Thrusted into a world ruled by women

Chapter 81: What the hell! This is beyond our pay grade!

When Jiin landed on the grounds of the Facility, he noticed that it was surprisingly clean. He expected nature to have taken over parts of the area, but he assumed the new tenants were keeping up with their gardening.

He sent a drone out to scan the area and to get a bird's-eye view of the place while he looked around on foot.

'Looks like all of the weapons systems are online. That's to be expected. Since they don't detect me, they aren't firing. Let me test something.'

Jin used his mana, picking up a rock and tossing it onto the ground. Normally, this wouldn't do anything, but he made the rock give off an electrical signal to alert the defenses, and the closest turret raised out of the ground and blasted the poor rock to dust.

'As expected.'

As Jin continued to look around on foot, his drone came back, attaching itself to his arm and melting back into his power kit. All of the data it collected appeared on his face display for him to look at.

'A tunnel that leads into the mountain, huh? I guess something crazy was going on here before it got shut down. This is odd, though. Olympus has only been around for no more than 50 years, so why wouldn't all of the research here be taken to Olympus?'

So many questions, but no answer.

Just then, the large, metallic doors, which were built to withstand explosions, opened, and a woman walked out.

"What the hell happened here? Why did the turret go off?" She checked the area, placing her hand on the ground, and used her power, which Jin learned was technomancy because of how she controlled the tech in the ground.

"Odd. I guess it was just a fluke. I thought I programmed these fuckers better. Dammit. No matter how advanced technology is, it still fails at some point." She walked back inside the facility

Jin understood her annoyance all too well. There were many times when technology should have worked, and just didn't.

Before the door closed, Jin sent a drone inside behind her to scan the area. In the meantime, he would go back to his squad.

---

"I'm back," Jin announced his presence.

"H-Hey, Jin." Roby greeted him, his appearance looking a bit disheveled as he sat down with Sandra's arm around his shoulders.

"Please tell me that you managed to get some good information and aren't coming here to say that the facility is located on a hill."

Jin had no idea what was up with Sandra, but he ignored her. "There's an electromagnetic field that's surrounding the facility. If we walk through it, our tech will be pinged on their network, and they will be alerted to our presence. I've also learned that their defences work in a similar way."

"Wow, that's actually some good information. But what about guards?"

Jin showed them live footage of the facility. "There are none."

Dalis patted Jin on the shoulder. "Good work. We'll just have to figure out a way to pass through that field without setting our enemies off."

"I already know how to do that." Jin smiled.

"Oh? Care to explain?"

"We'll use Sandra's ability."

---

"Can you please stop poking me with your elbow? You're making it hard for me to use my ability." Sandra asked as she helped the team move past the electromagnetic field.

"It's not my fault you can't use your ability well!" Dalis growled, feeling cramped as well.

"Hey! It was Jin's idea to have us stuffed in a barrier like some fucking hamster in a ball!"

"Actually, I said to create a force field around the four of us, and you said that you can't because you'll end up straining yourself." He corrected her.

"Don't use my words against me!"

Jin honestly didn't understand how the women in this world, especially those who were in the military and Aegis Corps, didn't care to train their powers past their limits.

To him, who still had the same mind of a man born to a powerless world, having powers was the best thing ever, and he would train them to the limit, no matter what power he had.

But then again, he remembered that people in his old world didn't care to work out, and since women were naturally born with powers, they would view it the same as working out.

"I-I'm not in your way, am I?" Roby asked

"Of course not, hot stuff. Though you can stop grabbing my ass. You're making me uncomfortable." Sandra tried to shake his hands off her.

"S-Sorry."

'Unbelievable. This dude came back only to start flirting. He hasn't changed. But this is great! I have my woman magnet back!'

Back in school, all of the girls would flock to Roby because he was the ideal man. Jin didn't like attention, and after Roby left, the girls started seeing how attractive he was. Thankfully, he had Angela to 'bully' him.

"Okay, we're in. Jin, do you have the device ready?" Sandra asked.

"Yeah." While they were moving toward the facility, Jin was creating bracelets to counter the signal the field was giving off, which would allow them to move normally and not alert the defenses of the place.

He handed them each one, and Sandra put down her barrier. Slowly and stealthily, they moved past the entrance to find a place to enter without drawing suspicion.

"Guys, I found a place we can enter at!" Roby said in the coms.

"Great, we'll be right—" Sandra turned her attention to a vehicle that landed on the ground. From that vehicle, three women stepped out. The driver/pilot, a passenger who was a man, and another passenger who made Sandra's throat go dry.

"W-What the fuck is she doing here?!" She muttered under her breath.

"Who? What's wrong?" Dalis moved to Sandra's location, looking in the direction she was pointing.

"Oh fuck!"

Jin was also taken aback. There were 7 ranks of the Aegis corps, each rank also serving as a unit. Among them are the Sentinels, the second-highest rank there is. Here, the women have decades of expierence and are extremely powerful.

So when Jin saw that a sentinel was walking into the facility, he knew something was up.

Roby was the only one who was confused. "What's going on?"
