The moment the cloaked figure sealed the tear and erased the eye from the sky, the momentum of the battle changed.
The dragons, still gasping from the pressure, watched as the Chaos Immortals turned away from them. The barrage of chaos spells ceased.
Instead, their target had changed... The entire fleet, consisting of airships, flying chaos beasts, and Immortals, redirected their attention toward the lone figure hovering above Clovis.
They were now focused on Vale, or so they believed.
Kent's eyes were filled with satisfaction. "Ignore the dragons. They've served their purpose. Focus everything on him."
Arin nodded, already gathering Chaos energy in his palms. "This is it, then."
They've been waiting for this Shadow Immortal after all. If Vale was dealt with, then they could guarantee that the Asura, Angel, the Dragons, even the creator of the Magic Automatons and Airships would be theirs!
Nyssa didn't speak. She briefly checked Haruo's bindings and sure enough, she could use the seal lator on to make him fight Vale.
However, that wasn't needed yet. She planned to use Haruo in case of emergency since he would be a variable that Vale wouldn't expect.
Then, she swiftly started moving as she turned to her team. They needed to ensure that they created a strong Chaos Field to stop Vale's attempt to use teleportation or spells that had a similar ability…
"You will not escape…" She muttered.
The dragons didn't intervene. They were recovering, and they understood the strategy… They had to quickly leave this place…
Since Vale had entered the field, the Chaos Immortals had no intention of letting him leave, and they could use it to their advantage.
Kent raised his hand, and the fleet responded.
Airships shifted formation, surrounding the Shadow Immortal in a wide formation…
Chaos Beasts moved into position, forming a living perimeter.
The sky darkened as well, not from Vale's shadow divinity, but from the sheer number of spells being prepared!
"Seal the domain," Kent ordered. "Collapse the shadows. The Shadow Domain is ours!"
The Chaos Immortals obeyed!
A huge formation circle suddenly spread outward, and it came from the main Airship!
It covered a huge region in the air and covered Vale… Aside from the Chaos Field that Nyssa had created, this Formation Circle was also designed to suppress spatial movement, disrupt shadow manipulation, and sever dimensional anchors.
In short, not even a Void Immortal could easily pass through this place…
It was a forbidden formation since it sacrificed a huge amount of blood to make it work… Normally, it would be reserved for sealing high-level monsters in the Shattered Expanse to ensure their survival…
But Kent didn't care. The biggest threat of this content was Vale. With the Shadow Divinity that he had, there was no doubt about it.
"This is overkill… However, I can feel the Netherflame on that cloak he's wearing… He's likely related to the Death God…" Arin muttered, watching the formation stabilize.
Indeed, the black cloak that Vale was wearing wasn't just any fabric... it was the Netherflame that was acting like a fabric protecting his body.
"Right… It's necessary," Kent replied. "He's strongest in the Shadow Domain. We can't underestimate him. Someone who can command a Dragon, Asura, and Angel wasn't a normal figure."
Well, he spoke based on his experience. In Shattered Expanse, where they were exiled, only the top 3 Factions could command the Space Dragons and other powerful Dimensional Creatures that could be equal to high-level Fallen Angels in that place.
Their Faction in the Expanse wasn't even within the Top 50!
Now that they had a clear picture of Vale's power, there was no way they would make any more mistakes!
However, Vale didn't move.
He hovered in silence as he watched all the spells coming at him…
Chaos Immortals unleashed their Arts… These were familiar spells thrown to the Dragons as well. They were Soul Sever, Void Collapse, Mind Fracture, Havoc Fire, Strife Soul, Chaos Heart, and dozens more.
With so much Chaos Energy, the space itself was already twisting... As if another tear in space would appear at any moment…
However, Vale raised a hand and cast his Spell Dispersion… It was a Level 10 or a perfect realm Spell that could disperse any form of Arcane Spell.
But the ones he was targeting weren't a normal Spell but an Immortal Spell!
It means that the Spell Dispersion had a longer delay to remove the Spells that were inside his range of spells.
Still, he was able to remove more than 20 or so Spells coming at him before he had to cast a wall of darkness, absorbing the following wave of Spells...
Unfortunately, the second wave broke through. The Chaos Energy was simply too much, and it destabilized the shadows around him. The third wave struck his core directly.
The dragons flinched.
Ravion muttered, "They're not holding back."
Veyrith frowned as he looked at the Shadow Immortal… "They really want him gone."
To be honest, they were also impressed. After all, the one up there was only an Avatar with very limited Shadow Divinity, but despite that, he was able to survive from the numerous Spells plus the suppression coming from the powerful Formation Arts!
It was something they couldn't understand…
Still, he was the most powerful within the Shadow Domain for a reason.
After surviving the attack, Vale vanished.
Despite the Suppression, his Presence Shift was already at the Perfect Realm…
He reappeared behind the first cluster of Immortals… Before they could react, he raised his hand and invoked Shadow Mutilation… It was a Celestial Art that didn't target the body, but the shadow beneath it. With a single gesture, the shadows of seven Immortals were severed, and their bodies collapsed instantly, lifeless and intact!
"Behind us!" one of the Immortals shouted, but it was too late.
Vale charged forward again. He summoned True Astral Chains!
Ethereal bindings appeared out of nowhere, wrapping around a dozen Immortals mid-cast. The chains didn't just restrain their movement but also drained them!
Their Chaos energy began to falter as their bodies weakened…
Unfortunately, there were too many of them… Kent didn't care about the few lives that were lost as the fourth wave of attack shattered Vale's defenses…
Vale's body was struck by a dozen spells simultaneously.
Chaos energy tore through his cloak, pierced his aura, and collapsed his shadow field...
Kent watched… He wasn't planning to celebrate at all…
"Don't stop," he said. "Until there's nothing left."
The fifth wave came. This time, Kent finally released his own Spell.
The spell collapsed inward, folding space around Vale's position, locking him in a prison…
Then… there was only silence.
The sky cleared, and the shadows that Vale commanded had dispersed.
The figure was finally gone.
Kent exhaled slowly…
"It's done." He muttered.
However, it was at this point that Mennena's spirit arrived and realized what had happened!
"You fool!"
