Vivian was the first to step out of the carriage, followed by Aster and Lily.

When the demons of the capital city saw their queen stepping out of the carriage, their eyes sparkled like stars and everyone couldn't hold back their excitement.

"Oh my devi!! It's Her Majesty!!"

"It's really her!!"

"Someone pinch me, I must be dreaming!!"

"Her Majesty is still as beautiful as she was when I saw her centuries ago." A couple of female satyrs squealed excitedly.

"I know, right? She's the best!!"

"I love her so much!!" Many other female demons who idolized Vivian continued to gush over her until their gazes landed on the young prince and princess behind her, and the entire plaza instantly erupted into roars of excitement.

"Oh my devi!!! Is that our Prince?!"

"Yes! That's Prince Astaroth!!"

"Oh my devi! Oh my devi!! Oh my devi!! His Highness is so handsome!!"

"He is fifteen, right?" A beautiful sixteen-year-old succubus asked.

"Yeah, I heard rumors about him being fifteen."

"Oh, in that case, I would be more than happy to be his-"

*Bam!!*

A female demon suddenly slammed the succubus's head before she could utter something inappropriate.

However, everyone's attention was soon captured by the cute little princess walking beside the dragon prince, and their cheers grew even louder.

"Ohhh!!!! That must be Princess Lilian."

"Yes, she is, and she's so devilishly cute!!"

"Are you guys seeing her tail?" A female Oni asked her three friends who were also Oni demons.

All three friends noticed Lily's tail and their eyes sparkled even more.

"Yeah, it's so fuzzy and fluffy. I wanna touch it!!"

"Wait a minute, doesn't her tail resemble that of a tanuki tribe member?"

"Tanuki tribe? So you're saying she's part beastman?" The fourth Oni demon asked.

"But Prince Astaroth doesn't have a similar tail to hers."

"Oh wait a minute. Doesn't this mean that Her Majesty fell in love with two different men?!"

"Oh my devi!! That is so badass!!! I love it!!"

"Me too, but where are her husbands?"

"You're right, I don't see anyone else stepping out of the carriage."

"Actually, I heard a rumor from some nobles this morning." The first female Oni said in hushed tones and her female friends leaned closer.

"What did you hear?"

"I heard them say that her husbands are no longer around."

"Wait, you mean they're…?" One of the Onis made a gesture of slitting her throat and the first Oni nodded in response, causing every other demon eavesdropping on their conversation to widen their eyes in disbelief.

Even Aster who had overheard their conversation couldn't help but stumble slightly in shock

Thanks to his enhanced hearing, Aster was able to pick up on what many demons were saying about him and Lily.

Of course, most of them were still praising him, as well as his mother and sister, but he could also hear a few of them whispering about how Vivian had married two different men, only to kill them afterwards, the moment she realized she was pregnant.

Aster unconsciously raised his brows in disbelief as he wondered how these demons had come to such a conclusion.

But then he recalled what his mother had said to him two days ago.

"We demons can be really strange and silly with the wild thoughts we have in our heads sometimes."

These were her exact words and Aster finally understood what his mother had meant when she said that.

He instinctively lifted his gaze to find Vivian smiling at him with a look that said 'I told you so', and he couldn't help but smile in return.

For a while now, he had been a bit worried about what the demons would think of him and Lily being different from each other but it turned out that his worries had been for naught.

'I guess I should have listened to her advice when she told me not to worry about anything.' Aster smiled gently as he finally agreed with what his mother had told him previously.

Pushing the thought aside, Aster continued to walk elegantly with a small smile on his face. His mother had instructed him just before he had stepped out of the carriage.

To demons, first impressions mattered a lot.

That was why Vivian had reminded her little dragons to stay calm and relaxed as they walked behind her.

She knew that showing any form of shyness or fear would immediately make others perceive them as weak, especially since her fellow demon lords had gathered in the plaza already.

Aster had also noticed them because unlike most demons who were just a little bit taller than him, the demon lords were a lot taller than normal demons, and every single one of them looked really intimidating, but Aster tried his best not to stare too much.

He cast a single glance on them before redirecting his gaze to the chairs reserved for his mother, his sister, and him.

Meanwhile, the male demon lords were impressed with what they had seen so far.

Each of them was seated on a raised platform, before a round table that wasn't too far from the table occupied by a few demon elders who had come all the way from the seven kingdoms.

Their seats were also a few feet away from the lower-ranked nobles and commoners, who were seated at the far end of the plaza's entrance.

"Hmm, so what do you guys think of the Dragon Queen's children?" A male demon Lord asked softly.

"They seem okay, I guess, but what about you, Vulcan. What do you think?" The Capra Demon Lord asked Vulcan, but the Pyro Demon Lord seemed to be lost in his own thoughts as he stared at the dragon prince and princess with his arms crossed and his brows slightly furrowed.

It almost seemed like he was trying to figure out which part of Aster resembled the powerful demon father he assumed Vivian had slaughtered.
