Liana walked out of the library alongside Sylvia, still looking down, but there was a glint of determination in her eyes now.
Sylvia had followed Nolan's advice, though she hesitated, but the outcome wasn't as cold as she expected. The words sank into Liana's head and she knew it was right. If she continued like this, then it meant she was ready to lose someone again tomorrow.
"Thank you," she said to Sylvia.
"Oh, you're… welcome," Sylvia wanted to say it was Nolan's words but, she decided to just keep shut.
"Why don't you go get some rest," said Sylvia as she patted Liana n the back.
Liana nodded and walked off while Sylvia stood by the library stairs, her smile becoming razor thin.
After reaching the gates Liana found Cedric sitting by the guard post. When he spotted her, he stood up.
"Ready to go?" He asked with a warm smile, trying to make things seem alright.
"You were waiting for me?" she smiled, then nodded. "Yes."
They both walked out of the guild, going down.
"I don't have an appetite this night," Liana said.
"Me neither," Cedric replied.
"Where's Nolan by the way?" she asked.
"I have absolutely no idea," Cedric yawned.
… …
"I know a lot about you than you know yourself," she mused.
Nolan remained puzzled.
"A thousand years of acting like I always forgot, but… you have finally gained the power I have been waiting for," she added.
"I don't understand. What are you implying?" Nolan asked.
"Don't act stupid with me Nolan," she scoffed, leaning back, her smile disappearing. "You know very well that I'm talking about… The Omnipotent Copy ability."
A sudden cold went down Nolan's spine. That name… no one but the system itself should know it. How was this possible?
"How…?" he trailed.
The Wisher dropped an elbow on her lap and rested her face on her fist. "I exist outside your loop, Nolan."
Nolan felt his heart skip a number of beats as his eyes widened. "What?! Wh-what do I—how do I break it? Wh-what is it about? Please, tell me something I don't know. Everything. What should I do?"
Nolan had never in a thousand years ever looked as desperate as he was right now.
The Wisher watched Nolan's pleading eyes and expression, in utter disinterest. The hardened millennia old veteran was not far from breaking down at this moment.
"Please…" Nolan clasped his hands together, going down on his knees. "help me stop this. I'm…I'm tired."
"What does it change?"
"Huh?" Nolan looked up at her.
"If you know. What does it change?" she repeated her question. "Did I tell you I made the loop?"
Nolan watched her quietly.
"I exist outside the loop, neither means I made the loop, nor does it mean I can destroy it."
Nolan stood up. "O-okay you said y-you know about the Omnipotent Copy System, right? What is it about?"
"System?" The Wisher looked puzzled, before scoffing. "So he still decided to give you a guide as well," she muttered.
"He? Who's he? Who are you talking about?" Nolan questioned.
"The one who's trying to save you from this misery," The Wisher said.
Nolan remained still. "S…save me?" he mumbled.
"He is giving you a chance to break out of this loop. He has fully turned his back on them, and there is no going back from here. If you fail to pass this regression, you will not only fail him, but we might as well meet here for a million more lives, or even more," she smiled and instantly dropped it.
"He—Them—I-I don't understand,"
"You don't have to," she yawned. "You will when the time is right. I was never interested in any of this, but when I heard of the Omnipotent Copy, I couldn't help it."
Nolan remained silent. She was saying she wanted something from him, indirectly.
"I don't want anything from. Not one I'm benefitting from anyways. I just want to see how well you'll fair against them with an arsenal of abilities and skills. I want to spite them. What do you name them again? Ah, Architects," she giggled.
Nolan's brows shut up in familiarity. So she was talking about them? MrAnonymous? QueenAura_32?
"Your existence and endless journey has caused a divide amongst the Architects. Merely knowing this may be your last regression, is enough to make them go crazy. That is if you truly can make it."
"A divide?"
"Don't ask me any questions about your loop again, because that's all I feel like sharing. Ask yourself how you got into it in the first place," she added, then she lifted her free hand and a small ball of light suddenly formed, shining brightly.
She extended her hand and it hovered over to him, stopping right in front of his face, the light somewhat hypnotizing.
Nolan slowly raised his hand and touched the ball. Immediately it made contact with his fingers, it vanished, but Nolan felt something crawl up his hand to his chest.

Nolan stared at the messages in disbelief, before looking back at The Wisher.
"I decided to give you a little expansion," she muttered, looking away. "Aha!" She turned back. "Accept it. They tuned me out a long time ago."
Nolan was confused. "Accept wha—" He stopped when the system screen suddenly changed.
[Accept request?]
"Y-yes," he said after a moment of hesitation.
[¹Message!

Nolan's eyes widened. "You're not a spirit at all, are you? You're an Architect as w—"
When he looked up, there was no one there. Just him, the horse and his system, which flashed again.

Nolan slowly put his hands in his head, gripping his hair tightly, as if he was going to rip them off.
"Aaaaaaahhhhhh!" He screamed,a raw sound of utter frustration, echoing through the empty plains. It was so loud that the horse stepped back from him, fear in its eyes.
Then he stopped, knuckles white as he brought down his hands from his which now fell over his eyes. "What more?"
