"W-what?" – said the man as he started regaining his consciousness.

"WAIT! WHAT THE FUCK!?" – shouted the hooded human who regained his conscious, realizing he was being dragged by the golem soldiers.

"Shut the fuck up! Don't fucking provoke them!" – said the beast-human at front who was also getting dragged alongside 4 other people.

"They are not reaction... So, I think you can scream….." – said the voice behind the awoken man.

'?!"

"How can you be so- "

"!?"

The awoken man looked behind himself, noticing the barely alive human with a missing hand and foot while also badly bleeding from both spots that had part of their body missing.

"Yea…..I can't really scream….." – said the bleeding man.

"Anyway…. It is better for you to not struggle….."

"W-what happened? Why are we getting dragged!?" – said newly awoken man as he looked around in panic.

"Where is everybody!? Did they escaped?!"

"How long you were unconscious for?" – asked the man at front.

"?"

"Unconscious?" – said confused man.

(When….. When did I've lost....!)

(Wait!)

(I remember!)

"The leader gave order to retreat…. And we tried to run away…. But in the next moment I saw one of those weird ball things and then….. I think it exploded?"

"Then…. Everything…."

"Ah… I get it…. You were the first one who tried to get out and got ambushed." – said the bleeding man.

"I think you got lucky that you weren't just killed on the spot by the explosions and just instead get knocked out."

"So I guess you didn't knew what happened…."

"We were trapped." – said the man at front.

"These weird bug ball things just waited near the exit, waiting for anybody to try and leave that room, and once somebody did tried? They just dropped on top of them and blew up."

"And the ones from other side….. They killed the leader….. The knight looking guys…. They murdered him."

"Afterwords things ended up extremely chaotic."

"Mages tried blasting these bomb things away from the entrance so we could escape, but they had no time do it."

"They were forced to use their magic on the monsters, trying to stop them in tracks and buy themselves time…..But they were not stopping….."

"We were able to taken down the smaller ones….. But as you can see…. We didn't took a single one of these knight looking ones…."

"Some mages tried in desperation taking down the bombs… But it instead screwed us over as the formation we had instantly collapsed."

"It was a mess… We were getting slaughtered."

"However, stupid mages were still focused on the bombs…. They took them down…. But it was too late."

"We were all almost eliminated."

"Those who remained were either surrounded or too injured to move….. But those that were still okay? They tried taking a break for it…. But unfortunately, they were all shot down and then they were just chased down by these things next to you."

The man looked to his side and noticed a four legged golem resembling a beast with its sharp sets of metallic fangs and blades that were sticking out from their paws.

[Golem Hound]

"These things suddenly appeared the moment the bombs were taken care off….. They knew…. They knew that they would get rid off the bombs…. And the moment we did, they just chased us down." – said the man at back.

"They ripped us apart…. "

"And they didn't just chased people that tried to escape, no."

"More golems showed up that joined the fighting against people that were still in the room….."

"In the end…..Nobody has escaped…."

"We 5 are all that is left from our group."

"But….."

"B-but why are we alive?!" – said the shocked man in the middle.

"Heh…. We don't bloody know…. They suddenly stopped murdering us and instead tried taking us somewhere….. Originally there was 8 of us…. But… They kind of couldn't take it anymore with their injuries... And I think I maybe the next one to join them…." – said the bleeding man as his voice started getting weaker.

"H-hey! Are you alright!? Dude!?" – asked the worried man in the middle as he realized that the bleeding man was starting to feel worse with each passing moment.

"You don't have time to worry about him." – said the man at front.

"Instead, worry about yourself….. I don't know where they are taking us…. But I know one thing."

"We are heading deeper into the dungeon."

The entire saboteur group was completely annihilated by the golems.

The leader of the group as well as most of its members were eliminated by the golems…. And the remaining 5 members? They were kidnapped and dragged throughout dungeon, scared of the unknown that would awaits them….. And then finally, they arrived.

A set of familiar looking double door.

The doors opened up and the group was dragged in by the golems.

And what awaited them inside?

A monster.

A giant humanoid like creature resembling a golem, with 6 eyes and four gazing eye gem like eyes staring at the group.

However, this being eyes and arms weren't the only thing that stood out.

Its entire design.

