"You're sure this will work?" Selina turned on the ignition key of the motorcycle.

"Please. I've never failed." The black cat meowed. Its head popped up from her collar.

Aurora was sitting behind holding the Dark Grimoire from her arms.

"Move in, Crow." The black cat communicated with Crow telepathically.

"Roger, Master."

Selina kicked the kickstand off and rode the motorcycle forward full-speed.

Crow jumped down from the bridge. He was still invisible. The purple spear appeared in his hand as he turned into a strip of shadow.

Crow dashed past the pile of mass under the footbridge. His spear swiped over its root, cutting it off from the structure.

The motorcycle reached their location at the same time. Aurora stood up and opened the Dark Grimoire.

"Page of Imprisonment! Chains of Shadow!" The black cat growled.

A black hole appeared on the 18th page. Black chains shot out from the hole and wrapped around the wraith.

The wraith reached its tentacles to Crow, distracted enough to not react to Aurora. It was pulled into the page without much resistance.

The motorcycle continued on its path and disappeared down the street.

Everything happened in a blink of an eye. Someone saw something but they didn't know what they saw.

A flash of purple then some kind of black chains shot out of the leathery book. Everything happened so fast.

"Was it a movie or something?"

"What are those chains? Is it like a new type of fireworks?"

People were confused about what happened but didn't think much about it. In Aeliz City, they had seen crazier things every day.

Selina drove away and stopped at an alley way. "Are you going to enslave it?"

"Why? This thing is very weak. It's best to just eat it." The black cat meowed.

It jumped out from her shirt and checked the 19th page.

[Description]: It is what was left of the body of the pure victim that died on a footbridge. The victim's body scattered into a pile of unrecognizable mass. It gained consciousness from the despair of its unknown purpose. This is a conscious spiritual item.

"Huh…" The black cat stopped midway of opening its mouth.

"What's wrong?" Selina blinked in curiosity.

"This thing is both a wraith and an item. It's not created from the soul of the dead but from the remains of one." The black cat's deep voice echoed.

"So?"

"I can use it for more than eating."

This wraith was extremely ugly and weak. But its existence was unique and it had a very good passive ability.

The black cat rubbed its chin and thought deeply, 'It can drain and transfer energy. Abyssal Abomination can give it a free transforming ability, allowing a very good combination of power. Especially the alter emotion part. It might seem very weak and inconsequential but if paired with the Phantom…"

That place was always crowded and it was noisy all day from all the smithing.

The group went on the motorcycle and drove to the AE Forges. They said hi to Rowan before returning to their forge studio and closed the door tightly behind.

Selina took the Iron Helmet out from the trunk of the motorcycle. The Landa had a really big trunk for carrying items.

Mater jumped to the floor and quickly drew out a Chaos Ritual on the ground using his claws as the pen and Chaos as the fuel.

"I'm going to need your help on this one, Crow." The black cat meowed.

"Please say, Master." Crow stepped forward and bowed.

"When I activate the Ritual, you need to pull more Nether Energy inside the circle."

"I will do just as you said, Master."

The black cat nodded. He then told Selina to place the helmet in the middle of the Chaos Ritual.

Crow sat on the other side of the circle with his hands above the ritualistic circle.

"Everything is ready. Only the Abyssal Seal left."

The black cat floated to the air and created another Abyssal Seal. A similar one that he used on Crow.

The seal caused a wide-scale blackout throughout the city and darkened the sky like last time.

A purple seal floated in the air.

"Now. The Mass of Despair."

The Dark Grimoire stood up from Aurora's hand and spat out the pile of unrecognizable mass onto the Iron Helmet.

Mater raised his two fluffy paws up. "Begin!"

The Chaos Ritual lit up in red. Its chaotic energy bound the wraith and the phantom together.

Mater pushed the Abyssal Seal forward, acting as the core of the Chaos Ritual, and the connection between the two specters.

"Now, Crow!"

"Yes, Master!"

Crow poured his own energy into the Chaos Ritual. The seal pulsed in bright purple.

The sky darkened once more. But this time, circles of light appeared on the surface of the cloud and all the animals began to scream panickily.

"What is even going on right now? This phenomenon is even more aggressive than last time?"

Alister was sitting on a man when the sky darkened. The man was completely motionless. His head was a mess of flesh and blood. Alister's hands were covered in blood.

The man moaned pathetically.

Alister looked down at the man again. "Where is the current VOID headquarters?"

The man mumbled something.

Alister leaned down to listen. He nodded a few times then pulled out his gun.

"You can rest now." The gun fired.

Lucy sat in her new mansion. She opened her eyes and saw the darkened sky outside.

"It's you again. I know it." She snickered.

Lucy walked to the mirror in her bedroom and looked at herself. She had a pair of red eyes. The color of blood. Her nails were also red. Red cracks climbed from her nails to her hands and arms like lightning bolts.

"We'll meet again soon, Selina."

Lucy covered her face like a young girl in love. Her face blushed heavily but her eyes were mad. A kind of obsession that an ordinary human wouldn't have.

Her finger twitched slightly, the red lightning bolts on her hand spread further before settling back to normal.
