First Dalia went to investigate the forest while Elena started to purify it. She used a purification skill that covered the whole forest and immediately that ominous aura disappeared. But Elena was not done with it and used a rejuvenation skill on the forest that made the forest lash and refreshed once more.

The elves who were the entertainers and the other adventurers were very impressed with how easily Elena was able to heal the forest back up. Anyone who had the capability to do something like that was to be respected in the elvin society, so everyone started to praise Elena to the high heavens.

Soon Dalia returned and shook her in disappointment. She had found many clues inside the forest, but nothing that would allow her to find the culprits behind this. Seeing her dejected expression, Elena told her -

"Don't worry. What they have done is not something that can be done very secretly. That will at least need some manpower to do this job. And as the only place where someone could live here is the Kakina city so we will definitely be able to find some clues about them in the city. So do not lose hope."

Hearing Elena, Dalia once again got serious and nodded her head. Then, quickly the whole group started to cross the forest. The entertainment group and the adventurers told Dalia that she should just go ahead to the city as in the current situation this forest was not dangerous anymore as all the monsters living here were already dead. But Dalia refused that proposal as she did not want to put the group in any kind of danger for her own impatience.

Obviously, everyone was in a hurry to reach the city as soon as possible, the whole group did not take any breaks along the way and rashed to the city in a short amount of time. Then they parted ways with the group after entering the city.

The entertainment group had some people in this city who gave them a place to stay here and they went to meet with him. The young adventurers also had to report to the adventurer guild about the completion of their mission and then had to search for a cheap but good inn to stay. So that went to do just that. As for Elena and Dalia, they started to search for any information about people who went close to that forest in the last couple of days.

Elves were not very talkative to begin with and for that reason the passive search did not go too well. If it was a human town, then they would have been able to discover something by now. Then Dalia started to think with a different perspective. For any elves, hurting a forest was a very heinous thing to do, so there were not many who would have the cruel mindset to do something like that.

So next she started to search for places where evil people like them might gather and soon they found a place like that. This place was located in the underground part of a somewhat reputed tavern and according to the thief from whom they got this information, it was the only place in the city where the criminals were able to get a break and were able to enjoy themselves without the fear of getting arrested.

The owner of this place was an A ranker and he had a weird hobby of running a place where no one would be judged for anything that they had done outside. As this person was quite powerful, even the authorities were not able to arrest him without taking a great risk. And the criminals were using this habit of his to hide themselves in this place.

Founding about this place, Dalia was very much sure that she would be able to find some information about the people responsible for the forest's pain here. So she decided to storm into the hidden tavern. As it was not dangerous for them and was actually the simplest solution, Elena did not stop her even though it was a bit of a reckless move and went alongside her.

The owner of this place had not put any restrictions on who could enter this place and who could not, so Elena and Dalia were able to enter the place without any restriction. But obviously only the criminals were well known about that place. The general population did not know about it at all. So if anyone was able to come to this secret place, then they were most probably related to some criminal or were in some kind of shady business.

But what surprised them was the fact that the newcomers were a pair of beautiful girls. Elves were all very beautiful, but even among them Elena and Dalia were exceptional. A few men had the intention to hit on the girls and even to force themselves on them, but as the owner of this place had prohibited any kind of forceful measures, they had to forget about assaulting them here. They still kept an eye on Elena and Dalia to find out more about them.

The owner of this place was a dark elf with dark chocolate colour skin, purple hair and red eyes. He did look like an intense person but Dalia did not think that he was particularly a bad person. So she controlled her rage and started to listen to everyone silently to find some kind of information here.

Elena on the other hand, asked the owner for some drinks and handed him some money. While giving him the money, she also handed him a little note. The owner was a bit surprised and curious, so he opened the small piece of paper and took a look at the note. Immediately his eyes constricted and a look of horror immediately appeared on his face for a moment.

But he quickly controlled his expression and gave Elena a deep look. Noticing that he was looking at her, Elena gave her a slightly teasing smile and grabbed a small decoration from the counter. Then she held that decoration with a little more force and it immediately got smashed.

Seeing it, the dark elf tavern owner whose name was Michael almost fainted. Those decorations were not simple decorations but were special equipment that he used for his daily strength practice. According to his knowledge, only a S ranker would have the power to break them, let alone just smashing it so effortlessly.

When Dalia and Elena had entered the tavern, he immediately noticed that they were quite strong. He was able to accurately judge that the red haired girl was almost as strong as him but he was not sure about the golden haired one. She might be stronger than him or might just be weaker. He was not sure. But it turned out that the golden haired girl was a S ranker. Now he knew why he was unable to see through him.

In his despair, he did as he was instructed in the small note and casually invited the two girls for a chat inside. It was rare but the owner did invite a few girls to "chat" with them inside so it was not suspicious. After taking the girls to a private room, Michael solemnly asked about their purpose. Elena had already told Dalia in a mental message that she had threatened the tavern owner a bit and now he should co-operate so she told him about the forest incident and asked about who might have the mindset to do something like that. After thinking about it for some time, he handed three pages of magic paper and said that, these three were the people who went close to that forest in the last few days and were evil enough to do something like that. Dalia was very happy with the information and went back to the main tavern.

A worried tavern owner tried to ask Elena about how she knew about his past secrets but Elena just told him that only she knew this information and he should not worry about it. Then she left the tavern alongside Dalia to search for the people mentioned in the paper.
