The battle between Beasts and Humans was in a state of stalemate. In the last few battles where they clashed, both the human side and the beast side suffered minimum damage. Not only that but the beast side also suddenly gained two more beast sovereigns which had restored the balance between two sides and that's why the beasts were not very willing to attack the humans again.

Meanwhile, both in the human and the beast camp many new things were introduced that belonged to the opposite camp. But those new things were either extremely entertaining or very useful, so both sides liked them a lot. In that way, a shift of opinion was visible.

Then suddenly both the top tier heroes and the beast sovereigns started to notice that spatial fluctuations suddenly started to appear in various places. They also started to feel some sort of unease that was directly targeting their soul.

It was actually the will of the world who was sending some distress signals to his top powerhouse according to Elena's proposal. This was her way to make the strongest of the world to be prepared about the upcoming situation.

Then on a normal day of this world a total of 237 gates appeared all over the world. The gates were nothing more than portals of various sizes but the power or the danger of these gates were measured using the amount of aura a gate was giving off.

But as one of the powerful heroes was staying close to this gate, the monsters were not able to deal a lot of damage. But still as the gates might appear anywhere without any warning and could even release dangerous monsters to the outside world, this became a very unstable element.

Elena, who was now quite old immediately opened a new company that started to deal with these gates. She bought the monster materials and the items found inside the gates from the people who went inside and started to do research on them.

Very soon the job description of the hero disappeared completely and the hero association alongside it. Now the users of Arshante had a new title which was "Hunters". These hunters were now responsible for clearing gates and having a common population from it. Both the humans and the beasts became hunters one after another as the inside of a gate turned out to be a very profitable place.

The body parts left behind by a monster after getting killed could be used to create magical armament that was extremely powerful. The cores that very rarely a monster dropped turned out to be a nature friendly source of pure energy. And there were extremely rare times when a boss monster would drop something called a Arshante stones which could allow an ordinary person to awaken some kind of ability.

That was something amazing and rich people were willing to spend an unbelievable amount of money to get their hands on it. So in just 10 years after the appearance of gates, the whole world had changed. Now almost everything was mostly dependent on the gates and hunters became the major successful people of this world, just like it was before with the heroes.

Beasts also started to get used to technologies when it started to use the nature friendly monster cores as the source of energy. Even Elena was a bit surprised by how adaptable both humans and beasts were. They had almost forgotten about their long rivalry in just a matter of decades. Obviously there were still people who were struck in the previous mindset but they were just the minority.

Monsters were not the only profitable part of the gates. Many other valuable items could also be found inside. From rare minerals to mysterious plants, everything could be found inside the gates.

Now that Elena was done preparing everything for the world, she now was going to create the seedlings who were going to be the future guardians of the world. To give that person an advantage, she created something called "The Player System'.

This system had a very simple function to introduce levels to this world. In the last 50 years Elena had written several novels with several pen names and had made the concept of systems and levels to get popular in this world. In that way, the person who would suddenly gain the system would not be too surprised and would be able to use it in the proper way.

But this system that Elena planned was only meant for the humans. She had different plans for the guardian of the beast race. She was going to introduce the beasts with the concept of mutation and evolution. That way one chosen beast would be able to mutate to gain the ability of a monster and would also be able to evolve into higher ranking species to gain new ability.

She was going to give the beast guardian concept of ranks where each rank would be equivalent to 20 levels. That way he or she would also be able to gain a simple level indicator. For beasts it was best for the whole process to be simple.
