Even after finishing off the traitor Grantham, Saradina's work was still not done. She then confiscated the communication magical device and checked it out. This device looked like a small dairy. There were 5 small hollows on the dairy's cover.
Those hollows were there to put magic stones inside it. After putting 5 high grade magic stones there one finally had to activate the device and he would be able to transmit any information by writing it down on the pages of the diary. This was quite a handy tool to share information.
Saradina not only planned to get rid of the traitor but also wanted to use this device to send some false information to the enemy. She already had a discussion with Sandy and Elena and they decided to send a message saying that some of the higher ups of the army were going to attack the Galai fortress to avenge their fallen comrades and they would most probably focus on the north eastern and northern side to infiltrate the castle.
After sending this message the enemy would probably gather more soldiers on that side and they planned to actually infiltrate from the south. The Myrilia army still didn't want the beast king to know that their spy had already been caught. So they didn't want to lie too much. They wanted to use this diary-like device to plot a big scheme in the future. So she only told the partial truth about the attack. Their army did plan to infiltrate those two mentioned sites too, but everyone who would be part of that group was quite adept at running away.
The Myrilia Kingdom army didn't have a detailed map about the Galai fortress but once in the past they were able to infiltrate quite deep into the enemy's base and even tho they were pushed back later on, they were at least able to create a quite detailed map of the southern part of the fortress.
That map also included a secret passage and they plan to use that passage to infiltrate. There was an 80% chance that the Gaim Empire didn't know about this passage as it was a passage that the humans themselves created when they temporarily ruled over the southern part of the fortress. They also hid this passage quite well when they were pushed back and even Grantham had no idea about its existence.
After the information was sent, Saradina existed from the tunnel-like passage and went to meet Major General Sandy in the designated spot. Their operation was going on without any problem so far.
...
On the north eastern side of the Galai fortress, two 2 meter tall red skinned bull beastkins were chatting with each other. They were quite a bit relaxed as suddenly just a few minutes before in the middle of the night, this outpost was given more soldiers to guard for the night. They were also told that there was a high chance of having an enemy attack tonight.
But with extra manpower came the feeling of security so the previous guards were not worried at all. The land in front of the outpost was barren and filled with sands and rocks without any structure that could allow someone to hide. That was why it was almost impossible to sneak inside the fortress from this side with a large army. They could at best send a few hundred soldiers. And that amount of soldiers were nothing to them.
As both of the beastkin soldiers were in high spirits while chatting suddenly an arrow appeared and pierced one of the soldiers head. He died instantly. Seeing that his partner was going to blow a horn to inform everyone but before he could put the horn in his mouth, he also got hit by an arrow and died instantly.
But as this outpost had a lot of soldiers currently, the death of two soldiers got exposed really quickly. All the present soldiers instantly became active and started to search for the enemy.
One of the totem shamans had also been transferred here to this outpost who specialised in searching for life signals. And he was able to easily find life signals of about 500-600 people in the barren land.
Without waiting for anything he instantly attacked that spot from where he felt the life signals were coming from.
The plot of land that looked empty suddenly fluctuated and a battalion of about 500 soldiers appeared out of thin air. One of the soldiers shouted loudly that they had been discovered and the soldiers madly scattered in different directions.
They all were quite good at handling bows and they started shooting the enemy soldiers while running. It was rare for a bull beastkins to specialise in bow so their long range capability was very limited.
The strongest long range fighter among the bull beastkins was the Totem Shamon. But he didn't have any time to spare as he was busy fighting off one of mages who was quite strong especially against shamanic spells.
...
In the northern side of the Galai fortress, the scene was almost the same as the north eastern side but the atmosphere here was more solemn as one of the generals of the Beast King Hapis' army was present there. He was Jokioka, a red bull beastkins with a towering physique.
He was just sitting silently on a chair in the middle of the outpost but the presence he gave off was overwhelming. Suddenly this silently sitting man raised his head and threw the table which was in front of him toward a soldier.
That soldier was frightened out of his wits as he thought that he had made some kind of mistake and the general was going to kill him for that but the table didn't hit him. Actually it hit nothing as was cleaning cut into several pieces.
"Oya, I never thought a brute like you could detect me. I was unable to kill even a single one before I got exposed. How saddening."
Jokioka didn't bother to converse with this intruder. His whole body was radiating frightening fighting intent and he rushed towards the pale and sickly man.
"Not even a greeting. How boring."
Saying so he took out a katana and faced off against Jokioka. But before that he gave his division order to wreck havoc in this outpost.
This sickly looking man was named Kyo. He was one of the 10 elite commanders and was probably the strongest among them. He should get his own noble rank after this war too. He might look thin and weak but actually he was born with monstrous strength.
His figure and weapon of choice might fool others to think that he was someone who specialised in speed. But that could not be further from the truth. He was utterly a muscled brained power fighter. And the thin looking katana that he was holding was actually made from a metal called Xenofavite which was very heavy. His katana actually weighed over 500 kilos. Jokioka was using a large hammer as his weapon of choice and they were exchanging blows one after another.
And while that was happening over 2000 soldiers infiltrated this outpost and started to attack anyone in sight. They were all like mad men or berserkers who were out of control. So the northern outpost of the Galai fortress fell into chaos.
...
In the south of the fortress, General Fabak was having some tea. He was one of the three generals who was currently present in this fortress. He was also the one who received the message from Grantham.
He was more of a strategist than a fighter which was very rare for bull beastkins. He also sent one of the fellow generals, Jokioka in the north and a Totem Shamon who didn't hold any military posts but had the strength equivalent to a general to the north east. He took care of the southern side and the remaining western side was getting taken care of by the last remaining general named Sakamoto.
Soon he got the news that the fight had really broken out in the north and the north eastern side. After getting the report that their side was not in an advantageous situation, he immediately sent more reinforcement there. The Galia fortress had over forty thousand soldiers now so sending a few thousands from other posts would not create any problem.
As he was thinking about the flow of the battle and was waiting for more reports to come he suddenly heard a noise outside his room. The bull beastkins who were situated in the south were mostly from the brown bull clan who were quite boisterous so he got angry thinking that they were making ruckus again.
But just as he was going to scold them for disturbing him, a sword covered by lightning suddenly pierced his torso and made him paralyzed. And as he was trying to assess the situation a spear suddenly came out of a dark corner and pierced through his brain killing him.
