[The City of New Jersey]

Things had changed drastically in the past two days since Jason left for Radagan. Although some parts of the city were still damaged due to the massive-scale battle that the superhumans had against the Radagan soldiers, there were already a lot of buildings and schools that had been rebuilt in almost no time at all! The reason for this was simple. Although there were many superhumans who decided that they wanted to go into the gates and kill monsters, there were many other superhumans who just didn't have the heart or the stomach for killing on a daily basis, and these superhumans usually went into other alternative fields of work. And one of those fields that had become very popular in the past few years was the field of Construction!

The amount of work that could be done by a single superhuman on a construction site was more than what any modern construction machine could ever hope to accomplish! Many construction sites hired superhumans to help move heavy loads or complete difficult tasks with their gifts, and this was how the housing industry was able to climb so quickly! And currently, one of the most popular construction agencies has been contracted to take care of New Jersey. Their name was JPR Constructions, and it was the largest superhuman construction company in America! They were responsible for taking care of any superhuman-related incident that led to the destruction of property, and since they were being paid by the government and insurance companies, their rates were very high!

In just twenty-four hours, the construction company had already repaired more than sixty percent of the city, and they were already predicting that they would have everything back to normal before the next day! But even though everyone thought that JPR was an independent company, what they didn't know was that the company was actually receiving a lot of backing from the secret organization known as Gaia. The reason for this was simple — Gaia worked to make sure that the masses didn't find out about the existence of interworld travellers. But they couldn't really block every single dimensional tear to prevent any interworld traveler from coming to Earth. So, whenever there was an attack through a breach, Gaia would take care of the interworld travelers, and then they would call on JPR to come and handle the cleanup and retrieval of the corpses of any interworld travelers. This ensured that no one would ever know about them, and JPR would continue to get their contracts from the government! It was a win-win situation!

Right now, there was a large barrier over the entire city that prevented anyone from seeing what was happening inside, and the JPR cleaners and superhuman repairers were busy working on the buildings. But they suddenly stopped when they all felt a sudden rush of power from above them. They looked up to see a large Dimensional Tear opening above the city, and everyone became terrified that they were about to be attacked by a monster! But all the superhumans in the region felt their danger instincts flaring to life as they sensed an insane power coming through the Dimensional Tear! This power was far greater than anything they had ever sensed in their lives, and it was almost enough to send them to their knees!

"What is that? Fuck."

"I think… It's another superhuman. It doesn't feel hostile. But it's strong... too strong."

"There's no way that thing is human! That power doesn't even feel like an SS Rank! It's higher than that!"

The superhumans felt sweat building on their foreheads as they looked up in anticipation, and it wasn't long before one of them pointed up and shouted:

"It's the Monarch Guild!"

And sure enough, it was Jason, Gina, and the other superhumans who had gone to Radagan returning! They were all riding on the backs of dragons, and the superhumans were all looking at Jason with shocked faces as they felt the sheer power radiating off him! It felt like he was some sort of nuclear bomb that was about to go off! The regular people on the ground couldn't feel the power as strongly as the superhumans could, since their senses weren't as sharp, so they were completely oblivious as they cheered for the returnees happily.

Jason glanced at the men below as he made Ragnar move through the city. His eyes were searching for someone in the crowd, and it didn't take long before he saw Fredrica, the head of the Gaia branch in America, standing on top of a skyscraper a few hundred meters away from him. There were a few agents standing around her, and they were all looking up at him expectantly. And Jason headed in that direction and made Ragnar land on an adjacent building before he got off. The dragons carrying the other superhumans also landed on various buildings around the city, and Fredrica immediately told her agents to go and round up the various superhumans!

"Make sure none of them leave without getting debriefed and submitting a proper report about their actions during the inter-world journey. Test them for any pathogens or viruses and put them through the physical tests to see what changed in their physiological state."

"Yes, ma'am!"

The agents around Fredrica all answered respectfully before they went to do what they were told, and Jason just ignored all of them as he helped Gina down from Ragnar's back before giving Riyala a hand as well. Gina was still beaming from the ceremony from earlier, and she stuck close to Jason with her hand in his. On the other side of the roof, Fredrica was looking at Jason like she was only seeing him for the first time, and at that moment, there was only one thought running through her mind — What in the world happened to this man?

Jason had so much power in his body that it was almost impossible for her to stand in front of him without being overwhelmed! And the worst part of it was the fact that Fredrica knew this was only the residual power that Jason was unconsciously letting out! This meant that Jason's true power was actually far more imposing than this! If Jason let out his mana, he could destroy this city without even lifting a finger!

'No wonder Cersai told us not to get on his bad side. This rate of growth isn't normal. He was only an S Rank a few days ago, and now he's far stronger than the Five Rulers. If I had gone too far back then, wouldn't my life be in danger right now?'

Fredrica tried to calm herself as she let out a breath. She had to talk to Jason, so she couldn't allow his aura to terrify her like this. She had to remain calm! Jason watched Fredrica taking calm breaths as she walked over to him, and she spoke respectfully once she was close enough.

"Mr. Jason, I'm glad to see you've returned without any incidents. We were anticipating your victory, but you were gone for so long. Did anything happen to delay you?"

Jason shrugged calmly before telling Fredrica that the fight just took longer than he thought it would. Fredrica nodded and she was about to ask Jason about his sudden increase in power, but before she could speak, Jason cut her off and said:

"I need to speak to Cersai. Tell him to come here."
