Miss Lockman locked eyes with Jin. She knew he would ask this question and would be more interested in the mission if it did have any connection to the Sons of Adam. Unfortunately for him, though, it did not.

"No. This is a completely separate group. They are military deserters." She informed him.

"The military? Shouldn't they handle this then?" Roby was new to the Aegis Corps, but even he knew that the Aegis Corps and Military matters stayed separate.

"Normally, this would have been the case; however, because they have trespassed on a facility that belongs to our organization, they need to go through us to get permission to capture their people."

"Then where are the military personnel?" The green head asked. "Normally this would be a joint operation, no?"

"Normally, yes. But this is different because it is our facility." Miss Lockman informed her.

'There's something that they don't want the military to find out there.' Jin theorized.

"That's enough for the questions. I won't be able to be on call with you all this time, so you'll have to go in there without any support. You leave in ten minutes."

In the armory, Jin, Roby, and the two women geared up to prepare for their mission. They didn't know how long it would take, so they prepared for at least a three-day operation. This was standard procedure.

"Hello, my name is Roby, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I hope we get along well during the mission." With a smile on his face, Roby extended his hand to the brunette.

"Fuck off, pretty boy. I have no interest in getting to know a useless muck like you."

"Oh."

The woman looked Roby up and down, licking her lips, then pushed him against the wall. "But, if you don't mind coming back to my place once this is over, then I don't mind getting to know you more... intimately."

"I...uh...well..." Roby didn't know how to respond. His mind always went blank every time he was put on the spot like this.

The woman held his chin, lifting it up to connect his lips with hers, but before they could, the other woman stopped her.

"Cut it out, Sandra. We have a mission to do."

"Dalis, why do you always find the need to ruin my fun?"

Dalis, the green-haired woman, rolled her eyes. "I don't care what you do with him, but just leave it for when the mission is over. We already have to bend over to work with these newbs. I'm not trying to have him think like an idiot because all of the blood that should go to his head would be going to his dick from the hardon you're giving him."

Sandra looked down and saw that Roby was getting aroused. She smiled, grabbed his dick, then whispered in his ear. "I'll have my fun with you later." She pushed him away and then slapped his butt.

After that, Sandra and Dalis left the armory.

"You see that, Jin. That's how you get a girl to look at you." The only thing Roby forgot to ask for was her number.

One thing Jin never did in this world was listen to men's advice about women. "I don't know. It just looked like you were taken advantage of."

"Of course you'd say that. You act like a girl. Are you into men?"

"Absolutely not."

"Hmmm. We'll see about that."

"Roby, I've been with more women than you could count." Jin had lived for so long that he didn't even know how many women he had slept with. Hell, there was once a life where he had so many wives that he was called the King of Beauties because all of the beautiful women would flock to his side.

"So you're just a slut." Roby understood.

"What? No. Nevermind. Let's just go."

Once the team had taken care of everything they needed, they boarded an aircraft and left for the facility. They flew over a large forest, their location being the mountain range behind it.

When they arrived, the aircraft didn't land, and they had to jump out to continue forward. The reason they didn't land next to the facility was that the people who made it their home made sure to have some defenses in place in case they were ever raided.

"I don't know if I can do this!" Roby said as he looked down, seeing the long drop to the ground.

"Stop being a pussy and jump." Sandra kicked him off the aircraft.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

"You need a push, too?" She asked Jin.

"I'm fine." He jumped off the aircraft, diving to catch up with Roby. He grabbed his back, then activated his power kit and safely landed on the ground.

"T-Thanks!" His heart was still beating.

"No problem."

Landing right next to Jin was Sandra, who had a purple forcefield around her that absorbed the impact of the drop.

Shortly after she landed, Dalis floated down to the ground as well, her body as thin and flat as a piece of paper before morphing back into her normal appearance.

'So Sandra has force field powers, and Dalis has elasticity. Good to know.' Jin had asked them about their powers in the aircraft, but they didn't answer him.

He felt a bit off not going on a mission with Addison and Angela, but he knew this would happen eventually.

"Jin, right?" Dalis asked, not waiting for a response. "Go and scout ahead of us. We'll prepare everything we need for the assault."

"Sure." Jin took off ahead, turning on his cloaking device. When he flew close to the facility that sat on a hill right below the mountains, he paused, not going any closer.

While it wasn't visible to the naked eye, Jin's suit picked up an electrical signal that was surrounding the whole base. Once something that was comprised of technology entered it, the people on the inside would be alerted.

'Luckily for me, I have mana.' Jin erased the presence of his tech with his magic, slipping past the first line of defense and flying up to the facility.
