Beast Evolution System: Devourer of Heaven

Chapter 138: Boxing Kangaroo

Ved activated his ignition, not because he had to, he didn't, even without it he could still defeat her almost effortlessly, she was even weaker than Pulse let alone Ved's avatar.

However he wanted to drill in the difference in their strength, since she wasn't a member of the beast race and he couldn't use his authority to subdue her, he will use force and fear.

He flapped his wings, the world blurred around him and he appeared infront of her almost instantly.

Before she could react, he pressed her to the ground with his hand. She struggled but couldn't break free from his hand.

She tried to used her web spider to attack him, her giant web spider behind him froze for a moment then ignited into blue flames and burnt to ashes in seconds.

Ved has injected a small nuclear flame inside it when he passed by it. He did it so fast she didn't even see him do it.

The fear in her eyes grew then she slumped down and stopped resisting. ' Do with me as you see fit but please do not touch my children, let them live.'

Ved gave her a strange look, ' You seem to have a misunderstanding here, you have no grounds to negotiate with me.' she glared at him with rage.

' Fortunately for you, I have no interest in killing you.' she looked surprised. ' Then what do you want? I don't think i have anything I can offer someone like you.'

Ved grinned, ' Your soul.' a surprised look appeared in her eyes, ' My what?' He drew his face closer to hers, his giant golden eyes staring directly into hers.

' I want your soul, from this day forth, your life and everything you have will be mine, you will serve loyally and without question.' she gritted her fangs but didn't object.

Ved knew fear alone was not enough, he needed her loyalty as well so using the carrot and stick method was the best means of control.

' If your service satisfies me, I will grant you power but if you fail me..' he didn't continue, he was sure she got the message.

He wasn't lying, although insectoid couldn't use beast lineages, Ved's library had a few lineages from the insectoid race, even though they were not too high grade.

Infact he had a few techniques from different species as well. ' Now, tell me, is there any other beasts your rank around here?' She nodded.

' There's one on the southern red plains, an iron boxing king kangaroo.' Ved nodded, ' Thank you.'

He pointed a claw at her forehead, she closed her eyes expecting the worst and he gently tapped her, he had just transferred the transformation technique to her head.

Although beasts and insectoids were different species entirely, the transformation technique worked for every non humanoid creature.

' That is your reward, serve me well and more will come.' although the technique had no combat ability, a human form gave them versatility.

Unfortunately Ved couldn't use it since he lacked essence. ' Now, for your first mission, you are to create a city of beasts and insectoids alike.

You will gather the scattered beasts under my name and construct a stronghold. You will unite them and in doing so you will remove the advantage humans have over us, unity.'

Her eyes opened wide, ' My lord seem to have grand ambitions.' Ved turned around and started walking off, his voice reached her before he disappeared through the dark tunnel.

' I'm merely trying to protect my own. You will receive your reward after you accomplish your mission.'

Then he left but he also he left his clones behind to give her more information on what he wanted her to build. He also left her with a piece of his scales that had his king's authority.

When he got out of the mountain caves he unfurled his wings and took to the sky. He flew south towards to the red plains.

It was situated over 45 thousand kilometres away and stretched for over 7 thousand kilometres itself.

He spread his soul sense as he flew above, it didn't take him long to find the one he was looking for.

A huge 4 metres tall kangaroo with shiny metallic red skin and muscles like steel. The kangaroo was air boxing, each of his punches sent massive airwaves that created huge ridges on the red ground.

' Quite powerful punches he has ' Ved gently floated to the ground and landed behind the kangaroo, he still didn't notice him which surprised him.

Perhaps it was the lack of threats as the strongest creature in Australia but his senses were ridiculously low.

Ved had to cough to draw his attention but before he could say anything else, he was slapped on the face by a tail and sent reeling 30 metres away.

His cheeks stung but that was it, his scales were too tough for an attack of that level to seriously wound him but it still hurt. ' That was really unwise of you.'

The kangaroo turned and looked at him, ' You want to fight? Huh huh? Okay, here I come.'

Ved mouth twitched, this guy had a.. unique personality, he didn't even ask who Ved was or what he wanted, just straight to challenging him to a fight.

He didn't even wait for him to agree, the ground shattered beneath the kangaroo's feet as he lunged at Ved.

He punched, Ved responded, he didn't use any of his traits, just pure physical strength. The fists collided and the kangaroo was sent flying back hundreds of metres away.

The shockwaves ripped the ground below them creating a massive crater. The maniac started grinning.

' You're strong, again.' he lunged at Ved again, a silver metallic boxing glove appeared around his fists, his muscles swelled and he punched again.

The air exploded infront of his fist and ignited from the friction. Ved slapped, the palm met the punch and a massive shockwave blasted out.

It spread out with them as the centre, the ground was ripped apart, winds howled and spun, stones flew through the air.

A massive tornado appeared and spun around them as the centre. Fast and sharp winds grinded the stone into dust and in a few moments they were surrounded by a sand storm.

The kangaroo started laughing maniacally, punch after punch was sent towards Ved who responded in kind. The air exploded around them, flames mixed with the sand storm creating a massive tornado of burning sand that rose to the sky.

Since he became a wyvern Ved had been able to stand on his hind legs and use his tail to balance himself, but he didn't usually do this since it limited his movements and it wasn't very comfortable.

However in this situation where there was no need to move around much, it was perfect. His punches flew out like a rain, a hint of king fu present in his attacks.

In a second they had already exchanged thousands of blows and everytime Ved came out on top.

And that was after the kangaroo used his essence to enhance his strength, While Ved was certain the kangaroo wasn't going all out, he was probably using around 40 to 50 percent of his strength.

Ved on the other hand was barely fighting back, he hadn't used a single ability or trait. Just as he was starting to enjoy the fight a little.

A giant rock flew through the sand storm and hit the kangaroo on the head. The fight stopped, the kangaroo looked scared, not real fear but more like a child caught being naughty.

' Sorry mate, the misses is here, I have run.' he kicked off the ground and tried to run.
