Atalana didn't even notice when her face was grabbed by Jin's hand, being thrown into the air, and blasted a good distance away.

He turned around, looking at the millions of Guardians and Vanguards there, and swiped his arms across the air, killing half of them in an instant.

Trinity's loyalty lay with the Aegis Corps, so she attacked the group, facing off against Mrs Horton.

Jerrica faced off against Mavena.

Oculia and Anyssa fought back-to-back with each other, trying to hold back the swarm of enemies that they now had to face.

At that same moment, Brittany, Addison, and Angela teleported to the scene, dropping down to help out however they could.

"All of you are traitors! Kill the traitors!" Mavena demanded.

Jin powered all of them up with mana, temporarily boosting their capabilities and survivability.

Seeing how they decided to fight by his side, he wasn't going to let them die.

"JIN! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!" Atalana rushed toward him, her nose bleeding, and slammed into his side, tackling him to the ground.

He didn't expect her to be able to touch him, but then he remembered that powers that are a part of nature can affect mana, such as Atalana's powers, which were Antimatter generation and manipulation.

She gave him a left and a right hook, followed by an uppercut, but Jin ate all of those attacks, not even being phased by them.

He returned the favor, giving her one mean left hook, then a mean right hook. He followed that up with an uppercut, but grabbed her leg before she could be launched far, and slammed her onto the ground, kicking her into a building.

Antimatter is extremely dangerous when it comes into contact with matter. So dangerous that even a small gram can cause an explosion equivalent to a nuclear bomb.

So when Atalana covered an entire building with antimatter upon seeing Jin fly toward her, the explosion it caused was extremely destructive.

So destructive that Jin HAD to contain the blast, or it would have wiped out nearly everything on this part of the continent.

"Kill him!" Atalana demanded.

"Fire!"

All around Jin, Vanguards and Guardians attacked him, none of them holding anything back. Unfortunately, the more they attacked Jin, the angrier he got, and the more brutal he became.

He ripped people apart with his bare hands, crushed them under the weight of his mana, and didn't hesitate to slaughter the ones who surrendered.

"Since you had the guts to attack me, you have the guts to die as well." He said before wiping out those who surrendered.

"Kyaaahhhh!" Atalana rained down antimatter blasts on Jin's back, forcing him to turn his attention back to her.

"I'll serve as a distraction! Kill him if you can find an opening!" She commanded the vanguards and guardians.

"You'll do nothing." Jin didged an antimatter blast, pulled Atalana in, and rammed his leg into her belly.

She crashed into the ground, civilians running away from the destruction, not able to catch a break.

The police were already trying to clear up some places after Jin's battle with the Láspi, so they were around when Jin landed on top of Atalana and started beating the shit out of her.

His punches created shockwaves that shattered glass in the vicinity. Heat vision burned Atalana's chest, and he picked her up, punching her into a skyscraper.

Jin flew after her, but his arms were caught by energy ropes.

"I got him!"

"Keep him there!"

Four women rushed at him, all of them extremely powerful, but Jin overpowered the woman who was restraining him, grabbed the leg of the closest Vanguard that tried to attack him, and used her as a weapon.

He swung her around, colliding heads with another vanguard, threw the body toward the vanguard that restrained him, and as she caught her coworker, he rammed his hand through both of their chests.

Atalana then came back, trying her best to kill Jin, but her powers, while powerful, resulted in nothing against him.

He sliced off her arm, kicked her into the ground, and threw a lightning bolt into her mouth, which then caused a massive lightning bolt from the sky to strike her body, killing her like that.

"H-He killed Councilwoman Atalana."

"N-No way!"

Everyone gulped in fear, backing away so they wouldn't become the next victim of Jin.

He smiled, summoning his scythe once more, and aimed it at everyone around him.

"You're next." By the time Jin finished with the rest of the Vangards and Guardians who were after him, blood was raining from the sky.

"How dare you use my daughter for your own benefit! I trusted you! I dedicated my life to the Aegis Corps, and this is how you betray me!" Jerrica was beating the utter shit out of Mavena, not even giving her a chance to use her powers.

She punched her in the face, backhanded her, then grabbed her head and kneed Mavena right in the nose.

She stumbled back, managing to lift a finger to reverse all of the damage done to her body.

Her ability allowed her to slow down, speed up, stop, and reverse time. She couldn't do any of that indefinitely, but she was very skilled at what she could do.

When Jerrica came at her, she sped up the time around her body, making it seem like she was moving extremely fast. This allowed Mavena to land some good blows on Jerrica, overtaking her in the battle.

However, Jerrica simply absorbed all of that energy and gave it right back to Mavena with a headbutt to the face.

"Argh! Fuck!"

"I thought you were the level-headed one on the council!"

"Grow up, Jerrica. I have to make difficult decisions all the time, and I deemed this necessary."

"So why did you hide this from me?!"

Mavena couldn't answer that question.

"Fucking bitch!" Jerrica charged at her once more, but her body suddenly slowed down, then completely came to a stop.

"I'm sorry, Jerrica. I've always respected and admired you. It's unfortunate that we became enemies, but I hope you can forgive me." Mavena took out an energy pistol and aimed it at Jerrica's head.

Jerrica couldn't move one bit, let alone speak. However, she could see and hear everything happening in real time. It seemed that Mavena gave her that luxury.

"Goodbye, old friend." The moment she pulled the trigger, her hand was severed by something extremely sharp.

"Arghhhhh!!!"

"The fuck do you think you're doing?" Jin asked, looking at her with an angry expression."
