10x Rewards: Becoming Invincible With My Sign-in System

Chapter 154: Intelligence

The Tank's appearance shocked everyone, as nobody thought she would abandon her armour and use it this way. They didn't even realise when she had left her armour and entered the distant bushes.

The scene was supposed to cover all players' angles, so they couldn't even make sense of it. While many were confused, others analysed the match and came to their conclusion.

This sudden change in the game made many grip their seats tightly, as their gazes glued to the screen.

Aegon watched it as well, smiling as he remembered his past life once again. The times when games like these used to hype him up.

As someone who couldn't go outside, he never watched any outdoor sports. He played games on laptop and mobile, so he was pretty deep in the E-Sports side. This reminded him of those days.

'Now the question is, who can destroy the base quickly?'

Technically, House Thor should win as they had five players compared to a single Tank. But her armour was tough to crack, as when they finally managed to make the first layer crack, a second emerged.

But their damage was high, so it was tough to say confidently who would win.

There was no recall in Supremacy Games, so House Thor had two options. Either send someone back to deal with the Tank, or pour all their efforts into destroying the base.

They chose the latter.

"Insanity!" Cali licked her lips and smiled. "She has guts. I like that."

"But how did she escape our eyes?" Rosa asked. "It doesn't make sense unless she has some teleportation skills."

"I'll explain everything in a bit!" Aegon said, excitedly watching the game. "Let's just watch for now."

Seconds ticked by, as breaths stuck in people's lungs. They tensed up, waiting for the results as both Houses bombarded the bases with everything they had.

As the bar ticked by, the conclusion grew near.

And then it ended with a bang as Snow Domain's base exploded, as a monotonous voice sounded across all screens.

[Snow Domain's victory!]

House Ares had won, despite being at a disadvantage by playing with their opponent's minds.

Aegon knew the audience was most likely going crazy at the results. This became the first exciting match for them, after all. People weren't entertained by one-sided battles, but battles like these, especially if there was a plot twist.

Most of all, they would be wondering what actually happened.

"Impressive!" Elara said. "I can see a few things, but please explain. I'm confused on others."

"Yes, me too. I need explanation." Cali also agreed.

Aegon twirled his chair, turning to face them and smiled, "It's actually pretty interesting. I can't wait to battle them and find their mastermind."

"Stop creating suspense, Future Hubby!" Rosa cried out.

"Alright! Alright!"

Aegon threw another piece of pancake in his mouth and said,

"As you've noticed already, their core strategy centered around the Tank and they planned to pretend like they're losing from the start. Well, they didn't even really need to pretend as they would have lost without their strategy."

He pointed at the screen and said,

"That's why they slowly manipulated the enemies from the start. They made them believe in many things, like the Tank can only use ultimate up to 8 seconds and that she can't detach herself from that armour."

"But she did detach in a way," Elara pointed it out.

"Yes, I believe that was also their plan. To let the enemies destroy her armour and pretend that it takes over a minute to regenerate it. Without it, the Tank is useless, so they kept her in base for that one minute."

"That cost them a lot," Elara said.

"It did, but their leader was gambling away everything on their plan," Aegon smiled at that and continued. "But there were a few flaws. Like there was an instance where her ultimate lasted nine seconds instead of eight seconds."

"How do you even notice that? Such small details?" Cali asked, baffled.

"When you're a mage, you learn to understand the importance of these small details," Xavier answered her, as he came back to his seat, though his face looked sullen.

Aegon got curious about his treatment and decided to ask later in secret. For now, he just nodded and agreed with him.

Cali wasn't a proper mage. Instead, she was just someone who used the Mage Pathway to support her Body Pathway. So, she couldn't understand the mechanism of the Mage Pathway properly.

'Wait! She's been quite happy since meeting Rosa and Elara. They're both kinda similar to her, so did that cure her loneliness? Good for her.'

"In any case, there was another factor here that you all missed. It answers how she got there without anyone noticing," Aegon said, smiling. "Can anyone guess?"

"That Mage smiled before dying, so does she have something to do with this?" Elara said, remembering the last moments.

"Yup! She's been using rocks and meteors as her attacks, right? Guess where their root lies?" Aegon smiled and pointed downwards. "Earth!"

"Wait! You mean?" Cali's eyes widened in surprise.

"Yes, if you didn't notice then the Mage never left Mid Lane. She remained there, defending and creating a tunnel underneath without anyone's notice," Aegon said, chuckling to himself. "Minor details, but they helped me understand their plan."

"Really impressive!" Elara said. "We'll be careful in battle against them."

"We have Gon!" Xavier shrugged at her words. "He'll notice these small details and make much better plan. I'll just do everything he says."

"Same here!" Rosa giggled. "Strategy isn't my forte and I'll always listen to my future hubby anyways."

"Well, that leaves you once again to do all the work, Little Gon!" Cali smiled. "Good luck."

"You all really love dumping your responsibilities on me," Aegon's lips twitched, but then he smiled as well. "But I do want to win, so I'll do it."

"Oh, last question, why did they keep the Marksman behind the base?" Rosa asked, still confused. "He could have bought some time for his Tank, so it wouldn't be such a close victory."

"Really? Are you forgetting his ultimate?" It was Elara who answered. "His job was to keep everyone from going back to save their base. After all, he can send his spear to great lengths and also teleport there. If Snow Domain decided to send someone back, well they'd just be wasting time. That's why they chose to attack with everything."

"Makes sense. They really played well!"

"Great! Our next match has been announced. It's the fifteenth and the opponent... damn, I didn't think we would meet so quickly."
