Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three shots echoed through the room as Silas tried to take Philip out, but Philip was too fast, and he dodged it and unleashed three shots of his own toward Silas! Silas also managed to dodge the bullets and he continued to run toward Philip until the two of them were standing only a few feet away from each other! Silas immediately lashed out with his knife, and Philip used his forearm to stop the slash before going in with a slash of his own! The two men descended into a deadly fight of knives and bullets as they tried their best to take the other person out!

Even though Silas didn't have any formal military training, he was still one of the most capable non-affiliated Cleaners in the city, and this meant he was more than strong enough to stand up to anyone in a knife and gun fight! He parried, swiped, and shot at Philip like a madman hellbent on murder, and Philip endured the constant barrage of attacks with a stoic look of concentration! Philip managed to easily evade all of Silas's attacks, and he was slowly pushing Silas back towards a corner, but even though there were some openings that Philip had seen that would allow him to end this fight in one swing or shot, Philip knew that he couldn't take them.

The reason for this was simple: Dante had asked Philip to bring Silas in alive. The family needed to figure out what the Bellegrinis' plans were, so they wanted to interrogate Silas and find out what he knew. So even though at this moment Philip was the better killer and he had many chances to end this, he had to figure out how to deal with this situation without taking Silas' life!

"You think you can stop me! You Lucas are nothing but relics! When we're done with your family, you won't even have a footnote in the history of this city!"

Silas shouted this as he tried to slash his dagger across Philip's neck, but Philip easily leaned back to avoid it, and he ducked to the side to avoid a bullet! Silas had started to laugh mockingly as the fight drew out without Philip doing anything to stop him, and Philip noticed that Silas' amusement had made his concentration slip! Silas had been putting up sloppy defenses before, but now it was almost like he wasn't bothering to put up any defenses at all, and he was just relying on his attack to drive Philip back! And this lack of concentration finally gave Philip the opening that he had been looking for! Philip clenched his fist around the handle of his knife, and he drove the knife towards Silas's neck! Silas noticed the attack easily, and he quickly dodged it and tried to shoot Philip, but Philip ducked to the side in one smooth motion, and Silas felt his eyes widen when he noticed the position that they were in!

'My ribs!'

Silas had been so focused on his attack that he left his ribs wide open! And Philip was not the sort of person to miss such an opportunity!

SLAM!

Philip's fist slammed into Silas' side with the force of a fucking bull, and Silas felt his entire body explode with pain! Three of Silas' ribs immediately cracked from the insane punch, and Silas was taken off his feet and thrown back through the air before he slammed into the ground a few meters away!

SLAM!

Silas coughed as his gun and knife fell from his hand, and he held his ribs in pain while trying to catch his breath! What the hell was that!? Was that a punch from another human being!? Silas had felt many punches in his life before, but this was the first time he would feel something this powerful!? It felt like someone had run into him with a fucking truck! Silas thought that this man was just another gangster that he could handle with a few minutes of fighting, but it was obvious that Silas was wrong! This wasn't just another regular gangster! This was a fucking freak of nature!

Philip walked up to Silas and stood over him with that same stoic look on his face. Philip knew that physical strength didn't always determine how a fight would play out since there were many weapons that could kill you regardless of how powerful you were. But if there was one thing that Philip was very confident in, it was the fact that he would never lose to anyone else in a test of physical strength. Dante might be the most dangerous member of the Lucas family, but when it came down to pure physical strength, no one could match the brutal force that Philip possessed!

Silas was writhing on the ground while holding his side in pain, and Philip looked around to see how the fighting was going with the other Cleaners. The warehouse had almost been cleaned out already, so Philip was sure that it would only take a few more minutes before they were done here. Most of the enemy gangsters had run away when they saw that they were seriously outclassed by the Lucas Cleaners, and they left the men from the Bellegrini family to fight all alone. This was the issue with gangsters who didn't have any affiliation with one of the three big families. These gangsters cared more about preserving their own lives than they cared about anything else, so if there was ever a conflict, there was every possibility that the men would just abandon you and run away once things weren't going their way. There was no loyalty to be found on the streets!

"You think you'll get away with this? Kill me, and the streets of Stocham will run red with blood! My boss won't let you go for touching me!"

Silas seethed up at Philip in anger as he tried to scoot back away from him, but Philip slammed his foot into Silas' broken ribs, and Silas screamed as he felt intense pain shoot through his entire body! Philip spoke with narrowed eyes.

"You overestimate how important you are, Silas. You aren't even part of any of the big families, and you think the streets will run red for you? As far as the bastards you're working with are concerned, you're only relevant for as long as you're useful, and no one is useful when they're dead."

Silas grit his teeth and glared up at Philip in anger, and Philip kicked the bastard in the ribs to make him drop his fucking eyes! Silas screamed again and cursed at Philip, but Philip didn't bother to respond to the idiot as he turned around to call on one of his men.

PHWOOM!

But before he could even call out, a sudden harsh wind cut across the warehouse and tore through the area like a tsunami! Philip put his hand up to his face in shock when he felt the wind, and he immediately wondered what the hell was going on here! Why the fuck was there so much wind inside a building!?

WOOSH!

The wind suddenly blew towards one of the Lucas family groups at the side, and all the men were thrown up into the air before being tossed across the warehouse like ragdolls!

BOOM!

They slammed into the wall with grunts, and the wind changed targets and blew towards another group! This time, the group was thrown out the door of the warehouse, and then the wind continued like this and kept throwing all the men down! Philip could only watch with shock written all over his face as he tried to understand what was going on! The wind was acting like it had a mind of its own, and Philip couldn't even begin to wrap his head around what could be causing something like this!

'Is this some sort of machine? This doesn't make any sense!'

Philip took a step back while holding his gun in front of him, but a loud laugh came from behind him and made him turn around sharply! He saw that it was Silas who had been laughing, and Philip narrowed his eyes as Silas shouted!

"You're really doomed now! This is it for you fucking Lucas! You thought you could just come in here and do whatever you wanted without consequences!? Well, think again! The Djinn is going to kill all of you! You might've beaten me, but you're nothing in front of magic!"

'Magic?'

Philip's eyes narrowed immediately once he heard the word 'magic', and he watched as Silas descended into another fit of laughter. The winds had finally thrown most of the men to the ground or out of the building, and Philip raised his gun and pointed it forward as he saw a silhouette forming from the winds swirling around the building. The silhouette slowly formed the shape of a man, and Philip waited patiently to see what would appear from there.
