"Support team! Take care of Miss Aria and deploy the barriers!"

Captain Lux got everyone present into battle formation as soon as they received Aria.

She was tired and wounded. Her body had been moving on adrenaline and the medics present recognised that instantly.

She had pushed herself past her limits, that much was evident to most of them, so they decided to put her to sleep momentarily.

"Miss Arcage! Wake up everyone present! We have no time!"

As all of them watched, three red eyes glowed from beyond the clearing fog. A soul chilling sensation also ran through the spines of everyone present.

A dreadful feeling, followed by a drying throat, spread throughout the masses, sweat covering their entire body.

The mana in the surrounding became a little chaotic, and from these signs alone, it became evident that the true terror that had been asleep until now, had finally woken up.

"All battle units present! Follow the lead of your captains! The enemy is enraged!" With the battle roar of captain Lux, the association members as well as the rest of the people present got into the formation.

While Aria was left with a special medic team, the rest of the people moved in unison.

The battle that was being fought on different fronts had just awakened the final boss. The small mobs didn't matter anymore, there was a threat that could coast them their lives here.

The creature was active, and, as they all could see, it wasn't by itself.

"Are those… eggs?"

"That thing had eggs?"

The three artificial eggs that Aria had left behind were still present right in front of the creature and the mother, while having lost her will, was still following her instincts.

She could not tell whether they were her children or not, but the good replica awakened her motherly instincts and she wrapped herself around the eggs.

But the pearls were easy to spot, so they all saw it the moment they arrived here.

The creature was wrapped around the eggs, the three shining pearls were something they could not take their eyes away from, but at the same time, they did not have the leeway to look away from the monster around the eggs.

"Ptsssssss…!"

The creature hissed and the pressures that spread throughout the open area brought the people around it to their knees.

Those who weren't expecting this kind of pressure lost their footing and, had they not been careful, they would have been hit by the 'Spirit blades' that swirled around the creature like an extension of her body.

Shaped like her own scales, these blades swung around her like a flower pastel dancing around a thorny flower.

The beautiful calamity, lost of her warmth, saw the intruders as threats she needed to eliminate at any coast, so she spread her ethereal scale blades.

-Swiiiiiiiiiish!

-Swish! Swish! Swish!

The blades did not only spread throughout the area around them but they also flew to the entirety of the dungeon, making way to the different areas where other battles were being fought.

"Ptssssssss!"

The Naga tried to eliminate the powerful individuals she had been keeping an eye on with these spirit blades… however, they were already prepared to receive this attack.

"Now!"

-Ooooooooooooooooong!

Thanks to the instructions all the teams received from the main association unit, they had been prepared to receive unexpected attacks just like this one.

They did not know how they figured this might happen, but they had given them a heads up. The other team captains, having instructed their mages and support units, were already making their way to the central area.

The association had set up many camps throughout the floor already, making the communication between teams much easier. They had the technology to communicate quickly throughout this floor now, and it helped then the moment the battle began.

"Focus on offence! Leave the support and defences to the other units!" The team captains communicated among themselves and commanded their teams.

With the support mages handing the defences, the other support units focusing on buffs and instructions, the offensive front liners approached the creature, closing in on the final target.

The creature had an arsenal of ethereal weapons. The domain that it had created wasn't sustainable anymore, so she focused her energy on pure offence.

The scale-like spirit blades that swirled around her like a storm or flower petrels were the first weapon, the ground that was covered in a thin layer of toxic aura was the second weapon, and lastly, the Naga mother summoned what the veterans called: generals.

There were three spirit knights towering three meters, each as strong as a (Level-30) sub-boss in a hunting field.

The summoned beings were also of spirit nature. They could not harm these beings with simple physical attacks.

Only the attacks that had magical properties or Holy element enchantment could deal with them… and, while there was only one that could use holy power directly, enchantments were a different deal altogether.

"Party one and three will take on the shield knight, party two and four will take on the duel sword knight, and the axe knight will be taken care of by the auxiliary front liners from the other parties!"

"Engage!"

If one wanted to see what was going on this battlefield right now, they can think of this scene:

[A vast plain with caves present on all sides that connected to different parts of the dungeons.

Other teams were continuously jumping out of these caves and directly joining the ongoing battle.

In the centre of this plains, there was a being as big as a skyscraper. The humans and other races of adventurers that were fighting against it seemed like wolves fighting against a pack of mammoths stacked one upon the other.

One scale that was rotating around the creature was as big as these tiny humans fighting it.

Adventurers, holding glowing weapons. Mages casting spells. Three giant like knights, undead by look, ghost by nature, fighting against people covered in a blanket of holy energy.

A single bishop-like noble lady, casting skills on the dozens of front liner units, with many bottles or Mana potions beside her. An ice mage that had taken the lead and was facing the Naga directly, an ice cold mana surrounding his body. A lady with a crimson whip with fire like Aura surrounding her teeth-covered weapon. And many more…]

There were more than two hundred people fighting the giant by the time the battle progressed just a little, the creature progressively using her skills, her energy looking endless.

The spirit being had mystical powers that would have proven to be catastrophic if the opponents were even a little less skilled than the teams selected by the association, but, the groups that were gathered here had fought on many battlefields already.

They were skilled, had high stats, were experienced against beings that were just as catastrophic as this Naga, and some of them had experience killing such beings as well.

The battle wasn't one sided.

-Ooooooooooooong!

-Booooooooooom!

The creature they were fighting against was a being of great powers. With the instincts that it was running on, under the influence of the dungeon's powers, it moved only to kill.

There was nothing in this mind than the intruders that were attacking it's home right now and so, it moved with the intent to kill.

Before, it was only using skills and powers that it possessed, however, once it sensed the great disadvantage that it had against these beings, it switched tactics.

It fought with its entire body.

It fought with the powers that its body possessed. As a spirit connector, it could not only deal with the spirits of creatures from beyond, but also the ones that were directly present there.

So, it rained down carnage once the stakes were raised.

"Move them!"

"Arghhhhhh!"

"Switch positions! Team 12! Switch with the injured team! Continue breaking forward!"

The battle peaked when the Naga, not having any other choice left, covered the eggs in a protective barrier and moved towards her enemies directly.

With her spirit powers, she harvested the souls of the dead beasts throughout the dungeon, summoning them again in the form of ghosts and resentful spirits.

"Wooooooooo…!"

To deal with these beings, the battle healer Lady Jasmine had no choice left.

She announced to the people on the battlefield, invoking the <S> rank skill very few could use in the entire kingdom.

Then the battle healer slammed her hands together, gathering her energy and moving it like an atom around her body.

Three more appeared right after that, and following that, the ceiling started illuminating with the same holy light.

The 'sky' split open when there was no sky present in the first place, and from there, golden light descended onto the battlefield, changing the tide of the battle for better.

According to their plans, they were supposed to deal with the different stages of the skills that the Naga was going to use.

The spirit domain was going to be the hardest to deal with, but Aria was going to take care of it from the start.

From there, they were supposed to attack the creature from different locations and chip away her health little by little. Since it was a being of spirits, it was also going to be affected by the things that spirits would.

Magic worked on it, especially the complicated penetrative spells. Aura was also highly effective against her.
