MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary TimeKeeper

Chapter 122: Raven's Delicacy

The words she had repeated more than a hundred times in the past 3 minutes echoed in her mind. Her steps took her towards the grapevines, while her eyes focused on the fruits, before she paused about two meters away.

They were beautiful. Slightly enchanting.

"Li mae Horus? (Can I have some of them?)" She asked with slight curiosity, following the steps as Ezekiel guided her to.

[7 MP consumed for using Ancient Language!]

Sure enough, it worked.

Her eyes widened at the message, making it difficult to believe what she had just witnessed. Despite already seeing Ezekiel doing it more than a dozen times, when she had done it, it felt like a whole new world of possibilities.

He refused me the last time. Raven thought, recalling the time when she had asked Ezekiel about the language before.

"It's going to take too much time, which I don't have enough to spare," he had responded at that time.

Should she count herself lucky? Maybe she should. The sect had asked her to look into this language, and personally, she was interested in it.

Raven knew the importance of this language. It was probably the most important thing in this game. Similar to a master key to all the things in Arcadia.

If she were to learn it herself, she might even reach the heights of this game. It was all the more important considering that one day she would run away from the sect. A path towards securing her future. And her freedom.

Raven looked at the vines untangling themselves. The smaller ones moved back while the bigger ones moved forward, shaping themselves like a miniature mouth before words echoed from its movements,

"Il emaon oena lmk aleua?"

Raven had no idea what it meant. Ezekiel did not say anything more than necessary.

"MLi eanlj a lua oh. Aoeaj lmeak. Elaj nao pja. Ameon angaojn. Liaem?(I want to eat them because they are pretty. I am thirsty and hungry. And I do not have anything else to eat. So, I wanted to eat them as they looked really tasty. Can I?" She said the second verse she had learnt. Repeating each word as it is, while keeping its meaning in her mind.

[You have consumed all of your remaining mana to use the Arcadian Language!]

Her mana immediately reached zero, though she couldn't bother with it. For her focus was taken by the laughing grapevines. They seemed to giggle with joy before saying words that nobody but Ezekiel can understand.

"Milea n liea mia. eaon. LEAm! Aepija!"

Then, slowly, a bunch of grapes descended downward and forward, in the direction of Raven. She put up her hands, receiving those grapes gracefully, before turning to the grapevines once again.

"Mliea nlja ipa," they said for one last time, before returning still. As if they never moved before.

Following Ezekiel's advice, she then began eating those grapes one by one.

This!!!

The sweetness blessed her mouth, while the slight tingling sourness enhanced the taste. It was refreshing. Tastier than anything she had in her entire life.

With a blissful yet erotic expression, she continued eating the grapes without any pause. Savouring its flavour, enjoying every bit of it.

The gazers, from the stream, and those who were present, gulped. Half of the stream was already in love with her, while the others wanted to know the taste of those grapes.

Even Blaze was almost in love. Whether it was the grapes or Raven was another question.

Trisha… well, she was drooling.

Looking at the skill, Raven couldn't help but smile. She licked the last bit of the grapes' taste from her lips before wiping it from the back of her hand.

Passive Constitution, HP and MP regeneration are good. But the stamina one is really great. With this, most of the skills that I can perform in real life can also be mimicked here. She pondered the gift that she had received before deciding to show it to the rest of the party.

Raven had planned to carry a few stamina potions with her before, but with this skill, it didn't seem like she needed to do that anymore.

She moved towards Ezekiel before saying a polite thank you. Both for teaching her the bits of Ancient Language and also helping her get this reward. Then, as she turned towards the others in the party…

What's wrong with them? She questioned a bit, puzzled as she saw them all turning red for some reason. The only one who was maintaining contact with her was Trisha, who took out a handkerchief and wiped the grapefruit juice that was left on her face below the lips.

Raven got embarrassed a little. But maintaining the same poker face in the next moment, she then shifted the topic, immediately showing the rewards she had received. It amazed them just like the others before they congratulated her.

Now, the last two left to receive the reward were G and Link.

That is, if Ezekiel was not to be included.

Link was excited. Anticipation was visible on his face as he focused on Ezekiel, waiting for him to take his name. If everyone else turned quiet, they could even hear his heartbeat beating loudly with excitement.

As for G., he was in a dilemma. Just like Trisha, he did not like having people's favour. All the more if he could not return it. So confused whether to take the gift or not, he continued to contemplate it for a few more seconds before deciding to take it. All the more if he could not return them.

Perhaps in the future, he would get more chances to repay Ezekiel? At the very least, taking this gift means he could protect Trisha even better than before.

Ezekiel looked at the garden before turning back to both of them. And then after a little bit of contemplation, he added.

"All right. Since there are two items that can suit either of you, I will give both of you a choice. Are you ready?"
