Restart: The World Savior's New Beginning

Chapter 967: Ch 967: A Fated Encounter

After entering the Starseer Tower, the ladies started to happily check out everything that this place had to offer. Currently they were in the lower floors of the tower and as they went up to the higher floors, the authority level needed to access would continue to increase.

These lower floors were unrestricted and were available to even even general public. Several shops, various kinds of entertainment facilities, musiums, exhibition and many more things could be found here. It was a very bustling place.

As Zeta was supposed to take the leading role here, she did a little bit of cheating and used her abilities as a Chaosborn to immediately gather as much information as she could from the people present here.

This way, in a blink of an eye, Zeta suddenly became the most knowledgeable person about the lower floors of the tower.

So with her newly gained knowledge, instead of Tessa, she started to lead the ladies in visiting various interesting places.

This display again made Tessa to be dumbfounded. It was supposed to be the first visit of this VIP person here. So why the heck it looked like that she had been here many times before and knew everything about this place even better than the expert guides.

Tessa was aware that there were many people with incredible individual powers and abilities among the people who came from other worlds with different power system. And now that she was finally seeing what powers like that was capable of doing and she could not help but be fearful of Zeta.

Now she finally understood why the leaders of this nation was treating this person with this much importance. Someone with this kind of powers should not be taken lightly.

...

With Zeta's lead, the ladies visited quite a few places and all of those locations were enjoyable. Venessa was the person who was the most happy with this outcome as visiting the famous Starseer Tower was a dream come true for many people including her.

As for the other ladies, even though they also enjoyed all of the attractions, they were not blown away by them either. Still this was definitely an enjoyable time spent.

The other ladies, especially Zeta and Rosalie started to finally get truly excitedly as they went to higher floors where only people with annual subscriptions were allowed to enter. This restricted area had various research papers written by generations of scientists who had worked here.

The research papers which were allowed to be kept here were not very complex or important. But still, even among them, there were a few hidden gems that were very interesting.

Zeta and Rosalie ended up spending quite a bit of time here and they only left this floor when Tessa told them that the higher floors would have even better research papers.

Even though it was Zeta and Rosalie who were looking most interested regarding this, Elena was also very excited. But only a few truly exceptional papers were able to attract her attention.

Among the ones that had actually managed to do exactly that, one name stood out quite a bit. This name was that of an senior scientist's who was working in the Starseer Tower.

The name is question was Dr. Lance Armell. Elena had seen his name in the previous floor too. It looked like he had done research on various interesting and niche subjects. He was only 27 years told but he had already made quite a few interesting discoveries.

After seeing Elena's interest on this person, the other two knowledge loving ladies also checked his work out. And they were super impressed by it. Even Oss, the machine Goddess and the mother of this world praised him.

This scientist had a perfectionist vibe and his research papers were filled with a lot of details. It looked like after coming to any conclusion, he had continued to search for something that could go against his final result. This was a very good attitude for a researcher.

After hearing this name, Tessa told the ladies that the name of this dr. Lance was very famous among the general population of the city seven or so years ago. That was because he was one of the rare few talent who had came from a completely insignificant background but still had managed to land one of the best jobs that this world had.

But after a year or two, his fame had died down as not much news could come out of the tower to the general public. Still, from what little bits of news Tessa had heard about him, it looked like he had managed to become a senior researcher here in a very short period of time, so he must be doing quite well now.

...

Just like this, Zeta and her party started to climb the tower while checking out all the interesting knowledge that they could find. After getting interested in the previous few floors, Elena kept an eye open to look out for more works of this scientist called Lance Armell.

With the VIP status that was granted to Zeta, she was capable of visiting all the areas of this tower expect for the top secret ones which were related to national security. So basically all the areas.

Tessa had planned to visit some other places before the evening but from the excitement level of the ladies, it did not look like they would be done before the evening. So it looked like they all were going to stay in the Starseer Tower for the time being.

...

When it was time for the lunch, Tessa asked the ladies where they wanted to eat. Elena had learned from some of the texts that the canteen for the senior researchers here in the Starseer Tower was extremely good. So she decided to try the food there.

While the ladies were entering the canteen, they were very delightfully discussing various topic that they had here.

The only people who were not participating in it were Venessa due to her lack of relevant knowledge and Tessa for the same exact reason. Even Oss was interested in learning about various things that her world did not have.

While this was happening, Elena took a swapping glance of the whole room. Then she suddenly noticed a depressed looking person with lifeless eyes.

Actually this kind of eyes was not rare in the Starseer Tower. A vast majority of the scientists that the ladies had came accross so far had similar looking eyes.

So what attracted Elena's attention regarding this man was his name. There was an ID card hanging on his neck and on that ID, the name of Lance Armell was clearly written.

Now this was almost like a fated encounter. And the current papers that was before him also looked very interesting to Elena. So without wasting any time, she went to greet him.
