Elena saw Tomoe calmly entering the dark back alley and then she called the people out who were targeting her. It was not a single person but a group of 6 people. One among them was a dark elf lady, another two were a fair elf lady and a man. The last three were beastkins who looked like wolves. They were not too weak either and were in the late stages of the C rank. Which was very impressive in most parts of the world.

Seeing them Tomoe sharpened her eyes even more and asked in a low voice -

"Why did all of you are targeting me ?"

The dark elf woman was very jealous of Tomoe's beauty so she was very much willing to scare her. So she replied in a teasing tone -

"Fufu, you're asking this after creating that mess in the market. The shopkeepers had suffered quite a huge loss by that stunt you pulled and now they want you to pay for it."

"I did not lie about anything so I'm also not responsible for any of their losses. I don't have any money to give to these cheating lowlives."

Hearing that everyone started laughing. Then one of the beastkins spoke up -

"Hahaha, little girl, you're too naive if you think that paying a little bit of money would be enough to satisfy them. Most of them were big shots of the city and have no lack of money. What they want is your sexy body. So if you know what is good for you then obediently follow us and apologize to them. Then allow them to enjoy your body. Then they might be willing to forgive you. Oh and call for that other lady too who was with you. She was also quite beautiful and could please the big bosses."

Tomoe was unwilling to hear anymore and her body flashed with purple light for a moment. Then suddenly all the people in front of her had their heads getting separated from their bodies. Tomoe had slashed through all their necks in just a blink of an eye and all of them died without knowing how.

Tomoe was quite angry after getting humiliated like that. She was also very disappointed that she had implicated even Elena. Just as she was thinking about what to do next, she suddenly saw that all the dead bodies before her started to burn. Then someone tapped her shoulder and started to advise her in a soothing voice.

"When you kill someone outside of the Sacred village most of the time you need to get rid of their dead bodies to not allow anybody from tracking you. But before that don't forget to strip them of all their valuables."

Elena told Tomoe that while showing her all the things that she took from the burning people before setting fire in them. Then among that item, she took out a notebook and opened it. There recently the owner of the notebook had written down the name of the person who brought this job of kidnapping Tomoe to them.

Then Elena handed Tomoe the notebook and asked what she wanted to do. Tomoe was a bit at a loss as she was not sure what she should do. So she looked at Elena with the look of a lost puppy.

Seeing Elena laughed out loud started to tell her about what options she had. The easiest thing to do in this situation would be to forget about the whole thing. But this was an option Elena knew that Tomoe would not like.

Then she could attack the people who were responsible for this and could take revenge on them. At the same time Elena also told Tomoe that killing was not always the best option. She did not blame Tomoe for killing those men as she knew that after getting humiliated like that, it was hard for her to hold back. But if she had just badly injured them then instead of killing them, then they would have been able to gain a lot more information. Elena made sure that Tomoe understood all that and asked her to make a decision.

It did not take long for Tomoe to make a decision. She was immediately ready to take care of the problem from the roots. From what she had heard, the people who had ordered her kidnapping were all influential in this city, so if she did not take care of this problem then they might continue harassing them which would be very irritating.

Immediately after making their decision, both Elena and Tomoe put their visit to the alchemical shop on hold and decided to take care of this problem first. So they went to interrogate one of those merchants. It was not hard to find him as he was still in his shop and this person was offering the most amount of money for Tomoe's kidnapping so she judged him to be special even among the businessmen. At first Tomoe wanted to capture him in broad daylight in front of everyone but again Elena advised against it and gave her a quick teaching about how important secrecy was for this kind of missions. So instead of attacking him from the front, Tomoe waited for the time when he went to the back of his shop to take a little break and captured him there. This man had never expected that he would get captured by the person whom he wanted to capture.

His willpower was very weak so interrogating him was very easy. After feeling just a little bit of pain, he immediately started to tell everything. It turned out that this man was not any big shot or anything but was just way too infatuated with Tomoe's beauty and so he wanted to spend a lot of money to get his hands on her before everyone else.

But that was just secondary information. The more important information that they learnt was that the people who wanted to capture Tomoe were a part of a very big organisation. Taking revenge for that slight loss was just an excuse and actually they wanted to capture Tomoe to sell her as a slave.

As this city was connected to other continents, if they were able to send the captured slaves out of the continent then it would become very hard to track them down. That was the reason why this city had turned into a haven for the illegal slave traders.

From that man they also learned that the bigshots were planning to organise a big get together for all the people related to this syndicate tomorrow night. That was also the occasion where they were planning to taste Tomoe. They did something like that almost every year to keep in touch with everyone. Elena and Tomoe wanted to use that chance to get rid of all these disgusting people.

But the main problem was that this party was going to take place in the middle of the sea in a large ship. So first they needed to find a way to get their hands on some ships or they needed to either swim or fly there.

While thinking about this they returned back to the inn for lunch. Now what would happen in the future.
