10x Rewards: Becoming Invincible With My Sign-in System

Chapter 174: Coordination

Round two ended, leaving only sixteen teams behind. All of them were the best of the bests and it showed by the fact that they made it in top sixteen of all.

Those sixteen included five God Houses, one Imperial, Aegon's House and many other top Houses. There were even two Dark Horses who managed to get in top sixteen despite coming from a relatively weaker House.

In the short break, Aegon's team was told of their next opponent which happened to be one of those two Dark Horses, which made them quite happy.

They were confident in winning against them as they were mostly an odd mixture of Rank 4 and Rank 5, but they didn't lower their guard.

Even such teams could have trump cards they might use to defeat them using their moment of carelessness.

What truly interested Aegon was how House Ares was once again paired against a Gods' House. And House Freyja was against the other Dark Horse.

As for the top dominating team of current Supremacy Games, Raphael was facing one of the strongest God's House, House Zeus, making their match the most anticipated in Round Three.

Soon after, the Third Round began with their match, earning cheers and excited shouts from everyone.

Other teams, even those eliminated, paid full attention to their match.

Aegon also observed their match, trying to see through everything they were using in the match. Especially their battle tactics. The more he watched their fights, the more he realised that there was no battle tactics among them.

"That guy trained them well," Aegon said, smiling faintly at that realisation.

"What do you mean?"

"His team members aren't selected from the students," he answered. "That guy trained them for years alongside him and then had them enter the Academy, to make it seem like he picked up great talents in the Academy. That it's his leadership and their power which brought them victory. What a crafty fellow."

"You mean, they grew up with him or something like that?" Elara asked, a little confused. "It isn't against the rules though."

"It isn't, but this won't show the world his leadership skills and clean eyesight." Aegon answered. "Their coordination alone tells me enough that they've been training together for a decade probably. Even before they officially stepped on their Pathways."

"Synergy!" Elara's eyes lit up hearing that.

"Yup, they also use a formation while fighting which depends heavily on their coordination. Coupled with their sheer strength, it's not a miracle even if they won Supremacy Games." Aegon said, staring at the smiling face of the Fifth Prince on screen.

"That guy... he had been preparing for years just to shine on this platform and let the world know of his existence. He wants the claim to that throne and for that, he needs people supporting his cause. This is his first step."

"Man, having siblings like him sounds so scary. They'll kill me in my sleep," Xavier shivered just thinking of that.

"It's an inevitable situation with ruling families," Elara said, adjusting herself to her chair. "When a family rules for long, this happens as political marriages are inevitable too. The person sitting on the throne has to marry many, which results in many children and then many to fight for the throne."

"Oh yeah, you're a princess too but you never explained the internal structure of Elves," Xavier tilted his head slightly. "Do you also have competition like this?"

"My situation is way more complicated than this," Elara sighed in dejection. "Even without that I don't have much problems like these because we live long and it's already a miracle if each generation has an heir."

"The elves are the second most fucked up race after Valerians in reproduction, after all," Aegon said. "They have other problems though. Such long living beings aren't gonna be right in their heads."

"Let's not talk about them." Elara said, trying to change the subject. "How do we beat them then? Will your formation still work?"

"El, are you really forgetting it?" Aegon rolled his eyes and said. "Even if they trained together, do you really think they can match our coordination? We can basically move like different limbs of the same body, so don't worry there."

"I'm happy you included me in this, Future Hubby," Rosa grin widened, her whole mood improving.

"As for their power, it'll work in our favour," Aegon's grin matched with Rosa, as he said. "The more powerful they are, the better for us. Well, as long as we can hold them back for a while. If we get defeated instantly, then there's no point."

"Don't worry, we'll win!"

Then, they focused back on the match, occasionally roasting both teams as they laughed and had fun with each other.

House Zeus was indeed a very rough adversary, as they were strong enough to push even Raphael's team back. But still, it wasn't enough to win against such a teamwork in games focused on team battles.

After a blood pumping battle of more than an hour, House Imperial finally managed to conquer the other domain and advanced to Round Four.

The eliminated teams like House Zeus would have more chances to prove themselves once the main Supremacy Games ended, but for now, their path on Supremacy Games had ended.

"Looks like next match is ours." Aegon said, standing up. "Let's smash them."

Their next battle against the Dark Horse proved to be easier than they expected. The opponents were crafty and used schemes to take them down but Aegon analysed their moves, remembering even fine details and easily saw through their moves.

This was an advantage he shared because of Perfect Memory and spending so much time in learning about Runes and their working. His mind had learned to remain calm and analyse everything properly and find the solution.

With such a busted team, coordination that didn't need words, teammates who had perfect trust in their leader's decision and Aegon's brain, they easily won the round.

Though it was also because Aegon tried harder than he expected himself to do. After all, the opponent team had a Healer from House Verdant, which made all of his team pumped up.

The Healer got beaten black and blue, once again showing the world their grudge. And then they proceeded to conquer the Ash domain.

Just like that, Aegon's Team advanced to Top Eight, the Round Four of Supremacy Games.
