Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1207: Vexthra's Gift

Vexthra came back to the god realm to find a safe way for Kent to cross from Astralis Veil, where he currently is, to Tenebral Crown, the galaxy the destiny map said Elina lives in.

It is a long journey, one that will be harrowing if she doesn't get adequate help. Of course, if he had the strength to battle gods, supreme and perhaps even celestial beasts, crossing the Space field would be easy.

However, a long time ago, the Space Field was used to imprison yet another race of harrowing abominable beasts called Space Beasts or Star Beasts.

This prison was then used to divide the various galaxies in the High world. However, there are gateways in the God, Supreme, and Celestial worlds.

This was so that one day, the cultivators would be able to kill all Star Beasts. So the current Kent is like a lamb to the slaughter if he dares venture inside.

So, as a good and loving wife, Vexthra only wanted to protect her man. She wants to make sure her sister, whom she has yet to meet, is rescued and brought home safely.

Of course, while Kent isn't aware, the mission he had embarked on is one that struck close to home for Vexthra. It reminded her of someone, who is the key reason why she wanted Kent to help her kill the god of Alchemy.

In truth, she wanted many people dead, even celestials. However, the Alchemy god is just the first domino in a long line of dominoes.

This is why she wants this mission completed on good terms, for she genuinely wanted to meet this Elina.

Perhaps this is destiny playing her game, but the Vexthra that Kent met when she appeared in the realm of Hatred and Resentment was actually grieving.

She only became more normal when she met Kent's wives and started interacting with the others in the tower.

She had yet to tell Kent why she wanted the Alchemy god dead. Of course, Kent didn't ask her why when she gave him that mission, and she is grateful for that.

However, this mission to rescue Elina is bringing back sad memories, so she wants to use any means necessary to ensure he reaches Tenebral Crown safely.

This also means even if she had to give something as precious as knowledge from the ancient past, to get what she wanted for Kent, she wouldn't hesitate.

Watching Orion flip through the manual with varying expressions appearing on his face with every flip, she could only smile in her head.

In the past, she would have been annoyed and even smashed his face in. This shows she has changed.

She needed help, so she would do anything as long as it was not below her bottom line to get what she came for.

Orion spent three good hours examining the manual, page by page, line by line. By the time he was done, Vexthra could see the respect, gratitude, and joy in his eyes, on his face, and in his gestures.

"Would that be enough to secure your help in any way I wanted?"

Orion nodded frantically... "This is more than enough. In fact, this is better than enough." He flipped through a couple of pages, his smile brightening.

"The way I saw the stars was utterly wrong. In fact, the way I saw the laws of the stars and space was from the start a fate joke. This is the right method...the one lost to time...the one we tried to copy but failed."

He looked up at Vexthra and said:

"This manual contains so much knowledge that if I manage to comprehend the first page in its entirety, then my understanding of the Space Law will surge far beyond my wildest understanding."

Vexthra didn't show any reaction, but she was happy that Orion felt that way. This means what she came for can be secured, and she can even get a bonus.

"Thank you, Goddess Vexthra. What you had given me is more than enough to see my rise to the peak of Celestialhood."

This time, Vexthra smiles... "Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Space God. The journey ahead is complex and much more profound than you think. So you might want to slow down a bit.

Of course, I will be happy to see you rise to the peak one day."

"I will. I will not waste your generosity." He finally stored away the manual not in his space ring, but deep inside his god space.

Every god has a private god space. Though not advanced like the Primordial Space Vexthra and her sisters have, it is good enough to keep the secrets of a god who had just received the best gift of his life.

Once the book was secured, he turned back to Vexthra... "I will quickly recalibrate the artefact since I already have one. It will lead the person to the star gateway closest to them.

Also, when inside the star gateway, it will shield them from Immortal King beasts and above. However, there is a chance they might encounter an Immortal Kin. But there is a one-in-a-hundred-million chance of that happening."

"That is good enough for me. The person who will be using it isn't exactly an ordinary person." Vexthra smiled again. However, she quickly returned to normal and looked carefully at Orion.

"I honestly don't know what will result from today's meeting; however, should something big that is related to today's meeting happen, you will do your best not to speak a word of it to anyone.

In fact, going into a million years of seclusion will be ideal. I know you have a place where time is accelerated.

You can even go into a hundred million years' seclusion because trust me, you would love not to be on the wrong side of this person."

Orion smiled and shook his head... "Today never happened. As far as I am concerned, I was visited by the goddess of Hatred and Resentment, who heard I had secured a bottle of Stardrop Noir, and she came to ask for it politely for the whole bottle."

"I like smart people." Vexthra smiles slyly.

Orion wiped an invisible sweat off his forehead and quickly went back to calibrating the artefact.

Vexthra chuckles inwardly, knowing Orion is handled.

She wants Kent to be safe, and so she made sure Orion knows his place.

Although she had no idea Kent was once known as the Ruthless Bandit, a part of her couldn't shake the feeling that something big would soon happen.

She can feel it in her bones.

So she made sure Orion understood that.

Now that she is done, all she can do is take the last sip of her drink and wait for Orion to work on the artefact.

Although he said he would work on it quickly, to a god who had lived for billions of years, the concept of time is not so important anymore.

It will take him close to 2 months to finish it, but Vexthra has time, and so she will wait. Kent is on his way to Liora's homeworld.

However, for the time being, he is spending time with her sisters.

That is also good enough for her. Soon, when she gets what she came for, she will join them.

By then, Kent would have traveled much closer to the edge of the galaxy.
