Supreme Paragon Reborn: Humanity’s Rise To Galactic Supremacy

Chapter 119: Devil Angel and Dragon

By carefully observing the woman, Michael had deduced that she was an Expert like him.

Since she had tried to poison him, it was clear that she wasn't of the close, confrontational type.

Ironically, her actions that had been aimed at getting him to drop his guard had dropped hers.

Before her lips could purse, he grabbed her neck and squeezed tightly. Desperately the woman gasped for breath. Her limbs moved in an attempt to attack, yet with the cut-off oxygen, they failed miserably.

"If you want her to live, come out. Now." Michael commanded.

Swush!

In a heartbeat a female figure with a hood appeared at the end of the room.

"All of you."

Before the newcomer could speak, Michael's words halted her.

The newcomer seemed hesitant, yet in the end complied. With a simple nod twenty figures appeared over the living room.

Thankfully the room was quite large, making it possible to accommodate everyone.

"Just like I thought." Michael sneered, seeing that all of the hooded figures were women.

This was undoubtedly the Venomous Lotus clan. Unlike a faction, where one could enter and leave freely, a clan was something you were born into and would die in. Being unable to leave the sect had its disadvantages, but in return you would learn all of their techniques in time.

This clan in particular had become famous in his prior life for their unconventional assassin methods, as well as because every member was a woman.

"Who sent you?" He was certain they had been hired for the job.

Noting the lack of cooperation from the assassins' side, Michael's gaze sharpened as it shifted to the woman still in his grasp. She gave off the most threatening aura, so she must have known the most.

"The Immortal Legion?"

Usually a member of the Venomous Lotus wouldn't have reacted. However, with her neck being squeezed, she couldn't hide her initial reaction.

Michael effortlessly picked up on the way her brow twitched.

"Bingo."

A smile spread over his face, almost like he wasn't the one cornered by all sides.

While the confrontation was underway. Three women were relaxing in a hot spring.

"Michael really was right. I feel my skin becoming smoother." Victoria mumbled in excitement. Her milky skin had become even softer, rivaling cultivators of a realm higher than her.

"My mind has certainly become sharper." Claire nodded in agreement. Her fingers caressing her white hair that had begun to fall down like a waterfall.

Ava flexed her muscles. Her petite body was now beaming with power.

Since the three women had the habit of waking up early, they had decided to go towards the hot spring following Michael's suggestion.

Due to sheer fate the three met up and decided to soak in the healing waters together. Funnily enough, with it being so early in the morning, no one had shown yet, leaving the whole place for themselves.

Quite fortunate, since a single glance would make jealousy rise in the hearts of ordinary women. Charm like the one possessed by these three beauties wasn't easily attained.

"This is life!" Ava beamed, submerging herself in the water.

Initially they were going to spend just a few minutes in the hot spring, yet the minutes rolled by faster than they expected.

"This place is perfect. So why do I feel like there is something missing?" Victoria sighed in dejection.

"Maybe you secretly hope that Michael came with us?" Claire put a hand over her lips, hiding her giggle.

"You…" With a frown, Victoria rose to her feet before splashing Claire with water.

"Well… There is a mixed bath here, so it's not entirely out of the question." Ava stated as a matter of fact.

"..."

Due to Ava's comment, the two instantly stopped their game. Originally it had been a joke. But for some reason they found themselves not against the idea.

It was normal for people to go to mixed hot springs with friends, so what was the big deal?

"Hey, why is your face getting rosy?!" Enraged, Ava pointed towards Victoria. "Of the three of us, you are the only one that Michael has seen naked. So you must be the least fazed by the idea!"

"Ho?" For reasons that eluded Claire, her brow twitched in irritation.

"Care to tell me how it happened?"

Their chat continued with the topic of discussion shifting to Michael. They could have kept going for hours but were interrupted by a message.

"Speak of the devil…" Ava chuckled, seeing Michael's name.

"If someone is a devil, it's you, Daredevil." Claire remarked.

"Easy to point fingers when people have nicknamed you an Angel!" Ava retorted before pointing at Victoria.

"See? She doesn't have a nickname and doesn't taunt people."

Claire sighed. "She doesn't for now. With time every powerful individual gets one, whether they like it or not."

The idea intrigued Victoria. "So you are a Devil, and you are an Angel. Then what am I supposed to be?"

"Hm…" Ava wondered, remembering Victoria's magma sword and how she didn't back down under higher power, a creature came to mind.

"A Dragon, I suppose?"

Surprisingly, the three found the idea fitting. While some could find the labels rude, they indeed suited them. Taking into account Ava's sharp tongue, Claire's protective nature, and Victoria's affinity for command.

Realizing that she had distracted herself, Ava focused on Michael's message.

"So what does it say?" Victoria sensed the change in her cute junior demeanor.

"Currently surrounded by assassins, any help would be appreciated." Ava slowly read the text.

"..."

Instantly the three sprang into action. They had yet to see Michael joke about this kind of stuff, so they took it to heart.

Dressing in a timely manner, they ran off towards his quarters, their hair still wet from the healing waters.

"What was that?!"

A few of the soldiers that had begun to wake up were stunned when three figures passed them faster than they could perceive.

"Maybe a mirage of sorts? They looked too beautiful to be real…"

Thanks to their high realm, it didn't take them long to get near.

Victoria's gaze sharpened to one of fearless lionesses, as her nose picked up the smell of blood.

Knowing that something had gone amiss, she stopped before Michael's door and blasted it open without hesitation.

"What is happening here?" The three exclaimed in unison, witnessing the scene.
