"How are the clones doing?" Eve asked her assistant, sipping some wine.

"They aren't nearly as powerful as Jin, but they are still performing their tasks well." The assistant replied.

"Good. And what about the next clone we'll be sending?"

"Yes. This clone should be a lot stronger than the last, and it should be able to draw Jin's blood. But he has to be caught off guard. I've monitored the way he uses mana, and he has it around his body at all times."

Eve nodded. "Naturally, even I use mana like that. And, all of you should be using your mana like that as well."

"We are, worry not, Madam. Back to Jin, his mana is very strong, but when he's not expecting to be attacked or anything, he's at his weakest. But that's not saying a lot because he's still strong."

"So the clone has to attack Jin in that state in order to draw his blood?"

"Yes. Once we collect that data, then we should be able to make the other clones more powerful."

Eve looked at her production line of the Jin clones she had. "Even after making clones of him using Project Omega, he's still this strong, huh? No matter, he will fall soon enough anyway. What of our other task?"

"Our members have rooted themselves in the Tartarus government and are ready to act when you give the word."

"And the other countries?"

"Yes, our members are rooted there as well. Only Othrys lies unoccupied."

Eve's wine glass shattered in her hand, her mana rising from anger.

"If Carlnitus had stuck to the original plan, then Othrys would have been under my control already! But no! He gets greedy and takes advantage of my absence and ruins that whole branch!"

She took a deep breath to calm herself down. "Proceed as usual and update me when you get results. I have to check up on our little Láspi to see if it's growing well."

"Understood, Madam Eve."

"Oh, before I go, is Jerrica still looking into us?"

"Yes. However, she's coming to a point where she won't be able to investigate us as much as she wants since we're on a different continent and the Sons of Adam were all wiped out."

"Hmmm. What an annoying pest. Kill her. You know what, kill all of those girls who are with Jin. I wonder what he'll do once he finds his loved ones dead. Hahahaha!"

"So the Aegis Corps and the Military are doing joint operations together and setting up outposts in their names?" Jin asked

"Yeah. That's what I saw on my way to meet up with Addison." Angela explained

"Meh, that's not surprising, to be honest. I expected that."

"No, Jin. Not like this. They are going to the extreme. I saw a family get separated because they wanted to make sure none of us were together. It was pretty heartbreaking."

"A broken family, huh?" Jessa mumbed as she sat on the couch. Now that she was back at full strength and health, she was getting used to using her powers again as well as catching up on what she had missed for the past nine years.

"When you have wanted criminals of the highest threat level, like us, that's bound to happen."

"Just be careful the next time you leave this place."

"I will." Jin nodded with a smile.

"Looks like you're already causing trouble for the Aegis Corps once again." Oculia was watching TV while slurping noodles when she spotted Jin attacking a military outpost.

"Another one? Bro, this is getting so old and annoying." Jin was sick and tired of dealing with these clones and wanted them to stop. He knew they were coming from Madam Eve, so he needed to get information out of it to find where she was.

"I'll be back, okay? I have to go fight myself...again."

"Be safe!"

"Yup." Jin flew away.

Hovering above their safe house was a woman dressed in all black with black metal plating around her body.

"Madam Eve, your spell worked. Jin didn't notice that I was here. He also went to confront the clone."

"Good. Now lay waste to those women. I want you to report their deaths within the hour."

"Understood." The woman dropped four metal orbs that started floating in the air and moved around the house, creating a barrier.

Inside, Addison was the first to notice that something was wrong.

"Guys. I suddenly felt disconnected from my powers. Are you all feeling the same way?"

"What are you talking about? Why wouldn't we be able to use our powers?" Angela tried to freeze her, but nothing came out.

"Oh shit. What's going on?"

All of them went on high alert, equipping their power kits just in case.

"Not even our power kits are working!" Brittany shouted.

"Duck!" Jessa managed to tackle Anyssa to the ground, preventing her head from being chopped off.

"You noticed me? Impressive. But it doesn't matter. You all will be dead within the hour."

"Who the hell are you?!" Angela shouted, trying to get in contact with Jin, but to no avail.

"You don't need to know." The woman moved like a snake, slithering past everyone to slit Angela's throat.

Angela moved quickly, backstepping the blade, and kicked it out of her hand.

Anyssa and Oculia took this time to charge at the woman from both sides, but she jumped in the air and split-kicked the two of them in the face.

Addison grabbed the woman when she landed, and Mrs Horton charged in to punch the woman in the gut. So, she kicked Mrs Horton back with both legs, using Addison as support, then headbutter her, breaking Addison's nose, then kicked her into the wall.

"Arghh!"

"Look alive, you punk!" Angela slammed a hammer into the ground, but the woman dodged it, kicked the weapon out of her hand, grabbed it, then knocked Angela in the ribs with it, breaking some of them.

"Oooof! Nngh! F-Fuck that hurts!"

"Hmph. You all are pitiful without your powers." As the woman made her way to finish Angela, she was knocked off her feet and crashed into the wall.

"Is that so? Then why don't you tangle with me instead?" Jessa smirked.
