"Are you not coming?" Picollo asked Leo, who was still standing inside the ship, right at the threshold.
"Maybe next time," Leo answered, shaking his head lightly.
He had already stayed on earth for close to a month, waiting for these people to arrive. Because of that, he wasn't even able to handle the business, or rather the task at hand to start his bank.
Now, he could finally put his mind into it. At the same time, he didn't have to worry about Picollo and the others since they weren't living in some random corners of the earth anymore.
This time, the lab was right at the heart of earth, where the entire power structure was established. It was the safest place where his lab could be established.
Even if it was Fiona, she wouldn't be able to create a mess in the city of Estefan, which was the main intergalactic hub of earth.
After ensuring the safety of his people, Leo stepped back, and the gates of the ship started closing. It was time to get back to work, leaving Picollo to handle that part of revenge.
After all, who was a better person to take care of this revenge than the main victim of it?
"What is the next project that you want us to work on?" Picollo asked Leo, as the door had halfway closed.
Leo's lips started twitching at the mention of work. Was this guy a workaholic? Even now, he wanted to work?
Even if he wanted to work, Leo didn't plan on letting him work. After all, he was someone that had managed to turn a foolish idea like invisible pants into something path breaking.
Who knew what he was going to do next? Leo didn't even dare to come up with a stupid idea, not wanting to even imagine the thousand ways this guy could turn it into a success.
"You aren't allowed to work! Just relax and enjoy your life for now! I'll tell you what to do when it's time!" Leo exclaimed, his voice growing eager to stop Picollo.
"But..." Picollo tried speaking, but Leo refused to listen.
Instead, he cut him off and said, "As I said, you don't have to work. Why don't you find a calming hobby in the meantime? Like fishing? Or maybe open an orphanage and take care of kids as you heal? But absolutely no work!"
With that, the ship's door finally closed and Picollo was left on the roof, wondering what Leo meant.
He wanted them to go fishing? And run an orphanage and spend time with kids? What happened to their plans of changing the world?
"No, it can't be that simple. Once again, I must be misunderstanding his words. His words must hold a deeper value!"
Picollo watched the ship rise in the air, and his mind started working like a machine, trying to decipher Leo's words.
"By fishing, could he have meant... And the orphanage... Ah... Is it really what he wants?"
Picollo's eyes widened as he thought of something.
He immediately brought out his phone and started checking something. He opened a galactic map of their space sector.
Instead of focusing on earth, he zoomed in on a different planet, which was also called Aqua. It was a planet that was entirely covered in water.
It was also a middle tier planet, but one that had joined the ranks even after earth. That's why, although barely, it was considered weaker than earth.
On the planet, there was no land. That's why it was only occupied by intelligence species that could live and breathe under water.
"Isn't he overestimating me? To assign me something like this...?" Picollo's jaws dropped, as he went into details about that planet.
His expressions kept growing more and more serious as he mumbled, "It seems like I have to work even harder to satisfy him."
"But before that..." He looked down at the five unconscious men, who were deep asleep. One of them had blood on his chest, but the bleeding had somewhat stopped.
Meanwhile, the leader of the group had a cloth tied around his eyes to keep them closed.
Looking at the face of these people, he couldn't help but remember his surroundings being in flames. And these five people standing outside the building, looking like they were enjoying the scene.
Picollo took a deep breath and called for Yelina, telling her to bring a few more trustworthy people to the roof.
After the people gathered, they dragged these people down, through the lift. The lift went straight to the underground floor, which was left vacant as per Picollo's instructions.
....
A few hours passed before a delegation appeared before the new Alpha Labs Building. And the person leading the delegation was none other than Blaze, who had received the news about Picollo's return.
He entered the Alpha Labs Building after showing his identity card, and following every other process, even though there was no need for it. After all, who didn't recognise this man?
He was immediately escorted to the office where Picollo was waiting for them, having heard of their arrival.
Picollo stood up from his seat to welcome Blaze.
If it was the past, he would've been shivering in Blaze's presence. After all, he had once worked as a measly researcher in Hero Guild. And that person's aura was always overwhelming.
But now, Picollo barely showed any worship. He held gratitude towards Blaze since he had heard that they were saved by him. But that was it.
"Are you here to collect the Invisible Catalogue that you had ordered? Don't worry, it's all prepared. Although there was a month-long delay, we are ready to start the deliveries."
"That's not what I'm here for," Blaze pulled a chair back and took a seat before Picollo. "I just heard that you returned, and came here to see you."
Meanwhile, Picollo barely reached as he prepared the coffee, and slid it towards Blaze.
"Thank you, Lord Blaze. After all, I am alive because of you. So it's always a pleasure to see my saviours."
Blaze started swirling the spoon in the cup, as he slowly asked, "Did you find the five people that had attacked the lab?"
"Hmm? Unfortunately we weren't able to find a single person. Apparently the information was wrong, so we failed. That's why I had no choice but to return," Picollo answered with a straight face.
Blaze raised a brow, but didn't outright call out the lie. After all, he had already seen the satellite images of five unconscious men on the roof, being dragged by Picollo and others.
