"You've just made, a big mistake."

Eryndor Jake and Corvex flinched when they heard Adam speak, but Corvex regained his senses and snarled:

"What are you doing!? Get him!"

A wave of corruption erupted from his body as it washed over the monsters, their eyes turned dark crimson as corrupted mana was visible all around their bodies.

Then all twenty of them began to circle all around Adam like he was prey.

Adam on the other hand still had a blank expression on his face, he no longer spoke but an intense feeling of rage was rising from within him.

He found himself surrounded from all sides, the monsters grouped themselves in groups of four, with each group having four monsters.

All of them lunged at Adam simultaneously aiming to rip him to threads.

Adam just gripped the sword of bahamut tightly on his left palm and muttered something under his breath:

"Cataclysm Sweep."

A wide and horizontal slash was created which released a dragon-shaped shockwave.

The attack cut through the hordes of monsters and vaporized them like they were nothing, the same attack was seen heading towards Eryndor, Jake and Corvex.

"Not good!" Corvex's pupils dilated when he saw the attack incoming, he felt like if the attack hit me directly he wouldn't live to tell the tale.

All of them conjured a barrier made out of corruption in an attempt to stop the attack but that didn't work.

The corruption barrier was also vaporized like it was nothing, and went towards them.

All of them ducked at the attack moved them and just disintegrated all the trees in the area, luckily the attack wasn't aimed at them or they wouldn't have been able to dodge it.

Adam started slowly walking towards them, his steps were deliberate and they weren't rushed.

Beads of sweat started to form from all of them, they know that their fucked. Without anyway out they began to chant their strongest attacks.

Corvex conjured a huge ball made out of darkfire and was mixed in with corruption, its size grew larger and larger with each passing second.

Jake drew his sword as green mana started to gather all around it, the green mana enlarged and a wave of mana was bursting from it generating gusts of violent wind.

Eryndor generated a large ball of light but it was tainted with corruption so it didn't shine with a bright yellow but had a bit of a obsidian tint on it.

Adam stopped just midway from them and let them channel their mana so their attacks could reach their maximum capacity.

"Even you won't survive this!" Jake yelled.

All of them launched their attacks simultaneously towards Adam, all attacks converged and fused together to create an even stronger attack.

Adam lifted his sword of bahamut up once again, his face still blank and cold as ever and murmured something under his breath:

"Primordial Devour Slash."

A single slash, a single cut was made that cut through their combined attacks.

It stole the mana, the very essence and laws of their attacks and converted it into energy for Adam.

The attack fizzled out of existence after having its energy drained from the cut, and Adam regained the mana he lost and even had some extra left that boosted his power temporarily.

"I-i-impossible!" Corvex shouted, this was their strongest attacks. They poured everything they had into it but it still didn't do nothing and now almost all of their reserves have been depleted.

He cast his gaze towards Adam who was standing Infront of them and wasn't even moving.

"B-bastard..." Jake said, he couldn't believe what he saw. He believed that after gaining the power from the Outer Gods he would be able to stand above his peers.

Eryndor who was the embodiment of pride and elven arrogance was also speechless, he planned this for months ever since that 'being' approached him.

This plan was supposed to be perfect, the preparations, the unsealing of the devourer and even the isolation of the students and killings were all for nothing, just because of a single variable:

Adam.

Adam just stood there and didn't say anything for a few moments and then finally he acted.

He opened his maw wide as a ball of mana was gathering in his mouth, the ball of mana was a combination of all his affinities:

Space, Ice, Fire and Wind were all being combined into one devastating strike.

[Divine Breath]

A wide beam of mana was shot out from his maw towards his enemies, all of them saw it coming towards them and were preparing to dodge but something locked them in place.

"Fuck!" Corvex cursed as they met the beam head-on and a large explosion occured.

BOOM!

Back to the battle between the powerhouses

The battle was still ongoing between the guardians of the human continent with the entity.

It was intense and just one wrong move would be fatal and almost all of them were about to reach their limits.

The entity's power was increasing with each passing second and it was making it harder to deal with.

"Move!" Dave Vorn yelled, their attacks were now ready and they found the precise opening they've needed.

All of the others immediately nodded and moved out of the way, the entity noticed something was off when all of the others retreated.

It then turned its gaze towards the SSS-ranks in the air, it grinned as if welcoming the attack when it saw them finish their preparations.

"Bring it." The entity said.

Dave Vorn finishing preparing his attack, by manipulating the affinities of water, wind and lightning the headmaster has created a compressed orb of mana that is a fusion of these three.

The orb contained the power of law:

The Law Of Storm

Inside the orb was a makeshift sea with thunderstorms and lightning clouds raging, the sea was also influenced by the phenomenon and the winds were raging

Caelum von Celestine has also finished his preparations, by manipulating the elements of light, fire, and wind and combining them to create a devasting attack he converged them to create his own law:

The Law Of The Sun

Inside the orb created was a makeshift sun that was burning hot while the land was raging with never ending fire.

