My Life with Narration

Chapter 84: Da Huang's Lifelong Nemesis

As the saying goes, a person without foresight will worry about immediate troubles. Ever since he moved into the new home, his cohabitation life with Da Huang officially began.

In the bathroom downstairs, Su Qing sat on the toilet with a constipated expression, looking at Da Huang at the door:

"Can you stop watching? Scram!"

Da Huang: "Woof~~woo~woof!" [Eating poop is a dog's nature, but Da Huang is currently disdaining you for taking too long on the toilet.]

A heavy and magnetic narration echoed, and Su Qing's facial expression improved a bit.

Otherwise, he would have thought this dog wanted to take advantage. It seems like he should develop the habit of closing the door even when living alone; otherwise, a dog might take advantage of it.

"Just wait for a bit, almost done. Watching me won't make it come out faster. Go away!" Su Qing shouted.

Who lets themselves be watched while pooping, even if it's a dog? That's just not right.

Besides, his dog is definitely quirky. By the second day after moving here, apart from the forced morning exercises, Su Qing was more than satisfied with the place.

Thankfully, the forced morning exercises weren't without gain. These past two days, he gathered more and more footage of Da Huang on his phone. In just a few days, tales of a road-blocking dog spread around the nearby park.

Some said a dog blocks the way and you need to offer food to pass, with grilled sausages being the best option.

Some said it's a flirtatious dog targeting young, pretty girls.

Of course, some also said it's two single dogs looking for a match.

Though the stories hadn't spread far, it showed how many girls Da Huang had approached in these days.

At this moment, Su Qing was sitting in front of the living room's floor-to-ceiling window, with a laptop in front of him, looking a bit conflicted.

He was wondering whether he should change his style, from a film blogger to a pet blogger.

[Change might be difficult, but the result is worth the risk]

Upon hearing the narration, he thought of the pitiful view count of his film videos. Su Qing gritted his teeth and decided to step out of his comfort zone, try a new style, since he has other income sources and isn't in a rush.

Thinking about it, he clicked to upload a newly edited video.

[Da Huang's fate took a turn; from now on, it's not just an ordinary dog, but a... working dog]

Su Qing: ???

Hearing the narration in his mind, he was a bit confused. A working dog? Besides police dogs, he's never seen a dog that works.

Moreover, what's the point of it working? Is it supposed to support him?

Thinking of this, Su Qing chuckled and shouted at Da Huang, who was pretending to be dead next to him: "Let's go, time for a walk!"

No sooner had he finished speaking, Da Huang transformed from a lazy sprawl into a spirited wolf on a mission. Scrabbling its paws against the smooth floor, it pivoted 180 degrees to grab its leash in its mouth, looking at him with excitement.

Su Qing had no further words, quickly dressed, and took the dog out for a walk.

Meanwhile, after he left, the short video of Da Huang began to slowly go viral.

Su Qing's account didn't have many followers, only barely surpassing ten thousand after the previous college entrance event, yet the moment he updated, quite a few people got notified.

Soon, those who received notifications were surprised to find it wasn't the familiar film commentary but a dog.

Upon clicking it, everyone became engrossed, and the video showed Da Huang employing various tactics to flirt: giving flowers, hugging legs, and even mooching off food and drinks with its owner.

Moreover, it specifically targeted young, pretty girls, sometimes to the point where it couldn't be pulled away.

"A dog that has participated in the college entrance exam is truly different; it's even able to flirt?"

"I've discovered I don't even have a dog that can flirt!"

"Alright, I've learned. Where can I get a dog?"

"Author, if I had such a dog, I'd be out of singleshood long ago. What a great opportunity—get the WeChat contacts!"

"Yeah, keep updating like this until the end. Don't post unrelated content, like your film videos."

"Has Da Huang gotten neutered?"

"Obviously, with a name like Da Huang, that's harsh, mate."

"If you're unhappy, just soul it out!"

With a rose in its mouth, the video of Da Huang gifting flowers blocking a path went viral, especially since the expression of surprised delight on the girl's face couldn't be scripted.

However, Su Qing wasn't aware, as he was downstairs in the neighborhood walking Da Huang.

"Xiao Su, out walking the dog again?"

Just then, Wen Nanqing's voice came from behind, and turning around, he saw her holding a little girl with two pigtails, looking like a porcelain doll.

"Yeah, Sister Wen, what about you?" Su Qing responded.

After yesterday's incident, she was no longer afraid of Da Huang, smiling as she approached him, saying:

"Just picked my daughter up from her extracurricular class. Come, say hi to Uncle," Wen Nanqing smiled.

Upon hearing that, the little girl in her arms, with big dark eyes, suddenly said: "Little Uncle?"

Su Qing: ???

The words 'Little Uncle' caught Wen Nanqing off guard, and she scolded lightly: "What are you calling! Say Uncle!"

"Hello, Uncle," the little girl greeted softly, then smiled at Da Huang by his feet: "Hello, doggy!"

Only then did Su Qing snap back, truthfully speaking, through the narration he knew his landlord was a single mother, and even if the little girl nervously called him 'Dad,' he could understand. But the 'Little Uncle' did surprise him, yet he quickly dismissed it as a child's innocent words.

Although being called 'Uncle' in his early twenties was a bit uncomfortable, he could only grit his teeth and accept it, then ask with a smile:

"Hello, little one. What's your name?"

"My name is Xiao Yun. Uncle, can I pet it?" the little girl asked with curiosity, looking at Da Huang.

On hearing this, Su Qing glanced at Wen Nanqing, as it wasn't his decision to make.

"Are you sure it won't bite?" Wen Nanqing asked softly, clearly still wary when it came to her child.

As soon as she finished speaking, a narration echoed in his mind:

[Wen Yun, female, five and a half years old, first in her kindergarten senior class. At a human and dog-annoying age, she has become Da Huang's lifelong nemesis, yet won't be attacked by Da Huang.]

Hearing the narration, Su Qing raised an eyebrow. He couldn't fathom how this harmless little girl could become Da Huang's lifelong nemesis.

Nonetheless, knowing Da Huang wouldn't attack the girl reassured him, as he still trusted the narrations a lot.

"It's fine, don't worry!"

"Behave for a moment, okay? Let them pet you. Sit!"

Following Su Qing's command, Da Huang sat quietly beside him, still as a statue.

Seeing Da Huang so obedient, Wen Nanqing put her daughter down. The little girl wasn't shy, grabbing Da Huang's ear instantly, which gave Wen Nanqing a start.

Luckily, Da Huang didn't react; instead, it showed a silly grin, looking quite radiant, occasionally licking the girl's hand, making her giggle, which finally eased Wen Nanqing's tension.

And so the little girl started playing with Da Huang. Starting with hesitant touches, eventually, he understood what it meant by the at a human and dog-annoying age. By the time they went home in the evening, Da Huang seemed completely exhausted.

Indeed, the terrifying prowess of a senior class student! At such a young age, to become the lifelong nemesis of Da Huang opened Su Qing's eyes.
