After the seven headed serpent was sent back down to the depths of the sea, it never came back up. Elena rescued both Tomoe and Turin who were unconscious after having a very tough battle. Elena was quite satisfied with their performance as that serpent was not really something that they were able to defeat at the current time.

Currently the level of that snake was only at 345. That was the reason why Tomoe had thought that she might have a little chance of winning if her luck was on her side and if she did not make any mistakes. But one had to know that actually this scene headed serpent was a divine beast who had followed a Goddess for a long time. His actual power level was above Demigod rank. Currently he was restricting his powers to live properly in the mortal world.

So even though Ousia was only at level 345, it would be almost impossible for anyone below the demigod rank powerhouse to defeat him in battle as even in his restricted state, his essence was that of a Demigod's. So Elena was actually quite impressed that both Turin and Tomoe were able to fight this legendary beast for so long.

After they returned back to the ship, all the sailors welcomed them with great respect. This was a mythical fight that they were able to witness and even though Tomoe and Turin were unable to win, their amazing powers were clear for everyone to see.

But the person who had surprised them the most was definitely Elena. No one had expected that only one attack from her would send this legendary beast back to the depth of the sea. That was even more impressive after witnessing how strong this beast actually was.

After Tomoe and Turin woke up Elena told them about the real strength of that seven headed serpent and made them understand how impressive what they did was. Turin was a bit depressed after losing so badly but after learning that the serpent was actually a restricted Demigod, he became happy again. Turin had seen several Demigods and knew how insanely powerful they were. His ability to hold his own against such an opponent was praiseworthy.

As for Tomoe, she was not sad at all. From that battle she had judged that if that serpent was on her same level, she would still not be able to win against it. That meant she was not the absolute strongest for her current level. This in turn proved that Tomoe still had the potential to grow even stronger without increasing her levels which was an interesting thought for her.

Tomoe wanted to become the strongest in her level so she needed to refine her fighting style more to increase her combat powers. So instead of getting sad after losing a battle, Tomoe became more motivated to improve herself which was proof of her amazing willpower. Tomoe had endured many hardships and challenges when her growth stopped and that process had definitely increased her willpower a lot.

After that incident with the legendary beast nothing much happened for the rest of the journey. Very soon the ship reached the waters which was very close to the vampire continent. This fact was understandable even by just looking at the sea.

The water which was clear blue a few moments ago had turned completely blackish red. The sun in the sky had disappeared and was replaced by a full moon. The atmosphere of the city had also become cold. This was an environment that was very bad for most of the living beings of this world but for the vampires it was absolutely perfect.

All the vampire sailors of the ships became very excited and active after entering this area. The increase in their strength was even better than their strength in the night. This was the reason why vampires were one of the great races who feared nothing else in the world except for the gods. With this natural advantage of theirs, nothing had the power to break through the vampires with their powerful racial abilities and insanely favourable terrain.

Both Tomoe and Turin had never seen something like this. They had not even noticed properly when the day had turned into night even though according to the watch, currently it was still afternoon. The change of the night from day was very mysterious and both of them were unable to sense the perfect time when it actually happened.

They all also looked at the various new things that were unique to this continent. Actually most of the things that could be found in the vampire continent was unique to it and could not be found anywhere else in the world. There were several new types of fishes and monsters that Tomoe had never seen before.

The monsters of this sea were more aggressive than the regular sea monsters. But the ship was using an item made from a very high ranking monster of this area that made sure that the other weaker monsters would stay away from the ships. So the journey in this area of the sea was even safer than before.

Very soon a land appeared before them. This was the first piece of land that Elena and her group was seeing that belonged to the vampire continent. But it was not their destination but was just a normal harbour in the path of the sea.

Even though they had no real need, the ship was still going to stop here for a short amount of time to gather various pieces of information. Information was very important for merchants and ships so they were planning to gather from here. The sailors had been away from the vampire continent for a long long time so their information was outdated. They still did receive information in a different continent but only the most important and relevant information was given. So to know small and general news, this type of information gathering was very much needed.

For that reason the fleet of several ships stopped in a small harbour city called Lantria. This was a very small city that mostly depended on fishing for the livelihood of the residents. And this was going to be the exact place which would be fortunate enough to welcome Elena in the land of eternal night, the continent of the vampires.

Elena, Tomoe and Turin were all extremely excited about this and with that excitement they landed on the ground of this new continent for the first time.