Dave struck first by firing the orb, it moved fast just like lightning and the wind and appeared right in front of the entity and the it exploded.

BOOM!

A tornado mixed in with water first struck the entity completely trapping it inside the vortex. It couldn't escape and its tentacles ended up wrapping around its humanoid body.

The water tornado was never ending and that wasn't the end of it.

High above the sky, dark clouds began to gather around and in an instant a lightning storm stuck the tornado.

The moment the lighting struck the tornado, the water that was already surrounding it conducted the lightning and lightning sparks began to be fused with the tornado.

The lightning strikes didn't end and the entity was stuck inside the water tornado while being electrocuted constantly by the lightning.

Since it was trapped it was now the King's turn.

His also appeared right next to the tornado but his was different, it didn't make any weather changing phenomenon besides dissipating the clouds and reveling the scorching sun and then—

BOOM!

A blazing heat engulfed the creature in an instant completely burning through the storm and just turning it into water vapor and engulfing the entity

Its whole body was now covered with flames that didn't seem to want to end, its whole body was constantly getting burned and regenerating and faced with the corruptions natural enemy 'Light' its own regeneration and power was getting weakened.

The sun that had appeared was serving that very purpose.

"YOU INSECTS!" The entity roared, it didn't expect to be caught under that power of laws. It was still an SS ranked entity while it's power was rivaling that of an SSS-rank it still couldn't use the power laws.

That's when it's eye turned to the portal showing the images of what was happening on the otherside, it saw its offspring dead and also saw Adam attempting to finish off its pawns.

While it couldn't do anything and it seamed like it would be sealed again but there's one thing it could manage to do:

Cause a rift between them and leave everything up to its followers once more.

"Ahh Duke Bazel," the entity said while it was constantly getting burned. "It seems your son is about to meet his end."

Duke Bazel then turned his eyes to the portal and saw his son, his pride and joy. Even though he had betrayed humanity he still couldn't bare see his own son die.

"NOOOOOOOO!!!" He roared and encased his own body in wind and charged towards the portal.

Everyone was gazing at the portal and saw Duke Bazel heading there in quick haste, that's when they realized it:

He might try to kill Adam to save his son.

While the other powerhouses tried to chase after him, Veyra stopped them and she said:

"Everyone focus on the entity, I'll follow him!"

That's when she ran after him and entered the portal.

BOOM!

Adam's beam landed but his eyes widened in shock when he saw that his enemies remained unscathed and saw Duke von Bazel.

His clothes were scorched but still gripped his sword and blocked the attack from hitting his son and the others.

Adam's anger grew more and more and he asked:

"Why? Why save a heritic. He tried to kill Selena and he partnered with the Outer Gods!" Adam yelled.

Duke Bazel stood firm, even though he was tired and his mana was almost depleted he just said. "He's my son, and even if he's against the world. I'll still protect him."

That's when he took a stance and activated a forbidden technique of the Bazel family, one that used his own core and life force as fuel.

"Run, my son." He said as he looked day Jake.

"Everlasting Tempest."

High Priest Corvex took this chance while Adam was distanced by the Duke.

He appeared behind Adam and held his kid so that he couldn't move and the yelled. "Run! Your the future of Kyrexis! I shall sacrifice myself to see that this lizard dies!"

Adam's eyes widened and tried to break free, but Corvex didn't let that happen and used his corrupted mana to hold Adam in place, even if Adam has superior stats the corruption made it hard for him to move especially when he was restricted by a person above his rank.

"Do it!" Corvex yelled.

Duke Bazel just nodded as he finished charging his attack, his aura blazed as he changed forward his sword in hand and made a single slash using his own life and remaining mana as fuel.

"Sorry young one but for my son sake you must. Die—!"

But something happened that neither of them expected.

Veyra appeared out of nowhere and stepped infront of the attack and generated a shield, she was an S+ rank and knew that should would survive.

She cast a glance a glance at Adam and gave him a warm smile and said:

"I leave the Guild to you."

And everything just happened in an instant, the barrier got destroyed and Veyra was struck down.

Duke Bazel coughed up blood and his core was broken.

Veyra's body landed on ground, a deep wound was left on her body, her lungs and heart were badly injured and you could see her beating heart from the wound.

Adam saw this happen right in front of him, Veyra his teacher, Guildmaster and someone who stood by his side ever since he went to the academy.

Was cut down right Infront of him and he couldn't do anything but just watch.

He thought to himself:

Why? Why does everyone I know and care about end up getting injured or dying right Infront of me?

I thought the system made me stronger and I am. But why can't I do anything when it matters most?

I could've killed them at a time and why didn't I?

I see. I was arrogant, I thought I could do anything, save anyone. But I'm still weak and now Guildmaster Veyra sacrificed herself to saw me.

No more! I can't allow any of this to continue.

"NO MOOOOOREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!" Adam's voice erupted as shockwave erupted that blasted everyone away his position besides Veyra's body.

His body began to enlarge and grow bigger, some of his classmates or friends were dead and Veyra also died because she protected him.

And that's when it happened:

Adam finally snapped
