything apart.
Another light suddenly appeared in their middle, and this light had a silver color to it.
Corey and Pamela looked to their middle, and when they saw Syrelle running in between them, they nodded at her.
Choosing to keep her shock and disbelief to herself, she ran ahead of the duo and jumped into the hole that had appeared in the sky, and Corey and Pamela followed.
However, what everybody failed to realize was that Corey's shadow was slightly longer and distorted than normal.