The design of arms, legs, torso and even head, it was far superior than any other golem they had encountered so far, giving the golem a special form of appearance.

But it wasn't all…. No. They could feel it. They knew that beside looking nothing alike to any other monsters they had encountered in the dungeon, they could feel something.

All 5 of them could feel exactly same thing.

DREAD

(The fuck is this?) – thought the hooded man who was knocked unconscious before.

(We were brought to this thing!? Why?!)

(What is it even in the first place!?)

Thauma took out a small piece of paper and began writing on it, instantly alarming the entire group who was being held down by the golems.

After finishing up writing on the piece of paper, Thauma gently put the piece of paper right in front of the group and then pointed at it with his finger.

"Can you read this? If yes, then say yes."

"!?"

(Wait….. It is trying to communicate!?) – thought the panicking man.

"…"

(I honestly….. I honestly didn't believed it.) – thought Thauma.

(I've managed to have my golems capture somebody alive without killing them?!)

(Honestly, I've thought they will get killed before I've get a chance to issue a capture command or that they would suffer too much damage and just die from their injuries….. But by the looks of things, it worked?)

(Or was it way easier than I've thought?)

(Did I've thought my chances were way off the mark?)

(It doesn't matter that I was completely wrong in this regard.)

(The one thing that matters right now is that I did it!)

(I've captured somebody and managed to bring them here, to me, completely bounded and secured.)

(Normally Ariava would tell me what was going on in outside world, but after she left me, I was left completely blind.)

(I did not knew one bit what was going on in the outside world.)

(All I could do is make speculations...)

(But then I've thought.)

(What if I somehow have somebody tell me what is going on outside?)

(What if I capture people from outside and force them to tell me what is going on outside?)

(And then I've realized.)

(This is was one of the reason why Ariava was so focused on making me learn how to speak and learn.)

(She wanted me to learn how to get informations out of people...)

The group didn't replied and instead they just stared at the dungeon master with a shock and fear, still not being able to comprehend the situation.

However, as soon as Thauma moved towards the group, the captured beastman spoke up.

"YES! WE UNDERSTAND!" – shouted the beastman in panic.

Thauma stared at the beastman and approached him, causing the man to start shaking in panic.

"I have questions and you all will answer them." – Thauma written its sentence once again on the piece of paper.

"If you answer all of my questions, you will be let go."

"If you lie, deceive or tell incorrection informations, I will torture you until you die."

"Do you understand?"

"!?"

"Y-yes!" – replied people in panic.

(Dammit! There is no mistaking it!) – thought the beast-human.

(This guy has intelligent unlike the monsters from before!)

(He is the real dungeon master!)

"First question." – Thauma written down.

"Who are you working for?"

"Kingdom of Marok or kingdom of Garmfon?"

"…Kingdom of Garmfon." – replied beast-human.

Thauma suddenly extended one of his hands and lifted up the beast-human by his neck with ease.

"I-I'm not lying! I'm really part of Garmfon kingdom!" – said the panicking beast-human as he had trouble breathing.

"W-w-we all are!"

Thauma let go of the man, making him fall down on the ground before then getting quickly pinned down by 3 of Thauma hands.

"Liar." – replied Thauma.

"I know you killed soldiers who were outside that belonged to Garmfon kingdom."

"You are from the Marok kingdom."

Thauma began slowly putting more pressure with his hands, making the man start loudly screaming in pain.

"NO! PLEASE LISTEN!" – shouted the human.

"We all were from Garmfon kingdom, but we were not part of same faction!"

"We were enemies!"

(Shit! We have no choice but to speak up whole truth or he will rip us apart!)

"What does that mean?" – asked Thauma as it let go of the man, allowing him to somewhat try and regain his breath.

"…. T-the Garmfon kingdom is currently divided into two factions…. Royal faction and noble faction." – said the human.

"We are working for the noble faction, while the soldiers outside were part of royal faction."

"They were our enemies and we were told to hunt them down."

"And we did."

"…"

(This doesn't make sense.) – thought Thauma.

(They were not part of….. No… A lot of the members of this group had both beast-humans and beastmen.)

(I've should had realized something was off.)

(But if that is the case, why is the kingdom of Garmfon fighting itself?)

(I need to figure out everything.)

(I need to find out everything that is happening in the outside world right now.)
