Elena displayed one of her most prized sword skills to Tomoe in order to give her a new target to follow. This was not a realm that she would be able to reach before her next ascension but it was definitely something that would always make her to remember that there was always a higher mountain.

After that both of them left the secret realm and returned back to the village. As soon as everyone saw Tomoe they were able to immediately realise that she had finally reached the S ranks. After noticing that, everyone came to her in order to congratulate her on the successful ascension.

Everyone was extremely happy that Tomoe was finally able to fulfill her dreams of reaching the S ranks with her sword skills fully perfected for her realm. That was truly an amazing deed. So they needed a big celebration for this grand event.

So, immediately everyone started preparing for the grand celebration. There was a ritual that the advanced person needed to hunt a prey of the same rank for everyone of the village to enjoy and so Tomoe was taken to an area in the desert by Melline where S rank beasts could be found. Meanwhile all the villagers started to decorate the village for the grand celebration.

The monster that Tomoe was going to fight was a large scorpion and all the other S rankers of the village were going to witness it. Elena was also tagging along with them. This monster was only at level 301 and was a perfect opponent for a just advanced S rank.

Actually this area was a secret layer of S rank scorpion monsters that no one else knew about. These scorpions could not reach a level higher than the initial S rank and they were also unable to leave this dark cave as the sunlight was very damaging to them. So these monsters were the perfect opponent for the new advanced S rankers to get used to their strength.

Now it sounded absurd that a S rank monster would be so weak to the sun that it was unable to even resist it at all but it was all true. This particular species was actually cursed by the Sun God Sol himself and that was the reason behind their crippling weakness to it.

The battle did not even last more than two minutes. Elena judged that Tomoe would have been able to defeat this particular scorpion monster even before her ascension to the S rank so now it was just a child's play for her. Melline, Viola and Sanya were extremely impressed with her performance. Now that her rival had reached the same rank as her, Sanya immediately challenged her to a duel. Then it was decided that the duel would take place in the village as an exhibition match to showcase their powers to the other villagers. This way everyone would get motivated to work harder toward the S ranks.

As soon as it was declared that Sanya and Tomoe would be having an exhibition match, the whole village started bubbling with excitement and enthusiasm. All the ladies of the village had seen these two to grow up together and always fought with one another. And now that they were finally going to have a serious battle in the S ranks, no one wanted to miss it.

Those two girls were like everyone's little sisters and it was a gratifying feeling for the ladies to witness their growth and to see how far they had come. So all the ladies were watching with a merry atmosphere as Sanya and Tomoe faced off against each other.

Even though Sanya had been trained by Melline in the art of martial arts, her preferred weapon of choice was actually not her fists or kicks but actually a spear. Martial arts was there if she for some reason lost her weapon but normally she was a master spear user. As for Tomoe she was using her trusty sword which would now be able to grow alongside her.

At the start of the battle, they did not go all out and just demonstrated their amazing moves for the audience to enjoy. No one was able to hurt each other as both of them knew each other extremely well.

Then after a few minutes they finally started to get serious. Unexpectedly it was Tomoe who was able to get the initial lead in the battle. But very soon Tanya started to use a special spear art that she learnt after reaching the S ranks and she was able to push Tomoe back with it.

After a back and forth for about 1 hour the winner of the Battle became clear and it was none other than Tomoe. Even though Tanya was able to gain some advantage at one point of the fight, Tomoe was able to destroy that advantage with a new sword move that she just came up with.

Obviously Tanya was quite a bit depressed. No one liked losing. Especially to a childhood friend and rival. But she actually already had a guess that she would not be able to defeat her. The level gap between them was not really massive and Tomoe had definitely polished her skills more than Tanya did with her skills. So after drinking for a bit she slowly accepted the fact that she was still the weakest among all the S rankers.

After that fun party was over Elena stayed in the village for 7 more days. But then she suddenly declared that she was going to leave the village. The villagers of the sacred village were so used to Elena's presence that it was hard for them to go back to their previous life when they did not know about Elena.

But they already knew that a day like this would come. So even with sadness in their hearts, they decided to hold a farewell party for Elena.

But Elena did not allow that. Instead it was Elena who held an appreciation party for the ladies of the village where she personally hunted and cooked for them. She used various S rank monsters as the meat source, some of those monsters were not even native to the desert. So all in all it was an exotic feast.

That same night Tomoe came to Elena and requested Elena for a favour. Elena was fond of all the honest girls of this village so she was willing to fulfill any desire of this little sister of hers.

Tomoe requested Elena to allow her to join Elena for a journey. She had never left the village before so she was extremely unfamiliar with everything. As she was always busy with improving her sword and was one of the youngest members of this village, she never got the chance to experience the outside world.

So now that she had some free time in her hands, she wanted to experience it and who was a better companion for her maiden journey but Elena and that was why she requested it from her.

Elena had no problem accepting it and it would also be fun to visit new places alongside Tomoe. So after getting permission from Melline, both of them left the village with the promise to come back soon enough.
