Miskef was a special vampire who did not only have the characteristics of the vampire race but also the characteristic of a special demon race called Hoflinks. That was also the reason why he looked like a 12 years old, even though he was hundreds of years old.

He had inherited his title as the baron of this city from his father but his mother was obviously but a vampire but a hoflink demon. So obviously many people were not happy with him taking the title. But Miskef was way more capable than all his other siblings and even though he had some racial traits from the Hoflink race, he was also a pure blooded noble vampire. So technically there were no problems with him taking the title.

But obviously many people were not happy with him over them. This group of people gathered together under the lead of Miskef's uncle. They were going to resist Miskef's ruling and were going to create trouble for him. But Miskef was chosen to be the ruler because of a reason. So in no time, he managed to send a spy to gather information from the people who were trying to oppose him.

From that spy, he came to know the terrible plan that his uncle was planning. Their family had a special item that was a symbol for his family. And his uncle was planning to destroy that item. Then he was planning to use that to mark Miskef as a incompetent ruler.

His own household had many people supporting the rebels. So he did not feel safe keeping that item inside his house. But at the same time, no place in this whole city was safe as his uncle was truly extremely influential.

So after using his mind a lot, finally Miskef was able to come up with a plan. His uncle was extremely proud of his race as a vampire so there was almost no chance that he would take help from anyone from a different race. So Miskef decided to create this special mountain.

As he had some features of the Hoflink race, Miskef was immune to the effects of the magic items that he had utilised in this mountain. Miskef managed to get his hand on these items by using the connections he had managed to make in other continents.

This mountain had worked extremely well in protecting this item from his uncle's hand. As in this city, only Miskef himself was capable of climbing this mountain, he was extremely satisfied with his protection method.

But in recent years, she had found out that even though his uncle was still extremely opposed to joining hands with people from other races, some people from the rebel faction were not as stubborn as him and were more than willing to join hands with people from other races if that benefited them.

So now, Miskef suddenly found himself in need of getting rid of this problem of his from the roots. That was the reason why he had invited Elena and Tomoe here. With the support of powerful S rankers like them, getting rid of his opposition was a very easy thing.

This room had a vast and extensive collection of metalworks. Elena and Tomoe were quite impressed with it and both of them were able to find pieces that they found desirable. So with those pieces as their reward, they accepted the job.

Then to accomplish their mission, Elena and Tomoe decided to follow Miskef for a day to show everyone that he had their support. Not only that but they also threatened the rebels during this time. Miskef was a smart person and used this opportunity to show even the citizens that he had the support of two esteemed S rankers. That increased his fame amongst the citizens by a lot. Elena and Tomoe did not need to do anything serious and just walked around the city with Miskef with them. That was enough to complete their mission.

But there was still a chance that after Elena and Tomoe left the city, his desperate uncle might try to attack him. So Elena put on a show to grant Miskef a S rank item to protect himself. With the threat of this item, even after Elena and Tomoe left, Miskef would still have a trump card in his hands.

Actually Elena did not need to give Miskef a S rank item here. Even a powerful A rank item would have the same effect as this was just a small city and even the strongest here was just an initial A ranker. But after getting two amazing items for basically doing almost nothing, she felt a little bad and decided to give Miskef a generous gift.

A structure appeared just outside the city and trapped seven of the villagers. This structure looked like a glass cage but the glass was red in colour. This red glass wall was extremely thin and looked very fragile. But even after all the villagers hit it with all their might with any weapons that they managed to find, this structure was still intact.

So the villagers asked Elena and Tomoe for help. Just like that, another trouble appeared on their footsteps.
