Thrusted into a world ruled by women

Chapter 75: It indeed was a trap

Jin decided to go alone this time, not wanting to take Addison and Angela along in case it was indeed a trap. He gave them his location and told them that if he wasn't back by nightfall without contacting them in some type of way, then something had happened to him.

Angela, of course, didn't want to be left behind, but a good chop on the neck was able to make her pass out for a good bit.

Before arriving at the spot, Jin did a quick fly around the area to make sure there was nothing suspicious going on. He used both his magic and tech to check for anything out of the ordinary, and when he didn't find anything, he finally landed.

"This is the place." It was in the rougher part of town, where you would see homelessness extremely often.

Even in an advanced society as this, the world wasn't a utopia. This planet was still divided by borders, ideals, and governments. The only thing they decided to agree upon was having the same language and an Aegis Corps for every nation.

"I guess it makes sense why the Sons of Adam would operate in run-down places like these. No one would look here first because of how poor the area is." Jin walked through an alley, looking left and right to see if there were any false walls or hidden entrances.

Around him were people who slept in tents, drank dirty water, and wore winter clothes even though it was currently summer.

"Heh, typical." All around Jin, the people in the alley slowly inched closer to him, trying to be subtle and not rouse his suspicion. But he was already onto him.

"H-Hello, mister?" A little girl walked over to him with a cup in her hand. "C-Can you spare some change, please?"

Jin looked at the girls, no older than 8, maybe, and felt his heart warm up. "Sure, here."

Reaching into his pocket, Jin pulled out a gun and shot the little girl in the head, killing her instantly. His heart warmed up not from care, but from excitement.

"Do you think I'm fucking stupid?" Jin asked the people around him.

Suddenly, the little girl turned into an adult woman, her powers being shapeshifting.

All of the people around him got into a fighting position, not expecting Jin to catch on to them so easily.

"Well, well, well. I can't say I'm surprised, but man, you're really good." A man in a suit walked forward through the crowd, his face covered by a mask.

"Speaker," Jin growled

"Hello, my dear Jin. It is a pleasure to see you again."

"The feeling is not mutual." It was pretty obvious, but it turns out that this was indeed a trap, one to lure out Jin.

"That hurts my feelings."

"Gonna cry?"

"Haha, no, no I'm not. I wish to speak with you...again."

"Sorry, but I'm not interested in what you're selling." Jin rushed at him faster than he could perceive, and his hand...went right through him.

It felt as if Jin had touched him, but also as if he didn't touch him at the same time. It was weird, but he knew this type of feeling.

"A hard light construct." Jin had no idea how the Sons of Adam had that type of technology, but that wasn't important at the moment.

"Did you seriously think I would be stupid enough to come here in person and confront you? I'm ambitious, not stupid."

"But it seems like the three brain cells that you have want to keep recruiting me, even though I keep declining." Jin tried to trace back the signal that the hard light construct was giving off, but it was out of range, as if it were across the world or something like that.

"Well, these three brain cells know how valuable you are, and someone like you will be a great addition to our cause." The Speaker held out his hand for Jin to shake, but he didn't.

"I like the current state of the world. I'm handsome, smart, have a nice body, and girls love me. Why would I want to be in charge? I mean, I don't even have to pay for dates anymore. This is literally a dream come true."

"So like, you like being the bitch of a woman? You like being used like a slut and thrown out?"

Jin shrugged. "If that's how you interpret things, then I'm not going to change your mind."

"Pwahah! This is why I like you, Jin. You are real and say what's on your mind. I also know that the gears in your head are turning right now, trying to figure out where I am."

"You know me so well, it's as if we're friends."

"We can be." The Speaker held out his hand once again. "If you accept the new world order. Accept the Revolution. I know you already know about Project Omega. So imagine how GREAT you would be if you had that endoskeleton in your body! You'd be the perfect man!"

"I'm already perfect. I don't need anyone else to tell me that." Jin rushed forward and placed his hand on the construct's chest.

Technology lines started to spread throughout the whole construct, allowing Jin to get a stronger signal to ping where the Speaker actually was.

"Hahaha! You're so smart, Jin. Sometimes too smart."

"Save your compliments for later."

"Oh, but you're going to want to hear this. I knew that you would be able to find a way to ping where I am, so I planned this entire encounter to allow myself to be outsmarted. And by being outsmarted, I would be able to outsmart you!"

The light from the construction started to take over Jin's arm in an attempt to cover his body, and started to glow.

He quickly released his hand and coated his body with magic to protect himself from the impending explosion, but to his surprise, no explosion came. Instead, Jin felt his body being warped through space, his vision slightly going black for a split second.

"What the hell?!" When he came to, Jin noticed that he was not where he once was before and was surrounded by hundreds of thousands of people, all of whom had their weapons and powers ready to attack him in case he did something stupid.

"Did you seriously just use my own genius against me?" Jin asked the speaker

"Yes, yes, I did."

"Mother fucker."
