After checking the menu of the hidden restaurant Elena found that the speciality of this restaurant was their meat dishes. After asking Xia Lifang about it she learnt that it was because the elder who was supporting this hidden restaurant was a big fan of all kinds of meat.

It was not like the whole menu was filled with meat dishes but it still took almost sixty five percent of the menu. These all meat dishes were researched and developed by the disciple of that elder and they were unique to this particular restaurant. So Elena decided to taste some of them with some bread and also rice.

Xia Lifang was not particularly a big fan of foods so she did not order much but after seeing Elena eating and enjoying herself immensely, she also got interested and ordered a few more dishes to taste. All in all, it was a good experience for both Elena and Xia Lifang.

After having a satisfying dinner they parted ways. Elena had thanked Xia Lifang a lot as she was really grateful to her for telling Elena about this hidden restaurant. Even though Xia Lifang was not a super talented disciple for cultivation, her talent in communication and making connections were top notch. So having a good relationship with her was a good idea.

After coming back to her room Elena quickly went to bed for a good night sleep. She needed to wake up very early the next day and there were some beasts that needed food very early in the morning and quite a few such breasts were present inside the Haze Jade pavilion.

The next morning Elena woke up at the perfect time and went to the provision hall to collect the food for the beasts. She was given a storage bag to carry the food as the weight of the total food was insanely heavy. But Elena needed to return the storage bag in perfect condition or she would get a fine.

There were a total of 5 beasts that needed to be fed in the early morning. Among them four were avian species and only the remaining one was a snake type beast.

Elena had thoroughly studied the information that Xia Lifang gave her so he had a very good idea about the type of beasts living in the Haze Jade pavilion.

After giving the food to those five beasts Elena went to the side hall of the Haze Jade pavilion to cook food for the other beasts. The beasts of the Haze Jade pavilion were especially ferocious so they were given some special care. That cooking process was nothing complex so even an amateur could finish it easily. So it was not a problem for Elena.

The first five beasts that Elena fed were not too violent. They did have an unpleasant mood and were not friendly at all but they were at least not violent but the next batch of beasts were bad news as almost all of them were insanely violent.

Elena really had a hard time feeding them while acting as a weak person. Elena did not use her powers to make the job easy because this place was monitored all the time so showing off her powers might create problems for her. It was not like she could not just fool the whole system and cheat but having this sort of hard time was also a kind of experience so Elena did not mind it.

Even though those beasts were acting violently, they were still trapped inside a formation and could not hurt Elena at all who was outside the formation. So Elena was never in any serious danger but getting close to a large beast who was showing killing intent toward you, needed a lot of courage.

But still Elena was easily able to finish her job. Even though those beasts acted like they hated the food given to them, still that consumed the whole thing without any complaints after Elena left.

The next two batches were also problematic but Elena was handling them without any problem because of the formation. But the fifth batch which was also the last one became a really big problem. That was because one of the beasts from that batch was able to break the formation and attack her.

That beast was able to successfully go through a bloodline evolution. So his stats increased quite a bit and he was able to get enough strength to break through the formation. But there was always a strong elder present in this place to manage them so if this beast broke the formation, he would be immediately killed. So he waited for a good chance to break the formation and escape.

Finally when Elena came in to feed the beasts that elder left the Haze Jade pavilion. But the beast still waited for his perfect chance. After his bloodline evolution, his intelligence had increased exponentially so he was able to make plans and scheme. It wanted to kill the disciple who was feeding them as soon as he broke the formation. He thought that if he did not kill the disciple instantly then that disciple might alert the elders of his escape.

So he made his move when Elena came close to his trap formation to give him food. When Elena was within his reach, the beast immediately broke the formation and attacked Elena. For the beast, Elena looked like a little girl who had just started cultivating so he was sure he would be able to kill her in a single attack.

He did not know that the Haze Jade pavilion was monitored at all the time and his plan would never be successful. But with limited information, this was the best plan he could come up with.

But just when his attack was about to reach the disciples head, she suddenly slipped her feet and fell down. So, his claws missed the girl by a hair's breath. That girl was truly super lucky.

As soon as the formation was broken, one of the outer sect elders was immediately alerted and he quickly arrived in the hall. Entering the hall he saw the scene of a little girl looking fearfully at a giant black lion like beast and that beast trying to eat the girl.

Enraged, the elder quickly cast a water magic spell to create several weapons made of water and threw all of them toward the Black Hell Lion beast. It felt the threatening aura of the attack and shifted his attention to the incoming attack.

Using that chance the girl ran away from the beast and the elder was very impressed by the girl's quick wits. He then focused solely on dominating the beast and was able to knock it out after five minutes or so.

After taking care of the freed beast he reported the incident to the main hall and told them that the Black Hell Lion was able to go through a bloodline evolution secretly without alerting anyone. He also mentioned that a brave disciple named Lu Kao had performed exceptionally in this incident and for that reason, Elena was given a reward of one thousand and five hundred contribution points for her bravery.

After successfully completing her two missions and also getting an unexpected reward of a huge amount of contribution points, Elena was in a good mood. She was really very satisfied with her acting in that beast incident. The way he acted like a lucky, brave and intelligent girl was really amazing in her opinion. After returning to her house Elena went to sleep happily.

The next day, Elena went to the sect inventory hall to use some of her contribution points. Obviously she did not need anything from the Emerald Palace sect, but she wanted to get her hands on some items that she could gift to other disciples. She wanted to give some normal gifts to people like Xia Lifang and Lan Tuning who were good to her.

Entering the hall, Elena once again found the magic crystals that she saw when she went to get her mission. Here, these crystals stored the information about the available items and their cost. Elena could choose and redeem any items from the list if she had enough contribution points.

Elena did not need any particular treasures that could help some specific people, so she ended up spending eight hundred contribution points on pills and talismans which could help anyone in cultivation and also in saving their life in critical situations.

Elene herself could easily make such simple pills but then she would not be able to explain how she got them. So getting some from the inventory hall was her best option if she wanted to gift them to other disciples.

After getting the pills and the talismans, Elena returned to her house. There she found that her teacher Cao Ruyan had sent a message to her. She was very impressed by Elena's performance in the previous week and she said that she had a chance that could allow Elena to become an inner sect disciple immediately and she wanted to talk about it.

Elena had no intention of becoming an inner sect disciple, at least not so soon. She had not even enjoyed the life of an outer sect disciple fully till now. But still, she could not just reject her in-name teacher and went to meet her.
