"M-Mom was a test subject? How? Why? What the fuck is going on here?!" Jin could feel his breathing get a bit off, so he calmed himself and steadied his mind. He was on a mission, and worrying about his mother at a time like this would jeopardize the mission.

"Team, this is Jin. I have finished placing my charges. I'm heading to the facility in the mountainside."

"Roger." They all replied.

Moving swiftly and quietly, Jin headed to the nearest elevator, spotted two people entering it, and jumped inside right before it closed, going into his stealth mode so they couldn't see him.

"Ugh, Cadmus is here, and she's gonna be on our ass once she finds out that that Jin Telegard fellow destroyed parts of the space station." A woman sighed.

"Dumbass! She's here because of the space station incident! Our shipment was destroyed, and now she's making us work overtime just to get more done!"

'Shipment?' Jin wondered what they were talking about.

"Well, not all of it was destroyed. We still have five thousand vials of the drug."

"Yeah, but we HAD one hundred thousand of it before. Losing ninety-five thousand is huge!"

"That's true. Man, our work is cut out for us."

The elevator came to a stop, and the two women got out, Jin following behind. They were in some sort of lobby with doors around them that led to different parts of the facility.

Thankfully, Jin's drone managed to come into this area and get the layout of the place, allowing him to navigate with ease.

"What are you two doing? Why aren't you working on the serum?" Cadmus's voice boomed into the lobby.

"M-Miss Cadmus! We were gathering our files." One of the ladies held out a file that contained the recipes for the serum they were creating.

"Hmm. Well, hurry up then! We need more of completed by the end of next week! The Speaker has already informed me that Jin is now on our kill list and we are moving forward with Project Omega!"

"We understand!"

"Where are you going, Miss Cadmus?" The other woman asked

"I've gotten word that Jin and a team of operatives are on their way here. Hell, they could be here already. I'm going to go deal with them if I see them." She entered the elevator to head to the main facility.

'What the fuck?! Does everyone work for the Sons of Adam now?' After alerting his team about Cadmus, Jin followed the women into the furthest door that led to a lab where many people were wearing hazmat suits while stirring a massive pot of some green liquid.

'I'm guessing that's the serum.' Jin was making sure to record everything to review later and turn into the Aegis Corps.

"Everybody, pick up the pace. We need this batch done within the hour. The Speaker is not pleased with the destruction of our serum." The woman shouted.

"Ugh! That wasn't even our fault."

"Yeah! It was he who always wanted to recruit that Jin guy. Why are we paying the price?"

"I don't fucking know?! Just do your job!"

Jin took his time to look around and see what these people were cooking up. He analyzed the liquid and saw that it was a performance booster, but not for sex.

'For women's abilities! This is literally that Women's Evolution Program shit but in a bottle! I need a sample to study later.' Thinking quickly, Jin created a distraction that made people turn heads.

While they were wondering what was going on, he created a vial using nanocech on his gauntlet, dipped his hand inside the green liquid, and extracted some of the serum. After that, he placed some charges around the room, then left.

He went into the other rooms in the facility, placing charges in there as well, while also checking to see if there was anything else he needed to take a look at.

In one of the rooms, he saw large glass tubes that were used in the experiments decades ago, all destroyed and unusable from the passage of time and lack of maintenance. He didn't discover anything new in this room, though he did document the area before setting charges.

'Time to get out of here.' Jin thought it would be too inconvenient to wait for someone to use the elevator, so he simply distorted the space around himself to head back to the first facility.

When he checked his holo map, he saw that all the charges had been placed and his team was waiting for him.

"All of the charges have been set," Jin spoke into his coms.

"Great. You were quiet for a bit there. I was hoping you weren't captured." Dalis chuckled.

Soon, Jin met back up with his team, away from the electromagnetic field and at a safe distance away from the blast radius.

"Alright, Jin! Light that bitch up!" Sanda said enthusiastically, excited to see the facility blow up.

"With pleasure." He clicked a button on his gauntlet, and the facility exploded in a blazing glory of fire.

"Woohooo! Yeah! You know, Jin, you're a lot cooler than I thought you would be. We should totally work together again!"

"Thanks, Sandra. I'll ask Miss Lockman to put us on more missions together." He was not going to do that.

"Do you think they all died?" Dalis wasn't seeing anyone run out of the building, so she was hoping their job was completed with ease.

"I doubt that." Jin pointed to the facility. "The fire is already getting put out by Cadmus. But we don't have to engage any further. We'll head back to the Aegis Corps and report what we found out here."

"What? But how will we explain our failure in our report?" This was Roby's first mission, and he didn't want it to end in failure. It wouldn't look good on his record.

"Our mission changed when a Sentinel got involved. Besides, we destroyed the lab and killed a good bit of the deserters. This has been a partial success." Jin didn't even care about the mission anymore. He wanted to learn more about this serum and how it worked.

"Let's go."
