10x Rewards: Becoming Invincible With My Sign-in System

Chapter 163: Meteore Fall

Taking five Rank 5 head-on was pure stupidity, especially since Aegon couldn't even defeat them one-on-one easily. It was basically a death sentence and even he knew it.

His friends were worried about it too, but they trusted him. If he really failed to defend the base, which seemed entirely possible because of the odds, then they would definitely lose.

After all, they still had a turret to destroy on either Lane and then the base. The Ash Domain would easily conquer the Snow Domain at this rate.

But they put their belief in his plan and attacked the Ash Domain's base with everything. It might have confused Gabriel, as their team paused for a moment before resuming their attack.

She was confident. Even if Aegon had displayed otherworldly prowess, there was no way for him to stand against the five of them.

She marched down with full confidence with the Knight, destroying all Turrets of the Mid Lane.

Aegon watched it all with a calm look on his face, his hands weaving a dense Rune Spell with sixteen complex layers. He didn't care in the slightest about what Gabriel was doing or rather, he couldn't focus on it even if he wanted to.

The spell his hands weaved was a Rank 4, something he rarely succeeded in, so he couldn't let even a second of concentration go to waste.

Timer ticked down above him, announcing his respawning getting nearer and nearer, just like Gabriel's shadow was getting bigger and bigger in the distance.

One by one, Rune Spheres formed, overlapping each other in complex patterns. Aegon's hands turned into a blur, as he smiled and poured his mana like crazy into the spell.

As they had reached Level 10, he had full access to his reservoir now. His immense, dense mana pool once again came in handy.

The last Turret fell and the Knight started killing off the last minions produced by the base. Gabriel's team waited at the edges to start the destruction.

Just then, the barrier lifted, letting Aegon free to enter the game once again.

"Bingo!"

Aegon stood up, a beautifully packed sphere swirling in his hand. Taking a step forward, he began floating up, easily reaching above the Dragon's statue.

By then, the minions were finished and Gabriel's team attacked the base with their everything as its HP bar trickled down. They didn't even bother with Aegon, as only the Assassin threw her knives at him.

Aegon waited, as he watched the destruction. Everyone thought he gave up, so they even used their ultimate to bring down HP faster.

Just as the base's HP bar reached close to thirty percent, Aegon smiled and declared:

"Meteor Fall!"

The Rune Sphere in his hand vanished, as the clouds above him split open, revealing a gigantic flaming rock descending with its full might.

Gabriel's eyes almost popped out of her sockets, as she cursed, "Damn it! How can he cast a Rank 4 Spell? It doesn't make sense. Especially with such power! It's impossible."

Even as she said that, she had already begun working to defend against the attack. She could sense the power behind this attack which was comparable even to top Rank 5 Spells.

She couldn't understand how Aegon did it, but that wasn't the priority now. Her Tank slammed his shield before them as it grew exponentially and covered all of them. She also transferred her last defense charm to the shield to make it more durable.

"I'm not done yet!" Aegon laughed, seeing their actions, and slammed both of his hands, sending a shockwave rippling through the air.

He didn't stop there, as he clicked his fingers, making the descent of the meteor faster. Then, he looked upwards and closed his eyes.

The next moment his eyes opened, blood trickled down from them, but he was still smiling.

The meteor above him suddenly caught black flames, making it seem even more menacing and horrifying.

The disaster finally impacted the battlefield, as it slammed onto the Tank's shield, shattering it in just over a second. Its flames spread everywhere, as it exploded in a powerful blast.

Mushroom-like smoke rose high into the air, separating the clouds for a second. Everywhere one looked, destruction followed. Yet even with all this, the battlefield remained intact, refusing to be damaged even in the face of disaster.

Aegon lost his flight in exhaustion and came down, panting heavily while being on one knee. Blood still covered his cheeks, as he slowly looked up at the sight of destruction.

Normally, this level of destruction would have many consequences, but this was the Supremacy Games. It even settled down the dust and dirt quickly, revealing a battered team of five, as they clung to their dear life.

But they had survived a terrible disaster. Even if their HP bar had dropped down to twenty percent or forty for the Tank and Gabriel.

She slowly stood up, wiping her face with a confident smirk. She proclaimed, "You failed, Aegon Augustus. Even your strongest attack couldn't help you win. Now watch as I conquer you."

Aegon quickly asked his team about their status and cursed, 'They just finished destroying the Turrets, so it'll take some time to destroy the base. We don't have that time.'

His eyes contained his usual tranquility, as he stood back up and thought, 'Guess I will just need to use it.'

Just as Gabriel's team was preparing to attack again, he laughed, drawing their attention and said, "You're right. My strongest attack couldn't take you all out. But you're forgetting something important."

Gabriel frowned, having a bad feeling about this, as she ordered, "Kill him!"

The Assassin dashed forward, but Aegon just laughed more in response and said, "This game favours versatility a lot. Really, a lot."

His gaze shifted toward the incoming Assassin as he said, "That means I can use multiple Ultimate."

He spun on his heels and smiled, his voice echoing through the whole Supremacy Games:

"Immortality!"

Blue aura burst out of Aegon's body, alerting every single presence on the battlefield. Even the battlefield itself trembled under this menacing aura.

Terror spread in their hearts, as the players couldn't even make out what to do before this aura. It filled them with primal fear, as if they were like ants, far beneath this superior creature.

And there stood Aegon, bathing in this aura with a chilling smile on his face.
