The very next morning, Dalia and Elena went to meet the entertainment group. These people were all solo travelling entertainers previously and were able to barely get by. But then one of them had a brilliant plan to create a group together. All of them were good at certain things and bad at others, so their performance was not able to impress many people.

But when all of them came together and made the best use of their talent and speciality, very soon they were able to become one of the most famous entertaining groups of such a large nation like the Ioikashi kingdom.

The leader of this group of 9 people was Merlin, a handsome elf, who was also a very good composer but his own singing was average at best. Then they had an expressionless elvin lady with a heavenly voice but no sense at writing lyrics, a shy instrument player who is too shy to play anything if he was alone and it made them to be a very interesting group to be around.

Merlin greeted Dalia and thanked her very politely for protecting them for the duration of the journey. Obviously they knew who Dalia was. As a great alchemy genius, she was extremely famous so much so that even children knew about her as their parents always compared them to her.

Other than Elena and Dalia, 5 more adventurers would also be joining them in this journey. The journey to the Kakina city was very peaceful so the other 5 were all just D rankers. For that reason seeing an A ranker and another potential high ranking adventurer was almost like a dream to them.

They were a team of three male elves and two female elves. They were quite young for elves, just a few hundred years old and were trying to make a name for themselves. All of them were quite energetic good boys and girls and everyone was very happy with them.

The entertainment group now had no fear of any troubles on the road with an A ranker with them, so they decided to take a slightly more dangerous but much faster route. They told Dalia about it and she easily agreed. The land where the elves lived was filled with forest. Just go a little bit away from a city and you would find yourself in the middle of a forest. So travelling generally took more time here than in other places.

For, that reason, even though the Kakina city was not too far away in terms of distance, even with a shorter route, they would need four to five days to complete the journey. Elena was completely fine with it as she was in no hurry at all, and the same was true for Dalia. As an elf she concept of time was very different. She would not even consider a few years to be late let alone just a few insignificant days.

Just as the entertainers had said, most of the monsters and beasts they encountered on their way were in the early one hundreds. So, the D rank adventurers were able to take care of them. Seeing them once again the inner teacher of Elena woke up and she ended up giving them some useful advice about what they individually could do to improve and how their cooperation could become better.

Other than a few easy fights here and there, all in all this day was very peaceful. Elena's group then found a small clearing in the middle of the first and decided to spend the night here. Even though the elves could see in the dark very well and had little need for sleep, the monsters became too active in the night, so it was better to just take a little break instead of getting into danger by taking unnecessary risks.

Obviously as they were travelling with an entertainment group, they did some performance while camping out at night. As this was not a serious performance, the other adventurers also joined them and everyone had a good time including Elena and Dalia.

The next day that set off once again and the first troublesome opponent showed up which the other adventurer group would not be able to defeat. It was a humanoid monster with a very scary looking large scaly tail. This monster was a peak C rank one and was definitely quite something that the five young adventurers would not be able to handle at this point.

So, Dalia took action and used a weak fire magic spell to immediately burn that monster. As an alchemist needed to have good control over the fire magic, Dalia had practiced a lot and her fire magic was extremely strong, especially her control. So, even when she used fire magic in the middle of a forest, it did not create a forest fire.

The forest they were going through had B rank monsters inside it. That was the reason why the entertainers did not choose this route. And it was a very correct decision. After that first C rank monster, many other C rank monsters showed up and every time Dalia was needed to take action. Elena also casually destroyed a few of them. If Dalia and Elena were not with this group, all of them would have absolutely died.

Soon, with Dalia and Elena they were able to leave the forest relatively unharmed. Even after the very end, they did not encounter any B rank monsters which was a good thing. Other than this forest, they also have another forest where they would need Elena and Dalia to perform but that forest was close to the Kakina city, so that would reach that place almost at the end of their journey.

Now, it was Dalia's and Elena's time to relax and the adventurer group once again picked up the duty to protect the entertainers. After seeing first hand how powerful the two senior adventurers travelling with the were, all of them were extremely excited and fought with very high vigor.

Elena had obviously secretly expected that a few elves would lose their mind and would become bandits, but the elves were way too prideful in their bones to do such a thing and Elena's wish remained unfulfilled. That was something to be happy about and Elena was also genuinely happy to see that elves were quite noble in this matter.

Days went on just like that without much things happening but Elena was enjoying the experience of this leisurely journey. Soon they reached the final phase of their travel and there was a forest in front of them. After crossing it, they could reach the Kakina city in just half a day.

But currently everyone was standing in front of the forest without being able to enter it. It was not like a barrier or something was blocking them from entering, but just that the forest was giving off a palpable ominous feeling and everyone other than Elena and Dalia were too scared to step foot inside.

Seeing this situation, Dalia muttered with a serious expression on her face -

"Someone is trying to breed a strong B rank monster in this forest by accumulating the resentment of the forest. It's disgusting."

Dalia knew about a forbidden method to torture a forest and create resentment from it. And then use that resentment to create a strong monster. As the first in front of them only had peak C rank as the highest power level, it was only capable of creating a B rank monster at best.

The process of torturing a forest was very easy to do. Like, to burn a few parts of it, cut a few trees, kill some animals randomly etc. But for elves who loved nature, trees and forest it was a heinous crime. Hearing that all the other elves also showed the expression of disgust.

Elena understood why Dalia was so upset and immediately suggested a plan that would allow Dalia to vent her frustration. It was not something complex but to just clear the situation and beat the shit out of the people, who did it and Dalia immediately started taking action.
