Rayen nodded and peeked inside through the window. There was no one around.

"Yeo Haru isn't here," Rayen said, stepping back. "Let's go somewhere else."

If Yeo Haru wasn't here, he should be in the only other place that Rayen could think of. He led the others to the pool area with familiarity.

Along the way, they encountered strange things.

"Are those students?" Mr. Big News asked, pointing at the paper figures ahead.

"I think they are..." Rayen responded.

The paper figures looked like a simple paper cut-out of a human silhouette. They walked about the corridor, their limbs flailing with every step. There was a tear in their heads, and whenever they spoke, it would open and close just like how a mouth would be. On their left chest, their names were also written.

When the 'students' noticed Rayen's group, they only briefly glanced at them before resuming with what they were doing. The two groups did not bother with each other.

Eventually, the members of SEEDZ found their way outside the building. However, just like their agency's portal, the outside world was made up of swirling darkness. The group moved forward until they encountered a double glass door at the end of the darkness.

"There's a door!" Xi Huan pointed, before running ahead of everyone.

Without waiting for anyone, Xi Huan pushed the door by herself and entered. The others ran after her, but before they could fully enter, they heard Xi Huan's shrill scream.

"AHHHHH!!!"

Immediately, everyone hurried their steps.

Once they entered, the smell of chlorine clung to their nose. Suddenly, Xi Huan leaped out and jumped toward the first person that entered — Iris.

Due to the sudden action, Iris also couldn't hold herself back and joined her screaming frenzy.

"AHHHHHH!!!"

The two fake men hugged each other tightly. While in Iris's embrace, Xi Huan was in tears, but her lips were pulled up in a grin.

'Is she really scared, or is she laughing?'

"Beep, what's happening?!" Ren covered his ears in pain.

Hearing him, Xi Huan pointed to the pool area. "T-T-There's a dead body floating in the pool!"

Rayen's eyes widened and glanced in the direction where her finger was pointing. When the sight of the dark pool water entered their eyes, he knew they had come to the right place.

There was a body silently floating on the surface of the water, head down in the water.

"H-Haruru is dead!"

"....."

Everyone stared at the dead body, heads blank.

'Yeo Haru is dead?'

After experiencing many supernatural things, the sight of the dead body wasn't the thing that fazed Rayen — knowing that it was Yeo Haru did.

Ren was the first one to recover. He glanced around the entire pool area, finding something. As soon as he saw the pool skimmer, he grabbed it without hesitation and started poking the dead body using its handle. Still, no matter how many times he poked it, it did not react, still floating silently in the water.

And so, Ren began to pull out the body using the skimmer. Watching this scene, the rest of the members came to their senses.

"What are you doing?" Adrian asked.

"I think it's dead, so I'm taking it out of the water," Ren said.

"... Can't you properly take him out of the water?" Rayen said.

No matter what, that's still Yeo Haru!

Ren stared at him. "I don't want to go in water that has a dead body in it. Do you want to do it instead?"

Even though Ren said that, he didn't stop his movement at all. A few moments later, he was able to pull the body to the edge of the pool. Mr. Big News and Liam helped and silently dragged the body out of the water with solemn faces.

They laid the body on its back and confirmed — it was truly Yeo Haru. His face was pale, and his eyes were tightly shut.

The group carefully approached the body. Right now, they were like a group of characters inside a detective film show and they had just encountered the first victim.

"H-Haruru..." Xi Huan called, still with a creepy grin and teary eyes.

Just then, Yeo Haru's eyes opened.

"!!!!!"

Once again, Xi Huan jumped and embraced Iris, screaming. Rayen took a step back in surprise, but his eyes never left Yeo Haru. Yeo Haru's blank gaze met with his.

And then he blinked.

With this blink, everyone finally realized that Yeo Haru wasn't dead at all.

"Beep." Adrian cursed. "We thought you died again."

Meanwhile, Xi Huan's and Iris's screams gradually faded once they also realized that Yeo Haru was alive.

"H-Haruru, you're not truly dead?" Xi Huan asked.

Yeo Haru sat up and stared at her. "... I was about to. Thank you for fishing me out."

The corners of Rayen's mouth twitched.

'What are you? A salted fish?'

After a few moments, everyone finally calmed down. Mr. Big News found the locker room in the pool area and had Xi Huan open it to get some towels for himself, Liam, and Yeo Haru who had been soaking wet.

"Now, what happened to you?" Adrian asked. "Why were you swimming in the pool like that?"

Yeo Haru looked at Adrian, about to cry. "Bro, do I look like I was swimming?"

Everyone remembered how he looked when they found him earlier and turned silent.

"I was just lying in bed earlier when suddenly, the surroundings turned into this place!" Yeo Haru continued to complain.

From the corner of his eyes, Rayen briefly glanced at Adrian, who suddenly avoided looking at Yeo Haru.

'That was definitely Adrian's fault, not mine!'

Still, Rayen went ahead to comfort the crying Yeo Haru by tapping him on his back. Adrian also did the same out of guilt.

However, there were still matters they had to attend to.

Just then, the pool behind them began swirling. Everyone immediately stood up in alarm.

"What's happening?" Adrian asked Rayen.

"How the hell am I supposed to know?"

"Is the nightmare ending?" Ren asked, sounding uninterested.

"Nightmare?" Yeo Haru glanced at everyone, confused.

Suddenly, Xi Huan's eyes beamed in enlightenment. "Isn't this Haruru's nightmare? Then maybe we've already achieved the mission?"

"What mission? Were you the ones who sent me in here?!"

"Xi Huan!" Rayen and Adrian simultaneously exclaimed.

"Oopps..." Xi Huan let out a nervous chuckle before turning back to Yeo Haru. "Haruru, are you feeling awake now?"

"I don't understand what you mean!"

"It seems like he's not yet fully awake." Staring at Yeo Haru, Xi Huan trotted toward him.

Yeo Haru: "???"

Suddenly, Xi Huan raised her hand and slapped Yeo Haru in the face.

Yeo Haru's eyes widened. "What are you doing?!"

"He's awake now!"

The corner of Rayen's mouth twitched.

The pool of water continued swirling. It seemed to be rising as well.

"Strange. He should be awake now, but why aren't we out yet?" Xi Huan mused.

As though answering Xi Huan's question, a voice echoed from the surrounding space.

"Error. Error."

No. It was coming from the pool.
