In the middle of the ocean, there was a super large ship. Many Alchemists had worked on this ship for years before finally completing it just a month or so before. This ship was definitely one of if not the largest ship that had ever been made. But the size was not the only awesome thing about it. This ship was also equipped with top class barrier devices and plating.

The attack system installed in the ship was also insanely high tech. According to the people who had worked on this ship, it was capable of even stopping a S ranker from immediately destroying it which was a massive deal.

On the deck of the ship, many men and women in luxurious clothing were walking around. The deck was decorated with many expensive things and it looked more like a hall for the nobles than a deck of a ship. These people did wear clothes which were just as expensive or even more expensive than the stuff that nobles usually wore but just taking a look at them was enough to see that these clothing did not suit them very well. There was a disharmony between them and the clothing.

That was because these people were not nobles and did not have the knowledge to act like one. It might look that nobles had the easiest life which was true in many cases but still they needed to learn about etiquette and manners since their childhood. But these merchants who were trying to act like one did not have that knowledge or class.

But among them there was a man standing in the middle of the deck like the main character of this place, which was actually true. He was the mayor of the city of Hel Oieri and he had the highest position among all the people present here.

He was one of the few people who looked very classy in this place. He was an elderly looking elf with some of his hairs turning grey but he was still able to maintain a very solid physique and bright eyes full of energy. His name was Doan Yuan.

Beside his two men were standing as his bodyguard. Even though they were supposed to be his bodyguards, they did not act the way a bodyguard should act. One of the men was a dark elf with a very large and muscular body he was wearing nothing except a baggy pants to cover his large frame. Currently he was fondling the boobs of two women.

Another man was a tigerkin and he was busy devouring a mountain of food, which actually included a few humanoid dead bodies. He was a tiger and he was fine devouring everything and gaining strength from it. His fur was black with white stripes on it.

What they were doing was very disrespectful but no one complained about it to them at all. There was a very good behind this and that was the fact that these two were S rank powerhouses. Even though they had recruited them with a lot of money, they were not brave enough to order them around. That was how influential a S ranker was. At most they could request them to look out for the employers.

There was also another gorgeous looking elvin lady named Diana beside Doan. She had his granddaughter and she was currently looking at the dark elvin man with disgust. That was because just a few moments ago this man had inappropriately touched her without her permission.

She was seething with anger but had no where to vent it. Rank S was just too much of a hurdle even for her doting grandfather. She was still very grateful to him as it was him who stopped that man and even gave him a slight warning.

Almost all elves had a very good eyesight but Diana was a bit special in this regard. She was born with a special type of eyes that was capable of seeing through most of the things that other stronger people might miss.

She was unsure of the intention of the ships for getting closer to their large ship, but as they were trying to conceal their presence she was sure that their intention was not good or friendly. Even though she was a bit sad with all the things that happened with her previously, she still loved her grandfather and did not want anything to happen to him.

So, she decided to warn everyone about the coming ships. But just as she was about to open her mouth, she felt an immense threat of death. It was as if she opened her mouth, she would immediately die. Feeling this insane threat, she immediately closed her mouth. Then she suddenly saw three women appearing beside her. Even with her eyes, she was unable to notice them at all before they decided to show themselves.

All three of these girls were extremely beautiful. The one standing in the middle had golden hair and her beauty was actually overshadowing the other girls. She also looked like the leader of this group. Another one of the girls had black hair and a very powerful looking physique. She also had a sword at her waist.

Diana did not know these two girls but she was familiar with the last remaining one. Her red hair and red eyes were the proof of her being the famous S rank pirate of this area who had the prestigious title of "Scarlet Corsair", Selena.

Diana immediately understood the reason behind Selena's appearance here. She had been fighting with her grandfather and his partners for a long time and she was also the main reason why those two S rankers were hired. It was all to stop her from destroying them and their business that they had built after hundreds of years of hard work.
