After learning about the society, Elena started to ask the children about their food. Vampires were known to be mostly eating blood and Elena was curious to know if the vampires of this world were doing the same or had they managed to develop a different style of food habit.

It turned out that these vampires also depended on blood but at the same time they had also managed to create a unique cuisine based on blood as the main ingredient. Normally it was depicted that human blood was the best nourishment for the vampires but that was not the case here. The quality of the blood depended on many factors and not just the race.

Blood of any high level being was normally tasty without considering any special circumstances. Races like elves and humans had tastier blood while dwarves and beastkins had less tasty blood. The reason for that was unknown to others but Elena knew that the taste of a certain race's blood depended on if the goddess of Vampire had a favourable impression of that race or not.

But vampires mostly used beast and monster blood as their nourishment. Blood of low level monsters were mostly very terrible while surprisingly blood of high level monsters were among the tastiest ones. Beast blood was generally very tasty and there were even special beasts whose blood was considered to be a delicacy. These beasts were rare and only the vampires of the highest echelon had access to these.

But the vampires did not just drink the raw blood like barbarians. Instead they developed various cooking techniques to process the blood and to make it even tastier. Many pioneer vampires did many experiments to see what kind of blood mixers tasted the best and if there were some kind of ingredients that were capable of enhancing the flavour of a blood. With their great effort, the current vampire society had managed to develop a great taste for the type of blood that they wanted in their daily lives.

Elena was happy to learn about this new type of food culture but at the same time she was also quite sad. That was because she would not be able to enjoy the type of food that the vampires liked. She had already tried a very expensive vampire dish that was made using the blood of a high level monster. According to the city head, this definitely was a very tasty dish for any vampire. But to Elena it just tasted salty and irony, just like blood would taste. So other than the vampires themselves no other race would be able to enjoy their cuisine.

After learning about various kinds of food from the children, Elena became interested to try them out and so she went to the city head's house to try them. And that was when Elena came to know the unfortunate truth. After that she and her two partners left the city head's house and went outside of the city to check out the surroundings.

The outside of the city was mostly plain but it was also filled with quite a few monsters and wild beasts. Even the vampire continent had an adventurer guild and the members of the guild regularly cleaned all these places up. From what Elena was able to observe, the average strength of the monsters and wild beasts of the vampire continent was on the higher end if compared to the other continents that Elena had seen. That was mostly because the average strength of a vampire was also higher.

An average commoner vampire was at least 3 times stronger than an average human. Not only that but they were also proficient in both the path of a warrior and the path of a mage. That really gave them the confidence to declare themselves as one of the strongest races in the world.

Elena, Tomoe and Turin met a few adventurers on their way who were very excited to know that Elena was a S rank adventurer. Elena asked them several questions about topics that an adventurer should have good knowledge about and Elena was not disappointed and was able to learn quite a lot.

She learnt more about adventurers of this continent and also about some of the nearby dungeons. The Vladimarok continent had the highest amount of dungeons in the whole world. That was mostly because the vampire goddess was extremely interested in them and had asked almost all the gods to create at least one dungeon on her land. Elena was also interested in checking them out.

But most of the dungeons were not very hard and were not exciting enough for a S ranker like Elena. So that group of adventurers also told Elena about something that might be of more interest to her. That something was called God's Deadly Grace.

Just when Alreuni had the system of Divine Calamity to train the S ranker elves, vampires also had a same kind of situation. But the S rankers of this land were not given this type of trial suddenly and instead they were given more than enough time to choose what they wanted to do.

These were special trial grounds with extremely powerful monsters. Entering there was a huge danger to one's life but defeating those monsters also yielded insane results. These trial grounds were called the God's Deadly Grace and even with all the danger, many high ranking vampires went there and quite a few of them also died after failing the trials. Even then the flow of people going there did not lessen.

There was one such trial ground just a few kilometres away. This trial ground was exceptionally dangerous and only A rankers or higher had any chance of surviving them. But there were not many people of such a high rank present in a backwater area like this so that trial ground did not see much traffic. So Elena would be able to enter it right away if she went.

This made Elena quite interested in these trial grounds and she also thought that this place would be a very good practice place for Tomoe and Turin. So Elena decided to check it out as soon as possible.

She wanted to go there right away but that was not possible to do immediately as Elena needed to inform the ship crew about this first. She was not sure how much time they would need inside the trial ground so informing the crew was important.

So Elena went and told Alisia and Collence about it. They immediately agreed to this proposal and were even willing to wait in this city for more time if needed. Elena was thankful for their understanding and decided to give them a good thank you gift later.

Just like that, Elena, Tomoe and Turin went to check out this divine trial called the God's Deadly Grace.
