10x Rewards: Becoming Invincible With My Sign-in System

Chapter 164: Immortality

Everything happened so fast that nobody could even react. The moment Aegon's aura spread, everyone froze on their spots as if it carried a freezing effect with it. They couldn't help it because the fear came from their soul.

And before they knew it, Aegon launched himself at them, killing the Assassin with a single punch to her throat. That brought the others out of their fear, as they fired their attacks at Aegon.

Since they had already used their strongest ones before, they used other skills. None of them were weak, as every single skill could kill Aegon. But they soon noticed something weird.

Aegon didn't even try to dodge, as he basically rammed through the attacks like a madman. Many attacks landed on him, but the bluish aura around his body completely negated them, as if they didn't even exist for him.

Fear crawled back in their hearts, as they hesitated. And that was all Aegon needed to close the distance and begin his slaughter.

The first to fall was the Marksman, as he couldn't even form his lightning properly before a spike killed him instantly.

The second was the Fighter, who tried to attack with his spear but the bluish aura deflected all those attacks, shocking the fighter. Then Aegon slammed his hands on both sides of his head, killing him.

Left with only her Tank, Gabriel felt despair seeping into her bones, as she hurriedly commanded the Tank to block Aegon while she destroyed the base.

That was the best solution she could think of to stop this madness.

Alas, things rarely go as one plans.

The Tank had already lost his shield to Aegon's Meteor Fall, so now he only had his hammer. Sadly, his attacks didn't work on Aegon.

The bluish aura negated any and all attacks no matter how powerful they were. It was plain ridiculous.

Still, the Tank tried to put up a fight, only to lose in no time. His HP bar had already suffered from the previous attacks, after all.

The Snow Domain's Base's HP trickled down to 10%, as Gabriel repeatedly attacked it. The Knight was still alive somehow, so she could do her thing.

"I can't let you do that," Aegon muttered, arriving before Gabriel in an instant. Seeing her back away in fear, he smiled and said, "Remember to keep your arrogance in check from next time, Your Highness. Not everyone is as benevolent as me to forgive you for everything."

"Bastard! You aren't worthy enough to forgive someone like me! And you never did! You sent those soaps!" Gabriel cried out in fury, showing her true colours in moments of despair.

Now, she wasn't even pretending. She was letting her arrogance get to her head.

"If someone acts a role for too long, they become that character," Aegon said calmly, taking a step forward. "Seems like you finally crossed that stage, huh."

"Shut up!" Gabriel shouted, her gown tattered and even her hair came undone. She didn't look like an elegant princess like before. Not at all.

"Also, you shouldn't have called me that." Aegon shook his head helplessly. "You see, I have many possessive loved ones. Runs in blood, I guess. So, good luck dealing with the aftermath."

With that, he took out a dagger and stabbed her in the forehead, killing her instantly.

"Even if I don't like you, you have the fortune of being his granddaughter, so I won't humiliate you," Aegon muttered to himself, as the bluish aura around him diminished before vanishing completely.

Extreme exhaustion washed over him, as he fell on his knees while his minions dealt with the Knight and other minions. The Snow Domain wouldn't get destroyed anytime soon.

He lay flat against the ground, looking up at the snowy clouds as snowflakes graced his warm flesh and thought, 'That felt amazing.'

He wanted a moment of calmness but how was it possible with his friends around.

[Xavier: What in the seven blue hellfire fuck? How!? How did you do that?]

[Cali: Killing five Rank 5 so casually, that's my lil bro. Hahaha! Good job! I don't care how you did it, but you saved this team.]

[Elara: As always, you tend to create miracles so randomly. While I'm curious, take some rest. You need it. Leave the rest of it on us.]

[Rosa: Ahh! I'm getting wet! Hubby! You're so cruel! Why do you have to be so cool while we're not in a relationship? I'm all turned on and can't even do anything about it. Aghh! This cruelty but it's also turning me on. Damnit!]

Aegon was left speechless, so he didn't even reply to them. Still, a smile played on his lips, as he realised they had passed through a major hurdle. Together.

It didn't take long before he heard the familiar message, as his surroundings began to surge in a massive blizzard.

[The Snow Domain Has Won The Match!]

Aegon noticed the Eight-Winged Dragon's eyes being lit up, as the blizzard grew in size before consuming the whole Ash Domain.

He closed his eyes, letting his consciousness slip back to the real world, in the familiar crimson-walled room.

Sighing, he opened his eyes and slumped on the chairs. Before anyone could say anything, he raised his hand and said, "Later. I need some sleep for now."

His friends turned silent and simply did a high five before joining him. Even without words, they could sense each other's feelings at the moment, so they simply enjoyed it.

Tranquility returned to their group.

....

The whole Sanctum buzzed with noise, as everyone discussed the match with full enthusiasm. They were already too excited, and when the battle actually happened, they had lots of things to say and argue on.

Nobles lived a pretty yet boring lifestyle, so they were very fond of entertaining things. One of the reasons why Opera Houses were gaining so much popularity.

Still, nothing could match the current craze.

When the first fight happened between the Gold Laners, they erupted in cheers. Who didn't want to see the Elf Princess in action?

When the Healer died, they were disappointed, only for him to change the situation completely.

The Sanctum was ablaze with excitement throughout the match.
