Wepwewet suddenly got a summon from the Beast Emperor of the Gaim Empire himself. That made him a little bit nervous as it was the first time that he got summoned like this.

The current ruler of the Beast Empire of Gaim was the Royal Lion beastkin, Leonhart Bravesoul. He defeated his grandfather, who was also the previous Beast Emperor to get this title. Even tho the power handover was a little forced, for beastkins it was very normal and proper.

Leonhart was only 36 years old. For the royal clan of lion beastkins whose normal life expectancy was about 500-700 years, this was a very young age. But he had managed to reach the level of a S ranker in this short amount of time which was very impressive. His current level was 337 which made his strong even among the S ranker and that was why his prestige was also very high in the eyes of all the citizens of the Gaim Empire.

It was not Wepwewet's first time meeting the Emperor face to face but he was still equally nervous as the first time. After getting the title of the Beast Emperor, they received several skills, one among them was called, Emperor Aura, and it made his subjects feel heavy pressure when they came face to face with the emperor.

This was the formal process of greeting the emperor. After this was over it was finally time for the Beast Emperor to speak.

"Minister Wepwewet, you have been given the prestigious position of minister of internal affairs due to our belief in your ability. But we have received a report about you abusing your position. What do you have to say about that ?"

Leonhart had a very regal voice worthy of a king. His voice filled with the majesty of someone who was used to ruling over others. As soon as Wepwewet heard it he broke out in a cold sweat. He had tried to maintain as much secrecy as possible whenever he tried to help Hapis but somehow his actions were still detected. As the emperor had summoned him like this he was sure that the court had definite proofs about his actions. So it was impossible to act like he knew nothing.

"Please forgive this foolish minister's inappropriate action, his majesty. I have been saddened after knowing that a close friend of mine was facing a measurable situation so I mistakenly misused my power and authority to help him. It is completely my fault. I'm willing to suffer any punishment please just let the bull beast king off as he is completely innocent in this regard."

It was an excellent lie as two thirds of what he said was true. Hapis' domain was really having some trouble with food as it was located close to a desert. So it was very hard for them to gather enough food. Bull beastkins were a race of people who ate a lot so it was an even bigger problem for them.

Leonhart asked this question after showing Wepwewet a magical picture of three people sitting inside a dark room. After learning about the recent occurrence the bull beast king Hapis was very upset. In this war between the Myrilia Kingdom and the Gaim Empire, it was supposed to be their side which should have an overwhelming advantage. But nothing was going as he planned.

First their secured fortress was attacked and they lost an important general. Then their infiltration mission also did not produce any results. They also failed in capturing the small bases and then two remaining fortresses were also breached. Now it was getting out of hand for Hapis.

So, after thinking about it for sometime, he finally decided to not think anymore. He was the king among the bulls. Their leader. So obviously he also had the natural tendencies and instincts of one. It was just that he was quite proficient in controlling those instincts as a high level individual.

But now after suffering from setbacks back to back, he finally decided that enough was enough. He completely stopped controlling his instincts and let it run free. And after that he again thought about the problems and a very easy solution appeared in his mind and he decided to act on that solution instantly. So, he roared and his voice boomed through the whole base where he was staying -

"MOOOOOOOO !!!! Let's go to war."

Yes, finally the A ranked level 275 Bull Beast king Hapis was going to participate in the war himself.

Horas was a beast Overlord who was from the Royal clan of Hawk beastkins who were able to produce an Emperor 3 generations prior. That was why his clan was a royal beast overlord clan with one past emperor.

The clan of the current ruler was the royal lion beast overlord clan with 9 emperors.

The hawks lost their emperor to the lions three generations prior and since then the lion royal beasts had been monopolizing the position of the emperor.

That was why, the royal clan of the hawks hated the current royal family very much. But the royal lion beast overlord clan was just too strong so they were not able to do anything to them. So, having no other way they tried to get away from the Gaim Empire itself.

After interrogating Wepwewet, the plot that Horas hatched became very clear. He wanted to take advantage of the turmoil in the royal court to launch a quick attack on the neighbouring Myrilia Kingdom and then they wanted to combine their domains in the beast empire of Gaim and the newly conquered land of Myrilia Kingdom to create a new nation.

Wepwewet wanted to become a prime minister not just a lowly minister of internal affairs, so he joined the grand plan with the promise of becoming the first even prime minister of the new nation. As for beast king Hapis, he was a very talented individual who was able to levitate the status of a mediocre bull beastkin clan to a beast king clan completely on his own. Now he wanted to give his clan an even better future by becoming the cornerstone of a new nation.

It was an ingenious plot but the trio had no idea that the royal lion beast overlord clan had a very close relationship with another overlord clan who had a very deep information network throughout the empire. So their very secretive plan was not very secret to the current Emperor. That was the reason for their downfall. So the emperor did not want to escalate the situation anymore with the Myrilia Kingdom so he sent the royal guards to arrest Horas.

But when the guards reached the mansion of Overlord Horas they found it to be completely empty. And soon a declaration of non obedience was issued from Beast Overlord Horas. He had already returned to his domain and was completely battle ready.

The beast god, Zenkaplua was an intermediate god and he asked for an audience with the high goddess of Moon, Lunamaria. She was busy with maintaining the existence of the moon but that didn't make her very busy compared to other high gods so she was able to meet with him without any problem.

As soon as Zenkaplua saw the moon goddess he instantly greeted her with a bowed head. For the gods, hierarchy was very important and as the moon goddess was higher in the hierarchy than the beast god, he had to show her respect.

He then told the moon goddess the reason for his coming and that was to apologise for suddenly letting a nation under his jurisdiction to attack another nation under the moon goddess' protection. She obviously didn't take this matter seriously as little wars between mortals were no big deal to her. The same was true for the beast god but still he had to maintain the rules so he came to formally apologize.

After that was over both of them had some small talks and they Zenkaplua was going to leave just as he had almost left the divine realm of the moon goddess he suddenly heard a startled gasp. Bewildering about it and looking back he saw a surprised Lunamaria sitting there. Then she mumbled -

"Elder Sister Elena is participating in this little war. I have to let all the members of the fan club now, we might get a chance to see the sublime posture of her in a battlefield. How wonderful."

Then she sunk into her own delusions and Zenkaplua left the divine realm quickly fearing his safety.
