Violet appreciatively looked over the notifications of the kills, she did note that she seemed to get considerably less experience from any being below level 80. So although they had killed a lot of monsters, only around 6 or 7 of them gave any real experience. Well except for the apparent leader of that swarm.
[Your group has defeated Hybrid Elemental (Stone, Earth, Nature) lvl 97 exp rewarded]
She had been quite surprised at how easily it had been taken out to be honest. Violet had expected a much harder fight from the Terror yet felt kind of cheated from a good fight. Still she wasn't too fussed as she still got some good rewards!

[New skill unlocked - Flight lvl 1]
Violet was quite happy to see that she even gained a new skill! She experimented with flying quickly and found that it had become quite a bit easier to maintain her position in the sky with the new skill. She had been lacking practice flying lately so she wouldn't turn down some help in her control.
Done with looking over her gains for the fight she quickly spotted Luna, her companion stood amidst the rubble of the dead elementals. She too had a wide smile and Violet could feel the contentment running through her from a fun fight.
"Good work down there! Shall we go say hi to the locals?" Violet asked.
Luna glanced up at Violet, still flying up in the sky, then down at the huddled people who were looking at the battlefield with shellshocked expressions. She suddenly had an idea and quickly shared it with Violet.
Violet then blinked and Luna took a step. They appeared right before the central figure, he was the only one with a presence so they assumed him to be the leader of the group. Still their sudden arrive and predictors smiles, were apparently quite frightening as the poor man audibly gulped at the two.
Violet could feel Luna's mirth at the situation and had to agree it was quite funny to see how panicked the man seemed at their sudden arrival. She decided to let him stew in silence for a few agonising seconds longer before she finally spoke up. "Hello there. I'm Violet, who are you all?"
Her question seemed to snap the man out of his fear induced stupor, he proceeded to stand up straight, now almost reaching Violet chest in height. He then slammed his left closed fist onto his opposite chest in a strange manner before he spoke in a somewhat stiff manner.
"M-My name is Tyre and these are my friends and party members. I thank you for assisting us, I-i don't think that we would have survived much longer without your timely assistance." Whilst his tone may be formal, Violet could tell that he was genuinely extremely grateful for their assistance.
"Yeah you didn't look to be able to hold on much longer." She bluntly replied whilst nodding. She then received an elbow to her side from Luna who glared at her in amused annoyance. Not that Luna really expected anything less from Violet, she could be quite blunt at times.
"What my companion means, is that we are glad that we were able to help you out of that situation. Plus it was a fun fight! So it's a win win really." A moment of silence passed before Luna spoke up once more. "Umm I don't mean to be rude, but what are you? I don't think iv ever seen a child with a beard before."
And indeed the man, Tyre did almost look like a child given his height. He stood just under 5ft tall, a fairly square face with a thick bushy black beard that matched the sweat matted black hair on his head. His metal plate armour had definitely seen better days. It had a number of dents and scratches from that battle he had just survived.
Appart from Tyre, the other 4 mele fighters were also very short with beards, except for the only female short person who was weirding a brutal looking battle axe. Behind them was a male foxkin ranger and a female beastkin mage of some kind that Violet had never seen before.
Tyre seemed mildly offended at Luna's insinuation that he was a child, yet quickly reigned in his apparent frustration as he glanced behind them at the shattered remains of the elementals these two girls had apparently effortlessly slaughtered. He gulped once more before replying.
"I am not a child, but I am a dwarf. Have you not met a dwarf before? Are you not from Cragkieth?"
Violet replied this time. "Ohh your dwarves, Ivy mentioned dwarves didn't she! How come you are so small?"
Tyre wanted to be annoyed at the strange girls, yet the childlike innocence in her voice made him reconsider, so he took a deep breath before answering. "That is just how it is for our race. But a word of advice, most dwarves don't like it when you call us short." And it was true, the 3 other dwarves all had the same conflicted expressions on their faces after Violet's words.
"Ohh okay, sorry about that! Didn't know that. Also no we are not from Cragkieth, we, or at least me and Luna here are from far to the west of here. Rhyana and Susan there are from further east." She deliberately didn't mention that they were from the kingdom, believing that could be a cause for some concern if the forest cities held resentment against the kingdom.
"Ohh I see, I see. Umm seeing as you asked about my race, can I ask what rage you are, I recognise the dogkin, and I believe you are a leopardkin of some kind." He said nodding at Susan and Luna respectively. "But I have never met a person with features such as you, with horns, wings and a tail. You you some kind of lizard kin?"
Violet snorted in derision at the last part? Finding it quite offensive to be compared to a lowly lizard. "Humph, I'm not a lizard. I am a dragon." She announced.
A moment of silence passed before Tyre and a couple of the other dwarves chuckled in amusement. "Haha, good one. But no seriously, what are you?"
Frowning now Violet answered again. "I told you I'm a dragon!"
Now Tyre also began to frown. "Hey look that's not funny anymore. Dragons are all but extinct, we dwarves hold them in high regard and don't appreciate people claiming to be them." The other dwarves also seems to be getting quite agitated too at the sudden turn of the conversation.
But Violet, Violet was now angry. How dare they think she wasn't a dragon! Her eyes flashed with anger and her presence was fully unleashed, instantly suppressing all of the dwarves and the two beastkin, a couple even fell to their knees at the sudden pressure. She then began to glow as she activated her shapeshift skill.
A few moments later, when the Violet glow diminished. The dwarves and beastkin opened their eyes and looked up, and up as they beheld Violet's true form in all its glory. A second later a powerful mental bridge connected everyone together, the now once more terrified party unable to even think about blocking the connection.
Violet's voice rumbled out in their minds, the nearly contained anger almost palpable in her mental tone. "As I said small man, I. Am. A. Dragon." A reverberating growl escaped from her chest, causing the ground to shake nearby.
Tyre and his party instantly paled in abject terror as they gazed upon the actual, and now angry dragon that was glaring down on them.
He tried to formulate a response, to say anything, to apologise for his rudeness. Yet he was unable to form any words, his mouth opening and closing silently. Then he proceeded to collapse to the floor as he passed out.
Violet paused for a moment in surprise at the dwarf passing out. Then she tilted her head and turned to Luna. "Hu, umm didn't expect that. I guess we have found another silly stupid small one!"
